I parked close. Staff were polite. I watched a customer buy a label, then apply it, and then give the employee an open box that the customer couldn't be convinced to stay and tape shut. Fenton post office is a very small branch that was opened years ago. Like many things, the population explosion/expansion has really stressed this little branch to the max. It is always busy, but has maintained the small town ambiance. They have roughly 3 stations running at all times. Friendly atmosphere in spite of the sometimes long lines. They do have an outside drop off mail box which is very convenient. read more

Service was very rude. I went in to mail 7 items (which I know is a lot) and I have never used usps to mail anything before. When I walked in I was not greeted, pretty much the workers just stared at me. then the lady that helped me didn't talk the whole time ( I was literally talking to a brick wall) she just looked at me. I have been calling for days, to find out why they're are holding my packages. I no longer live in the area, have filled out change of address forms, and still haven't gotten my mail. I filed the COD in May! It's almost July. I've called morning, noon, and night. NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE! This is unacceptable. I'm reaching out to the Postmaster General next. Update to my first review. Found out that we have a new Carrier that doesn't know that the front of our box is smaller than the back. He brought me the book and apologized. I don't fault him because he wasn't trained by the post office. I had called and talked to someone at the post office who kept telling me he would just have the book brought back to the post office. Which made me even madder because if someone sends you a package too big for our box they always deliver it to our door. He wasn't trained. He finally came back on the phone and said he called this new carrier I have and that he said he would bring it to me. The carrier was very nice. Since a new carrier started earlier this year, we have not gotten mail 2 working days in September, 2 in October and now 3 days in November. No mail today either. Not a good way to start the month. I'm not sure why we are not getting mail in our subdivision, but it's now chronic. Please remind the carrier, unless it's a Federal holiday, we expect to receive our mail. We've not received any mail since before Thanksgiving. read more

I am really grateful for the postal service and their hard working during this crazy time! I had a great experience here today and wanted to give a shout out to the postal workers; especially Amber, who helped me! I arrived with 26 medium boxes to send and I needed assistance with postage. Have you ever arrived to the post office with 26 boxes for shipment before? It was quite a scene! Thankfully, Amber was ready to assist and began working on printing labels as I kept stacking boxes on the counter. I know it must not have been easy to print so many labels all going to different addresses, but she did it so quickly and didn't seem to mind at all. She provided me friendly service and even made sure some of the addresses were correct before submitting. I know post offices are not places where you think about getting fantastic service, but I really was pleasantly surprised with my experience today. The Fenton Post Office is a joke. They were to deliver a package today but when I checked the tracking it "held at the post office at customer' request". That's a whole bunch of bull "stuff". I never made such a request and someone is falsifying tracking results to protect their rear ends and to make it look like they can deliver on time. Total dishonesty by the unethical workers in the back room, no wonder so many customers go to UPS or Fedex! Tried to pickup a package sent general delivery that showed delivered and the clerk and the supervisor said "there's nothing we can do...it hasn't been processed yet." Literally, this is the rudest U.S. Post Office, I have ever encountered. I will never return. Tried to ship an international package and the clerk was so aggravated and upset that I disrupted her day. The cost of my shipment was almost $300.00. Four days later, it was returned to my address with a note that said "city not served." So now I am out of $292.00 and my daughter won't receive her supplies. There is no refund to be had. Will report this to the Postmaster General. No wonder the U.S. government wants to privatize this organization. There is so much waste and they have never heard of the concept of customer service. This place is a joke. Half of the time they won't even deliver my packages and this has been going on long before COVID started. They are saying a package was delivered today and it wasn't.. or it was and it was stolen because half the time they don't even put the package in my mailbox.. they put it ON TOP of my mailbox on a busy road. So now my husbands anniversary gift is no where to be found and they won't do anything about it. Honestly I'm not surprised at this point. Laura, the supervisor was not very helpful today. I was looking for a package that was lost on November 18. She said if it's been that long it's lost. LaShonda, another supervisor, has been helping me and had found the package. I asked to speak to her and Laura said call back tomorrow when she will be working! Re: 9405511899561098015136 12-12-14 This is a lodged complaint by me about the postal service regarding the tracking above: A package came up missing which was reported by my carrier as being put in the mailbox. I work in my home and my computer faces out onto the street. I saw him put a package on the ground, but then I didn't know what he did with it after that as I was distracted with a call. I was waiting for a package so as soon as I could I looked for it on the porch. It wasn't there, and from my office window it didn't appear to be under the mailbox, so I assumed he put it in the box [although I thought it looked too big for the box and usually in the past he always would bring it to the porch if it didn't fit the box]. Later on a community recycling truck came by. That is the only activity I noticed all day except maybe one neighbor walking a dog. I live on a quiet and safe street and have lived here for 15 years [without incident]. Everyone knows me at the post office and I've always had good relations until the day when I went to report the missing package to the supervisor. The supervisor asked me if the package was too big for the box. This is where she really got rude with me and took on an interrogating attitude with me. She'd ask "was the package too big for the box?" [this was a package I'd never seen] ..when I'd try to explain that and she'd cut me off and say, louder, "was the package too big ..." repeating over and over the question and not letting me answer.I was amazed that this person could be a supervisor with this level of un-helpfulness, rudeness, not taking one ounce of responsibility for servicing the public and acting like an interrogator rather than trying to help a good, long-term, postal customer. The facts are that the postal worker marked the package delivered to the mailbox. The package was too big for the mailbox. The supervisor insists that then the package was delivered to the porch - end of story. And, the one thing I do know for sure is that it wasn't left on the porch. I say the package went missing because the driver left it at the street [not in the box and not on the porch] and perhaps the Christian recycling truck picked it up accidentally. Since then two things: 1) the "insurance" for the priority mail package was denied, for the reason that the tracking says it was "delivered" and 2) the postal worker won't deliver any packages any more to my address. I have to go into the post office for them! This is horrible treatment of someone who has peacefully and quietly been living in an area for over 15 years and who lives on a very quiet and save street! Cathleen LoGrasso read more
