This USPost Office is a sad excuse for a post office! Their self service kiosks can't measure the pkgs and that's if they work AT ALL! They open the counter whenever not on time ! The windows of the doors look like they have never seen any Windex in years! This place is pathetic! Even the outside of the building looks like it's growing mold. Went in today for my first time. It's a shame it's so conveniently located to me, because they have an employee (male, decorated in gold chains, right window) who makes it their place to make it unpleasant for decent people. I see others have had the displeasure of dealing with his confrontational treatments. I very rarely give a one star rating anywhere. The service would have to be utterly abysmal, or the staff would have to go out of their way to be rude and unhelpful to warrant such criticism. So here we are. I've used this post office many times in the past but these last few visits really take the cake. Received a damaged international package, so I do what USPS.com advises - go to the post office, get the damage verified, received a PS Form receipt for my own files. The first time I went, not only did the man at the counter not know what to do, he barely even tried to be helpful or polite. He just wanted to foist my problem on someone else, and when the "insurance guy" wasn't available, he just told me to come back in a few minutes when he may or may not be free. Options: stand around and do nothing indefinitely, or come back 30 minutes later, after running errands to be somewhat productive. Option 2 it was. When I got back, I waited in line all over again. To my chagrin, I got the same man, but at least this time I showed him what form I needed. He disappeared for about 5 minutes to locate the form, and then came back to say he didn't have it. He said the insurance guy might have it, but insurance guy was in the back filing passport work. No he cannot go bother him. Wait another hour, he said. Or come back some other time when it would be convenient for them, he said. But with his tone, "F*ck off" is what he practically said. It's no wonder they didn't even have the proper forms in stock. If you look beyond the counter at the shelves, all the papers are in disarray. When he opened the lower cabinet, it looked like a localized tornado had sent all its contents to OZ. The entire business operation here needs to be overhauled, the staff retrained on USPS's protocols. If other USPS locations worked in this abhorrent manner, it's no wonder people are so galled by this tax payer money sink. Need actual customer service to help you sort important things out? Don't count on USPS. If you're a seller, use UPS or FedEx. At least they come with automatic insurance, and you won't put yourself and your buyer through hell, especially over the holidays. read more

US Post Office - Post Offices Near Me - Exton, Pennsylvania

Service here was pretty fast even though this one patron was giving the worker a hard time insisting on a roll of twenty stamps. They tried to explain that a roll has 100 or they could buy a book. This conversation went on for about five minutes with other request by this person in between. The counter person never lost their cool or hot exasperated. Finally, he left with us twenty stamps. There are two drive-up snorkel mail boxes here which allow you to drop mail in without having to touch the mailbox - very pandemic friendly. Parking lot is a strange design and not very efficient. Watch you do not park in employee parking. read more

I use at this post office almost every day. I am grateful for the late open self KIOSK to be able to send packages on my schedule. I've never had an issue with the tellers and staff. The one issue I have, is that every time I pull up I look at the rusting structure out front and all I can think of is TETANUS!! I understand this is a federal building, but can not believe that either the city, state or fed. Is unable to buy a couple cans of paint and give this building a much needed coating. Horrible experience with whom I assume was the manager. I went in today to ship out three packages. There was one other customer with the teller next to me so it was a really slow day from what I could tell. That being said the "manager" had a horrible tone when I walked up with my packages. He didn't even let me speak before ordering me around as to what to do with my packages. I had a question and he rudely responded with im not going to do any work unless I know for sure you're going to be mailing these packages. *Why else would I be there with three heavy packages if I don't intend to ship them* He rudely asked me to write all this information on the packages them self before he would even accept any of my request. Any other place would just print all the information on a sticker and slap it in the box. Seems to me like he just didn't want to be there or do any of the work. I was able to get him to weigh the packages for me. During that time he kept rushing me to transfer each package from one counter to another counter as he weighed each one, mind you there was no other customer in line. Even after that he extremely rudely asked me in his own words "what are you going to do then I'm not doing anything else until you write the information on the boxes." At this point I had had it and I walked out taking my business to another postal delivery service UPS in Lionville. The drive was 100% worth it. I will never be going back to the USPS Exton location this interaction has cost them a valuable customer. read more

HORRIBLE. If I wasn't clear, I'll restate: HORRIBLE. It reminded me why the USPS is hemorrhaging money and loses ground daily to UPS and FedEx. The staff is a sad reminder that unions were a backbone in America. A loooong time ago. The staff is inefficient and the 3lb package cost me double. My bad for stepping into this location. CASH ONLY! Lionville Post Office cash only for postal transaction! Good to know ahead of time. I did not look around the POST OFFICE for that notice. Didn't see it. Lucky I had just enough cash. Don't get caught short. Go to a real post office. read more

This is one of the most odd post office locations I've been to; it's literally located in the circle outside the Exton Square mall (to be far, they also have a library. The people of Exton must be crazy multi-taskers!) This place is definitely fool-proof with signs everywhere! When you enter the lot you are met with your first sign, you go to the right. To drop off, you continue to follow the little road right for the mail boxes; otherwise, you go left to park. The doors are also labeled in and out; I'm not sure if they're just covering their bases or just trying to dummy proof everything! I only came for packing supplies which were directly next to the "in" entrance. It made my trip very quick! read more

Dude behind the counter was a total tool, not just to me, but the people in front of me too. No name tags, and I see why they don't print their names on the receipt l, but I see you "Clerk 09". Rude for absolutely no reason to me over something small, and then accused me of not knowing how to work a the credit card reader. And berated the poor woman in front of me because he told her to something specifically, but then said he never said that, and that she was in the wrong. Get a grip bro. read more

Why does our delivery guy always sit outside our building for 5-15 minutes yapping on his cellphone when he COULD be bringing our mail in so we could sort it? As far as the post office itself, the "do-it-yourself" shopping and machines are quite efficient, and so are the employees when the lines aren't all the way out to the front door. A few smiles from the employees might make the wait a tad more pleasant. read more

Let me say that I am nothing but friendly to all those who help me. I wouldn't ever think to leave a review for a post office, but after today's encounter (and many more previously for the past 3 years), I need to finally say that the one Indian guy working the counter is the rudest and condescending individual I've ever met. How is it EACH AND EVERY TIME I get him, he doesn't greet me nor offer the same friendly service as he does to other customers? I had incident where I was next in line for him, and as soon as he made eye contact with me and saw me take a step towards him, he walked away! The other 2 workers and I exchanged looks like well this is awkward. He then came back to his counter after seeing that I was being helped by another worker (who was pretty taken back by his behavior). I contemplated whether or not I should have raised my voice since the other 2 workers and I clearly exchanged awkward stares. Makes me wonder if he has some kind of hatred towards certain race because he is certainly very friendly to other races. Well, Jagdish (the Indian guy) - I will just think that you have had bad encounter with my race in the past, and that that explains your behavior towards me. Hands down the WORST post office I've ever stepped foot into. The cashiers act like whoever moves the slowest gets some kind of reward at the end of the day. The man behind the counter snapped at me when I didn't want to wait in line for 30+ minutes and did the self service machine and took my package to the front. But the worst was during the holidays - I was in line for 45 minutes because they actually let some lady who went and did all of her holiday shopping at the mall bring over her bags and stand at the counter while the Indian man packaged EACH ONE OF HER GIFTS SEPARATELY FOR HER in boxes etc. Oh, they were joking and having a blast - meanwhile the rest of us suffer because we have to wait for her to choose what box and tissue paper goes in every holiday present. This should have NEVER been allowed and they should have told her to move to the side, package all of her gifts and then get in line to ship. Absolutely ridiculous. read more
