I have had to come here for so many things. I love this post office. They are always nice and polite. They have suggested different ways to box to save money on shipping things when I needed to do fast postal for the husband. I've always had great experiences here. The clerks are friendly and helpful and even when busy, the line moves reasonably. Every window is usually staffed, which is great because at the Phoenix location where I loved from there would be only 2 people working 4 -5 windows. read more

Hopefully you don't have to get a hold of anyone who works at the post office. I've been calling on and off all day to report an issue. I was having ,they would answer the phone and hang up immediately. I called all the way up until 4:30 to when their phones automatically shut off I do believe that they were answering the phone and hanging up on purpose. I was placed on hold and the person never came back to the phone after about 20 minutes of waiting. I don't understand why every single time I have a package delivered to a lock box on the mailbox. I always have issues whether the package is not in the box or the keys don't work. I'm really getting fed up with our local post office. never being able to get a hold of somebody when you have important items that are being delivered to you is stressful and frustrating. I'm leaving a note in my mailbox that hopefully the mailman will be able to assist me with and hopefully I can get some help that way because clearly calling and gets you nowhere. read more

The few times I've had to actually go into this post office have been fine. Usually a short wait, but the staff behind the counter have always been nice and helpful. Yesterday, I was expecting a package (appx $100 value). I saw via their "informed delivery" website, that the package had been delivered to one of the parcel boxes in my neighborhood mailbox set up. So I went to my mailbox and there was no key for any parcel box. I got back home, called the Buckeye Post Office and was met with a busy signal for about 5 minutes. Someone did eventually pick up and she was kind and friendly and said she would text the carrier (who had just left when I arrived at my mailbox, so I knew she was still in the area). I was concerned that I would never see that package because clearly the key had been left in the wrong person's mailbox. Fortunately, about 2 hours later, my doorbell rang and the carrier had dropped my package off on my porch. So, I appreciate the post office handling the situation as they said they would and saving my package. read more

They dont or wont answer their phone calls! They're not that busy! Why waste money having a phone!

Called because my package says delivered in parcel locker but there is no key. I called literally 34 times. About 25 of those went to a fax scream in my ear, the rest, except one, were busy signals. The ONE call that was answered was one minute after closing time. I explained the situation and he said he would get the program up and look, could I wait for a brief hold. 22 minutes later, he never came back and I hung up. The level of professionalism here is astounding. We should all aim to preview this level of customer service. So, now, sarcasm aside... Wow, please don't treat people like this, it's VERY uncalled for and rude. My time is valuable, as it's everyone's time. And yes I'm stubborn, evident by me waiting on hold for 22 minutes before I hung up, but that doesn't mean I have so much spare free time that I have nothing better to do then wait on someone that laid the phone down and left to go do other things. Tell me I need to call tomorrow, or something. This office is always a problem getting through, but they close at 4:30 in the afternoon so hours are so few that is hard to get in touch with someone. I'm a vinyl record collector. I receive vinyls every day and every week. I receive digital tracking numbers for all my packages with no problems. This time I wanted to be nice and buy something for my mother, some expensive sunglasses just because. I check my tracking and it states that my package was delivered at the front desk, but I live in a house so that makes no sense. I was the jerk today that showed up at 1 minute to closing. My son is an over the road driver. He was stuck in bfe Idaho unable to pick up a load without ten more outriggers. (9 pounds each, big and bulky) ups had quoted me almost 800.00 dollars to ship. Anyway, I took two into the post office. They were nice and helped me figure out the fastest cheap way to get these parts to him. The man went out to the car and helped me bring the rest in!!! Holy cow I've kept them late, they don't hate me, and are willing to help me!!! Long story short I kept them a half hour late, I offered to give the man some cash for lunch but he said no he couldn't take it. So instead of spending 800. I had to mail out a letter and I didn't have an envelope with a "window", which was required to whom I was sending it to. I went up and this very kind lady (I didn't get her name, but she had blue eyes and long dirty blonde hair) and she was very helpful with my situation! My letter had private info I didn't want exposed and she helped me block some of it (due to them only having a very larger window envelope) simple things like this is what really makes my day! I hope I get her again for any future mail situations!! read more

It's 06/14/2019 and I'm still waiting for my check that was sent from Avondale on 06/06/2019 to Buckeye, AZ. I confirmed that my job had the correct address. Also, I had another package that was supposed to be delivered today that was sent on the 11th from Yuma, AZ. This is just too many late deliveries in 1 week. I'm very disappointed. Never in my life have I seen a group of people who are so incompetent. Seriously. Their job is to read an address, and put it in the corresponding mailbox. This seems to be too tough for them. I know children who could do this job with minimal training. My wife's credit card payment was late, and she was charged $35.00 because our mail was delivered to the mailbox of a neighbor who was out of town for a month. This is just one example of the idiocy. Beautiful. If you plan on moving to Sun City Festival or Festival Foothills, either get a P.O. box in Surprise, or get in the habit of knocking on your neighbors' doors and asking if they have your mail. I submitted an address change on 6/21/20 online. Today is 7/21/20 and I've yet to receive my mail even though I've been getting confirmation emails saying my mail is on its way to my new address. I placed numerous calls and submitted tickets indicating there was a problem. Today I was told that my mail lady has had my mail for over a month but won't put it in my box at the new house because she couldn't open my the box due to a bush being in the way of the mail box door. So she returned my mail to sender, one piece of mail was MY MORGAGE information. Post office said I needed to cut the bush back and she would start giving me my mail. There was LITERALLY little twigs in front of the box. There was absolutely no reason she couldn't have delivered the mail. Complete laziness and lack of customer service on her end!! Maybe try leaving me a note asking me to please cut the twigs back?? I see why buckeye post office has such a low rating, no customer service and lack of urgency with people mail!!! read more

I would like to say that Buckeye post office is terrible. I have emailed, and tried to call and all it does is ring. I had a issue in May with the mail carrier and apparently it felt they needed to write nasty and threatening notes they they were not delivering my mail. After go to the Post master the issue was suppose to be resolved bu now I am still trying to get my box that was shipped in May of needed medical supplies. I texted the lady that I spoke to also last week with a tracking number and still have had no response. The medical company will not send it till I get notification that the post office doesn't have it. So now I am without something I need. And they wonder when you go in why your so agree. They don't ever answer a phone I let it ring for almost a hour before and still nothing. It is the worse post office I have ever dealt with in my life, and being in the service I've dealt with a lot of them. I made a complaint with corporate post office, and they didn't like that guess I will have to again. So the mail carrier can tell me I have to pick up my mail cause she won't deliver it, which I was told they can't do under this kind of circumstance. Oh well off to argue again, I guess. I sent a regular mail since last week Tuesday and the receiver is yet to get it. I am in pain as my Fr is set for surgery and needed the mail. I am begging the management to help me out with the mail. I know it has no tracking number. I have never thought that I would send a mail and will not get to the destination no matter what. I have never seen a post office and it's staff that really can't do the job it's supposed to do. Mail holds not being delivered until 3 days after it was supposed to be delivered. I went in today to see what I can do about getting my mailbox re-keyed as we are new to the Buckeye area. The lady that was supposedly helping me was rude as can be. I was the only person in the whole lobby and she acted like I was an inconvenience. Instead of telling me about the two gentlemen I could call to get my box re-keyed she made me show my rental agreement and give her our new address. Then kept telling me she has no idea "how the hell" she's going to get me our mailbox keys if she has no idea "where the hell" our location is. You deserve a negative star.....I had my mail held over the holidays, as I was out of town. The accumulated mail was to deliver on 12/29, it did not. Today is 1.2 and I still do not have my mail. I filed 2 online complaints and still have not received a call back. I tried to call the post office direct 53 times and no one ever picked up. I just want to know where my mail is and I will come get it since they can't seem to get it right. I am beyond frustrated. Holiday time is over people, time to step up. If this happened at any other place of business there would be consequences. Why does the USPS get a pass. I would of hoped my mail would of been hand delivered this morning but they just don't seem to care. I am furious and this is totally unacceptable. I give the Buckeye Post Office a zero rating. 25 years in Buckeye, and they still can't figure it out. Now that you can track your packages , I would think they couldn't get away with undelivered mail/packages. Or the line of attempted to delivery. This is one more reason I don't like Buckeye. Unfortunately I had to have a package delivered USPS again and it is missing. This is now the second time this has happened to me. I was told it was delivered on the 13th but did not receive it. After calling several times I was able to reach someone to ask if they can look into it and gave my name and number but haven't heard anything back.
