The door closest to the parking lot actually puts you at the front of the line and right next to the prepaid package drop off. Walk in through the P.O. Box entrance if you don't want to feel like you're swimming upstream.

She scoffed and referred to us as "children," implying that we must have done something wrong in the forwarding process, simply because we looked young. While we can take a joke, this comment was unnecessary, ageist, and unprofessional. Sure, 29 is young, but we are not children? We had followed all the correct steps to forward our mail, and she eventually confirmed that everything was properly set up in the system. Only then did her attitude shift. Small talk led to small talk and about 25 minutes later I was out of there with the high hopes of receiving a new passport within 3 weeks. I did not feel rushed, there was no coaxing or trying to expedite the process and honestly felt very confident in my purchase upon walking out, especially when receiving the blue book in the mail. I took a photo and informed her that I did not feel comfortable mailing my package there and would be taking my business elsewhere. She didn't stop there she continued to harass me until I was outside the building. No customer should be treated this way, especially when they are being polite and asking for help. This experience was disrespectful, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable for a federal service facility. However, that means there is no AC. I always feel so bad for them during a heat wave. Getting in and out of here with a stroller is damn near impossible, but just don't go when you're on baby duty. There's another post office on Brooks St like 1 mile away, maybe less. The building isn't as pretty as this one and it's not as nice of a walk but it's across from a pleasant park.

Then someone opens the half door and you show your pickup slip or other item and they go back into this huge warehouse sorting room to retrieve your package.
