I went to the post office today because I had a package that was lost and I did a claim so they said i had to go in. When I got there they told me yo go talk to Thomas the supervisor. I went to go talk to him about the problem and he didn't even want to hear me out. He was sooo rude and told me he wasn't going to help me at all nor was he going to look into it. He kept looking at me up and down and I felt he discriminated me because of my appearance( I had showered and just put gym shorts and sandals and a t-shirt) but he just kept looking at me and just told me to basically go away, he wasn't going to even try to do anything about it and he slammed the window in my face. Worst customer service ever and I would even dare to say he was being racist.

Noone ever opened the counter during normal business hours.

74 review with 2.2 stars speaks volume for this USPS. Update 1/3/2023 11 am Promote "Prince" the manager to a different continent. Nobody arround and he is in his office webbing.... Update 12/27/22 1 pm Prince the manager here is besides himself and tells you he'll come out and talkes with you and NEVER DOES. The line goes to the end of the long hallway. Whould he care? 90 minutes lunch and totally hands off. This is the poorest run USPS facility you ever come across. It is so dirty, everything broken, doors shut during normal business hours. What does Prince do? Tottaly oblevious to it all. Amazon, FedEx, UPS are allowing, but here the fees go higher and the service gets diminished. None of these companies will tolerate Prince for five minutes. NONE Update on 12/28/20, 1:30 PM The door for receiving parcels are shut close, doorbell totally disabled. And no one responds to knocks. No one there.. There has not been a superintendent here for months. This facility is totally neglected. No supervisor or superintendent. Overwhelmed. I have been using this location for about 30 years and have know great many people, staff, behind the seen, tellers, supervisors and superintendents, including service window at the lobby. Mostly like family run business. However, Dana, the guy at the lobby service window has filled significantly. I hand him the pob dues two weeks before it's due with the exact amount billed, he takes the payment from me and puts back in my mail box with a hand written note that the system dies not take partial payment. On the day, I gave him the USPS issued payment envelop, he assures me that we will not close your mail box. Two weeks late I get a clouser notice email, go to the branch and pay $23 for late payment. A total of $35 out of pocket for his actions. Had I mailed the envelop in, it would have been accepted or at a minimum they would ask for any adjustment. Dana lost my trust and I dont think I'd be seeking his help anymore. At a minimum, he could have told me "sorry, I can't accept this envelop" instead of creating such undue havoc. Be aware. Totally unstable and unhelpful.

A wall of P.O. Boxes (goes around the corner in the distance, too).

I received no mail on Friday Sept. 21 2018. The people that work in the post office are not competent to handle anyone's mail.

Not a fan of the one way right turn only exit, but its a great location on the way to the 2 or 134 freeways.

Thanks to Adam Schiff, Glendale City Council, and the Glendale Historical Society for fighting to preserve this Italian Renaissance-styled landmark in 2013. It's beautiful and convenient enough for renewing our passports. The online reservation system works wonderfully, and I highly recommend it over dropping in. Even with a reservation, you may still wait for a while before having your number called. Tip: Bring a book and your patience so you don't get unhinged. People actually get cray-cray in line so again, pack your patience. We were fortunate enough to have the nice, petite Asian lady help us. She's always been wonderful. The other clerk is rough around the edges and true to the disgruntled postal worker stereotype. I know it wasn't just a bad day for her. Every time I've dealt with her in the past, she's been rude. So don't take it personally if she gets under your skin--it's just her way of customer service. There are three of us and we've renewed our passports several times at this particular location in the last 5 years. Since we have history with this USPS location, I figured it's about time to share our experience candidly.

Parking that I found was right outside on the street, however it's a little weird because if you park right in front you still have to walk around the whole bushes to get to the little ramp to walk up into the store. The planter is quite long so unless you want to walk through the full bushes then you have to go around. On entering my first impression is that the store looks haphazard and messy, but the staff helped me so quickly that I was in and out probably in less than 60 seconds so hey if they are good at what they do then I don't care how the place looks! I love being able to get in and out speedily. Of course today was a Tuesday around 11 so less foot traffic at this time.

She made me walk out to the car again to get my ID. I got my ID, and once she looked at my ID in the document, she wouldn't do the notary. Even knowing that I had such a short deadline and she assured me on the phone that she could do it. Ellen was the notary at the time, and honestly, she was kind of rude in her demeanor. I asked her, since she wasn't able to provide me help, if she knew of any other notaries in the area, and she said, "No, you can google it," in kind of a rude way. Nobody else was in the store, so it wasn't like she had anybody else to help. I definitely would never recommend anyone going back to this store. I strongly, strongly recommend somebody using another location, which I'm headed to now.

They lost over half my mail while I had it on hold for a week when I was on vacation.
