Horrible customer service. Went into the ups store to get paperwork notarized, a girl employee asked a gentleman employee if he would do the notary, his response was I don't do notaries after 3. Sometimes their employees are nice and sometimes, they just hate their jobs and you can tell. And that's fine, but hold it inside! It's not my fault you hate your job. I mailed an 87-year-old original birth certificate from this store. I also paid for tracking. Nine days after the document was supposed to arrive, UPS still had no idea where the package was. When I came back to the store to ask them to make things right by sending a second copy I had for free, they said there is no way that that is going to happen. I will be doing business elsewhere. If you lose a customer's package, the least you can do is make up for it by offering to send it again for free. They obviously are not interested in pleasing their customers and owning their mistakes. read more

This place is ALWAYS busy! Thank goodness for Zee. He keeps the place organized and efficiently running. With it being the only UPS in the whole area there is constantly a lot of traffic going on. He's knowledgeable on everything you could possibly need there and seems to be great at supporting the staff in there. He keeps the store under control when things get busy and always makes me feel like my business is welcomed and appreciated. They're located in a busy parking lot tucked up and behind the gas station, be careful getting into the lot and leaving. I've shipped a variation of items through many different ways and always had a good experience. Thank you Zee! And thank you to all the staff for always being awesome! read more

I'm shocked this location has 3.5 stars. The notary/ front end lady was rude to her employees and her customers. Not pleasant at all. Told the customers to close the door because their a/c was on. If you did a better job of managing the line people wouldn't have to stand in the door way. The way she addressed her employee in front of a customer was embarrassing. I feel bad for the employee. I'd rather drive the extra 15 minutes to the jackrabbit/ Indian school location. No reason to treat your employees or customers this way. Quick. Efficient. The manager helped me with my Amazon return. Just FYI most Amazon returns are not free anymore... I guess if ever. I had to purchase a bag for my return, almost 5$. The manager was not very friendly, she was straight to the point... she looked irritated and overworked. I have been helped by ZEE I'm the past and he has been helpful and fast, he seems super friendly but maybe more to his regular customers. Overall the store is clean, they were swift and seemed to have the busy store under control. I dread going here, like legit get anxiety, because there's one worker who's so RUDE and loud about it. it's embarrassing to the customers who have to encounter this. I'm pretty sure all of the customer service complaints are directed towards him because the other workers are always nice. For over 2 years, I have returned items to UPS stores that are free returns. I've been doing this all across the Phoenix-metro area. I tried to drop off a package here and they forced me to pay for a shipping label. (And it was $1.50??!?! for a one-sided black & white sheet of paper). I told them that I've been doing this for awhile and never have been charged this. The manager said that Amazon's website is misleading and it has never been free. Lies. Attached is a screenshot of what Amazon says, "You do not need to package your return or print a shipping label. The UPS Store will pack, label and ship your return for free." How is that misleading?!?! The manager was rude with me when I told him this was incorrect and that his store was being deceptive. I prefer the "old management". We arrived to location 5 minutes till closing, not the best but we had no choice since there was construction detours (life happens) . James was super confrontational from the start . I was in the store at before my mother , and he was making comments about her to another customer . "I'm about to make her super unhappy !" That was so unprofessional. We had a large bumper we were shipping out , he didn't even give us a chance to put it in the box we brought . He started saying "I can't ship that , it's too big " My mother had shipped larger things previously so we had no idea why he said "he can't " She clarified we would put it in the box like we have before . James spoke to my mother in a horrible manner . So I asked where we can leave leave a review he got even more confrontational and started walking away saying "my name is James , go ahead , I've been working long hours you shouldn't be coming in this late. Make sure you leave the review for the correct person !" His female coworker took over for him since he obviously was irritated . I believe her name was Maria , she was great and helped us , didn't cause a scene and was super patient and helped us print a label . I understand we were there 5 min before closing but he was rude to other customers as well . He should've communicated the information to us instead of being rude and starting conflict . If he's unhappy w his job or his hours he shouldn't take that out on customers . read more

My husband usually goes and returns things from Amazon, but this time I went. The guy that works here is absolutely terrible. Super loud and annoying. Needs everyone in the place to know he's gay and is of no help at all. He doesn't wear a name tag and now I know why. After reading the reviews it's so no one knows his name. Today he felt the need to let everyone in line know that someone complained about him yesterday and none of us better be "Karen's". He took pleasure in being as rude as he could possibly be to anyone that walked through the door. He was awful to the UPS driver that was waiting for a place to park, and talked to him in the most disrespectful way. I was actually surprised that the driver didn't say anything back. The ladies that were working were nice but the gay guy kept talking/complaining to them while they were trying to work and they would nervously laugh. It was an unpleasant experience to say the least. I'll never use this place again if I have to deal with him and his attitude. read more

I can't ever think of a time that the associates here have been relatively pleasant. There is one woman who works here who has a constant bad attitude, and I had the joy of having her help me today. She was not happy to have printed out my email, and it really showed. I have came to this location many time, and I dont think I'm going to keep coming back. Shipping is a little expensive here but that's to be expected and is corporate pricing, not the store's fault. I like that the lines move quickly and I love the convenience of having my PO Box here so my shipments don't have to wait on my porch in the sun all day. Young man that helped me was very nice and polite, excellent service from him. One suggestion to the owner, there's a huge sign hanging on the far right back of the store that says express lines for UPS drop off. If it's closed (because of covid), you should remove the sign completely. A closed sign on top of the counter cannot be seen from the front of the store. If I for instance, left my spot in the front line to go down there to what I thought were open express lanes, I would lose my spot in line at the front. Removing that hanging sign would be most effective (for now til covid is over). It confuses people and when you ask an employee, they get annoyed. I asked the lady working there today NICELY (Nov 17 at 9:40 am) and she gave a little attitude, "There's a closed sign right there." That closed sign is so vague btw, I cannot tell if it's referring to the fingerprinting services or something. Just an advice EDIT: Thank you to the owner for hearing me out. I went to this location to drop off a package. I hadn't realized that the package shipping is based on dimensional weight and not actual weight. This was going to cost me an arm and a leg but luckily the employee there at the time named Morgan helped me out with finding a solution for me. I was able to send the package cheaper than what was originally quoted all because she went out of her way to help me out with different solutions. Morgan is a great employee and the manager and store owner are lucky to have her behind the counter. This location has earned my repeat business because of Morgan alone read more

I enjoy going into this store, the customer service is outstanding!!! Zee is always so welcoming and makes me feel so welcome. He greets me like we are old friends and makes sure all my questions are answered before I leave. Hands down the best UPS store I've ever used. I have seen customers come in and act a fool and he doesn't loose it on them, when he should be calling the police and asking them to leave. He continues to help when anyone else would have refused. I won't go anywhere else for my shipping, faxing and notary needs. This store is always clean and well kept and the line continues to move. They are quick to get you in and out and yet are able to make you feel like you are the only customer in the store. read more

This is review based on two different encounters: 1. The first time I had a problem when I needed to send a greeting card: our post officers is not close at all to our house, so we've decided to call the ups store and ask if they have stems and would mail the card - nice gentleman replied that they can mail it for us. At the store a young lady served me, and told me that it would cost me $1.66 to mail a regular card, and I replied that I didn't expect such a high price, I only have 89 cents, and need to get more money from a car. Her respond was: oh, you don't have to I will mail it for you. I thought that it was strange, and ask her: are you sure? She said yes. So I paid 89 cents. My daughter's birthday was 6 days later, so I kept checking with her if she got the card, but every day was answer No. We though that the card was lost. On June 30 she finally received the car, which had two posting dates in Phoenix: June 19 and June 26, which means that they mailed it one week later. So, if you want your mail be mailed on time - go somewhere else. 2. Today I went to that store to return my Amazon package. Stepped in and was looking for my return code on my phone. I was the only customer there. A young guy offered his help, and I said I am not ready. By the time I found my return code, he was gone , but a lady was training a new employee, I was patiently waiting. She finally asked if I need help, I replied that I need to send back package - her reply was he can help, the young guy was back. So he scanned my code and told me: YOU ARE ALL SET. I reply: no, I want to see you outing the label on the package. He was confused, and asked me: do I need to print the label? I said yes. He: I cannot, you supposed to print it. I said: if I could, I would have done it. He didn't know what to do. So, I asked to call somebody else. The alder lady comes out with an attitude on her face, I guess because she was interrupted, looks into the screen and tells me, in the rudest tone, that the label was already used. At that moment I was confused, and asked: what do you mean? She said that the label was used and I need to contact Amazon, I still was not getting what's going on. Than she asked if I returned package before, I said yes, but long time ago. I realized that I probably opened wrong item. I found my designated label, and was able to leave my return package with the rude lady. Can you imagine, what would've happen if I didn't tell the young guy to print the label..... my package wouldn't be return, and I am positive that they would've never followed up on it. So, please save your time and energy - go to some other location to do your mailing business. read more
