Vasa gym shares a common parking lot with this USPS, and to be honest, I didn't notice that there was even a USPS. I am from out of town, all the other Vasa gyms share their parking lot with their neighboring businesses and I never have to think twice about looking at which parking lot belongs to which businesses. I never knew that the USPS had their own parking regulations that they enforce. Later, it was pointed out to me that there are signs posted on poles but when you are parking in the middle of a parking lot away from these signs and poles, you automatically assume that the parking lot belongs to the Vasa gym. I didn't block any mail boxes, there were plenty of other stalls open and again, it just seemed like a big parking lot that belongs to Vasa. It is very tricky and for people like me (from out of town), this just seems so scammy to me. When I went inside the USPS to confirm if the guy (out in the parking lot who was asking me to give him $100 to his Venmo account) was legit, the USPS workers were very very rude and had this evil smirk on their faces, especially the short hair blonde lady. You are a federal employee of a UNITED STATES post office, be professional, be kind, and don't be evil. I feel so violated and trapped in that situation. I felt so scared and lost. I felt so mistreated and targeted. Please put up better signs! Visible to all parking lots that it applies to. Please be specific that you WILL boot vehicles and please specify $100 fine for parking more than 30 minutes. I don't go around breaking rules on purpose and this just seems so icky and scammy. This is one location that I can purchase stamps or shipping labels at odd hours of the day if need be, as well as drop off. As a full time mom and teacher, it is hard to find time to drop packages off during buisness hours, so the Roy location was the perfect stop for me when I was living at my last house about ten minutes south of here. I ended up moving further south, and the post office near me doesn't allow for any packages or mail to be dropped off, so I'll often times drive 45 minutes or so out of my way just to drop larger packages off here. A package I had shipped was not stamped by the desk agent, and after two weeks, was returned to my…read moreown home/porch, badly damaged, and marked up as RTS/No Postage. When I went back to the Roy post office, they took no responsibility for the error. It was not a negative interaction until the senior rep Postmaster was called, and he suggested I find a different method of shipping. I honestly don't know why he made that leap, but will definitely never use that office if at all possible.
