As of Dec 8 2014, The Postal Carriers (Jefferson Facility) have managed to deliver 2 packages that were not mine (I delivered them myself) and then managed to lose 3 of my packages. Expensive stuff too. Have made formal complaints. No wonder people are using FEDEX and UPS. No Wonder the USPS is going bankrupt. Some of Culver City Postal Carriers (I am trying to be generous) have an ok attitude. One Postal Worker slammed my front gate so hard it came out of its stops and had the nerve to tell me he was almost injured. These people have no respect. If you don't like your job let someone else who needs a job have it. I Have made a formal complaint to the Post Master and I am not holding my breathe. I try to tell my vendors please do not use USPS but some still do. I guess they will learn. People save yourself and use FEDEX or UPS! read more

How can I put Zero stars? Last month the first class letter I had to mail to the next city took 18 calendar days to arrive and cost me )$200 in fees. Today, 40 minute wait in line to overnight an envelope to a post office box in the next city over. Noon, $22 for 2 day delivery. Literally no overnight guarantee. And I can't use fedex because usps won't accept. Worst is that the big banner posted outside asking for feedback is an automated phone survey that asks for a 9 digit zip code as the first question. Who knows that??? FAIL FAIL FAIL. Avoid at all costs. UPDATE. Sent a certified letter to MdR. Took 5 Days!!!!!! Cost me $185? In fees. Avoid avoid avoid. read more

The manager of this post office should be ashamed at minimum. Last time I was there they were out of stamps, need I say more. Today, no money orders, a 45 minute wait and a non functioning post machine? I could deal with poor service but this is the third, yes the third time Ive seen the staff ignore, be mean to, or leave an elderly or disabled person standing waiting for help- or scolded them to stand elsewhere or wait. I will never return to this horrid facility. It should be closed. read more

I was here at 8:30am today with a package to send, and there was no one behind the counter. No one in the entire post office! I could hear a sports game being broadcast somewhere in the back, and I rapped on the glass and called "Hello?!" as loud as I could -- for FIFTEEN MINUTES. No one came out to check and see if they had any customers. What a waste of time. I had to drive to the Mar Vista branch instead. read more

These people are completely useless, I've been trying to call them for a few days and literally every time I call the phone is busy, and when I finally got through to somebody I was placed on a very long hold to the point where I had to hang up after waiting for so long. I don't recommend doing your business here, find another post office for sure. Don't waste your time at all! read more

I have encountered this postal worker at the Jefferson location and she is a poison to the USPS. Her name is Kristen (or at least that what she says her name is). She refused to give her last name. When asked to speak with her supervisor on duty she states it is her. I can not believe that the Usps would have a supervisor that would be so rude to customers! The reason I was at the post office was to get receipt confirmation of a package I had purchased online postage for. "Kristen" refused. She stated that they did not give any confirmation of dropping off packages with online postage purchased. When I explained that I had just received a receipt from a staff member at the same location 2 days ago, she said that could not happen. I have the receipt! I felt very unsafe leaving my package with this staff member. After my own father worked as a letter carrier for the Usps for 50 years, I feel like this staff member "Kristen" poisons the reputation of the Usps. There are was no other staff member on premises to receive the package. Just a total disappointment! read more

Not as bad as some other people say. Like most post offices in the L.A. area it is slow and inefficient but it is usually less crowded than the nearby Palms post office and although the workers here will never win any awards for friendliness they are less surly than the workers at the Palms and West LA post office. Hardly great but not the worst read more

Major change now! The people at this post office have changed, and the endless lines are gone. I love it.

Second time in the last 6 months I've had a package lost when sent from this branch. Combine that with the usually huge line and I think I am done with this one, despite the fact that it's a block from my office. read more

Have to sadly agree with almost all of the reviewers here. My last visit here did me in. I thought I would be just a few minutes bc I just had 1 priority mail all ready. But I had to search for the correct envelope, they only have 2 sizes in a rather disorganzied section so I picked the soft huge one hoping that would help it be noticed in delivery (bc let's face it, this is hardly the only PO that is 'behind'). Then I saw the insanely long line. A Russian or Czech man saw my dismay and turned to me and said Get ready to wait half an hour. Hmmm. I wondered how much better the POs in his home country are. He was right. Only 2 people behind the counter...some of the time of my 40 minute wait. I have found one woman that I like to deal with there to avoid the argumentative others who also avoid looking anyone in the eye, what IS that, do they feel guilty about their terrible service?? Also this is the ONLY PO I have ever lost a piece of mail from which I placed in the outside box and of course it was a rent check. Now I only place outgoing mail in the Letters/Flats box on the inside. And...last year I called them to ask why the flag was at almost half staff when there was no reason and why it was torn to shreds and also obviously filthy. My inner patriot came out. It was apparently just hanging on a loose rope and no one was bothering to put it up or down per protocol. I am glad to say that was replaced so something good came out of a complaint for once. But yes, I'm going to avoid this place from now on if possible! read more
