The worst post office manager ever, a woman supposedly a manager name Ambrose was yelling a customer and not letting her talk, the customer tried to say that she have a package delivered to her mail box and the crazy employee say she have to go to another carrier and when the customer yell at her back then she gave her more nasty attitude and even threat her, so nasty and rude a person like that shouldn't be working ANYWHERE read more

Are they training the postal people now to rip people off? I just sent paperwork back to Broward County Housing Authority and they wanted to charge me $11 and something cents as a package. This is the second time they've tried to do this. A key in an envelope was just charged as a freaking package for six bucks, I don't know but this is not acceptable and this is not normal. Super long line, only one person working on a Saturday, that's just plain stupid. Go somewhere else!

All USPS locations are slow with the exception of the location on Oakland; but this one is extremely slow since there BM is only one person working the counter. They often are unable to identify verified addresses and move at a snails pace. General wait time is always at least 30-60 minutes and they are more concerned about you wearing a mask rather than doing their job. read more

2/17/2021 URGENT One star is too much for that government or private company not distributing and delivering the mail on time. Not from today with the sanitary health crisis going on but for a long long long time being a chronic huge bug since I arrived in America in 2002. I only used the post office once a year when my tenant decided not to renew the lease and I have to mail the security deposit certified but next year per sure I will select FedEx or UPS. Very seldom I go to the post office to mail other items. Good that all my bills are paid automatically on the right date either rain or shine. On 1/21/2021, I mailed a certified letter with receipt that did not yet reach the recipient who is located at the same complex where I live. Yes it a letter addressed to the management company. I could not either drop it or mail it regular because the Board won't feel obliged to reply up to 30 days. Today I took my courage and called the post office toll free number. I waited 1hr25 mins. to have someone picked up the phone and I asked to speak to the Manager Sabrina. Sabrina recorded all the topics I found wrong calling the phone line as: - recording is too long and very difficult to get a human on the phone. It is like winning the lottery or getting an appointment to get vaccinated. - the music is not easy to listen for such long period of time. It is a boring hard electric one that made a hole in my head. - 1hr25 mins. waiting time is too long and ridiculous for the post office staff to pick up the phone. No, it is not due to the virus and this is the reality. - Will use FedEx or UPS for my future mailing items where the line is non-existent and If would need to call the waiting time is much much much shorter. The Post Office is still not working at its best. I won't recommend it for my best friends. Find another option to mail/ship your stuff! read more

this people stole many packages sent to my p.o box and the manager is envolve when i caught her lying to me about the arrival one of my packages she later returned to the sender without my authorization but at the sender info shows that i did, so she did that since she couldn't keep my package and to make believe i never got it delivered there. after i report them they literally harrased me by phone. this people should not be working anywhere, so shameful the main office didn't took care of this issue like they should, becareful. read more

This is post office is in line for the worst ever. The workers here are rude and lazy. Often there will be only 1 person at the desk with a line out the door all the while you can hear many workers in the back discussing their personal lives. It is hit or miss if packages in the after hours lobby drop box will be picked up at the time specified. Drop your priority mail here and it may not leave this PO for 36-48 hrs. I have also had a couple packages go missing from this PO with the tracking dead ending here. The neighborhood is not the greatest either and it was even recommended (by a postal worker)not to post in the outside boxes as they have been known to have mail theft. I write this negative review in hope that improvements can be made here as this is my local PO and all mail in my neighborhood is processed through this facility. read more

I don't know what all these negative reviews are about, this is one of the better waiting rooms I've waited in. No chairs to sit in or magazines to read but there's nice wooden banister to lean on. A "back 2 basics" approach to the modern waiting room. Banister looked to be some kind of whittled mahogany with a sexy varnish that honestly could use a bit of a retouching. Nice climate controlled holding cell with 2 ceiling fans, although I did notice one of the light panels was off, just need to change the bulbs guys. And as a bonus, there's a lady in the back who will ship packages for you. PROS: Overall a pretty normal waiting room, you can come in and wait for as long as you like. CONS: My google maps app wasn't working right and I got kinda lost on the way over. read more

There was an error made with a package I sent to this Post Office getting scanned as "undeliverable as addressed", yet the addressee had confirmed they received it. I called this Post Office, and thought I was speaking with one of the employees, but after telling my story(in a calm manner), the person on the other end of the phone told me they were the supervisor. After they looked into this matter further, she told me she would fix the error. I'm thinking it had got accidentally scanned the wrong way when delivered. Words cannot express the appreciation I have for the supervisor showing concern for this issue, as well as her efforts in getting it resolved. read more

I wish I could give this post office less than one star. I have been coming to this location due to a recent business uplift (yay me), ONLY because of convenience. A quick 6 minute walk, 3 minute drive. I would say once or twice a week for maybe the last 5 months now, I can say I give up. They have to be the worst post office I have ever dealt with. They NEVER have more than one person working the counter. You may see another person back there but they certainly are not working the counter or willing to help out the line that's 11 people deep, and growing. You will easily be waiting in line, with two people in front of you, for a half hour- no exaggeration. DO NOT waste your time! read more

It is 4:52 pm and we still have not received mail for our business. I tried calling the post office and get a busy signal five straight times. On the sixth try, when it finally rings, no one picks up the phone and after 30 seconds or so, the line goes dead. The same thing happens again when I call back. So not only do we not get mail for the 3rd time in the last couple months, we can't even call to complain about it. read more

It's my misfortune that this location receives and delivers my mail and parcels. I have no problem with my mail carrier, but somewhere inside that post office someone does not do his job. Parcel sent through Priority Mail - 3 days from Hawaii to Oppalocka to Fort Lauderdale where it was received and sits in the location for 2 days. No delivery attempt was made. Nonetheless since I have the tracking number I went to pick up and parcel was not in the location. Next thing I know, tracking online states the parcel is sent back Oppalocka. And whoever answered the phone must have know someone screwed up again. And he tells me they will attempt to "redeliver," and I say, you mean deliver, since nothing has been delivered previously so you cannot redeliver. read more
