I have been going to Postal Box & Ship for almost a year now because the company I work for has their PO Box here. Mostly I am just picking up mail and packages and occasionally dropping something off for mailing (usually with the shipping label already in place). Personally I have had then make keys for me, used their notary service, and shipped a couple of packages. The price for shipping does seem a little high but I don't mind as it means I don't have to go somewhere separate to ship my item when I'm already there for work. Customer service wise, they have always been kind and accommodating to me. I'm able to bring my dog in with me when I come get the mail and they always say hello unless they are slammed with customers. They have also pulled the mail for me the few times I have forgotten my key and helped me get heavy packages out to my car. I have observed moments of snipiness with other customers but usually when it seems that something isn't understood or there is rudeness happening both ways. I know that doesn't seem ideal but they treat their repeat customers very well and are clearly hard working people. read more

Yes this is my mailing address I'm pretty happy about this place. Been here for 8 yrs now. Parking could be frustrating sometimes but it is what it is. The good thing is they finally recognize me after several years when I forget my key sometimes I don't need to show ID anymore. You can do all your mailing etc here rather then standing in line at the post office. You might pay little more but we are talking about nickel and dimes more. Service is ok. read more

I'm surprised by the negative reviews. I've had a box in this location for years. There's sometimes a line, but be patient and they they'll take great care of you and your packages. It's a small, family run business and they're always doing their best to manage multiple tasks and customers. Most importantly, all of my mail and packages have been secure and securely delivered for years. They've never made a mistake and they go out of their way to help when out of town, too. read more

I needed to send back a monitor, laptop and keyboard to my former employer in NY. I brought everything in unpackaged with the original boxes. It became quite the challenge to dissemble and fit the monitor and parts back into the shipping box. The owner and I teamed up to figure it out together. He was very patient and nice about it all. Racist. Bigoted people. They have terrible attitudes and poor customer service. The first time I came I noticed that someone of a lighter than complexion with me was being waited on hand and foot. For me, she barely batted an eyelash. I thought maybe it was in my head so I went back and again, she was working on absolutely nothing while I was waiting in front of the register waited to be serviced. I used to send packages from here all the time. I'm never going back. I had them pack and ship an order for me in 2016. The order arrived to my customer damaged - so I filed a claim. They had me running around for over a year - asking me to send them an invoice set up with just the amount owed for the damage, then the entire invoice, then the cost... I ended up sending them everything they asked for and they still never took care of the claim. I just got off the phone with the owner who now is claiming he doesn't understand the invoices that his staff had me create - one for the amount due, one for the total, He clearly had no intention of paying the claim and taking responsibility for the damaged package that they PACKED and SHIPPED for me. It's 2018 for goodness sake - we've been at this for over 1.5 years. They still haven't covered the cost of the damage and because of their mess up and then unwillingness to cover the cost of items that were supposedly insured, my business had to take the hit. This place is a total scam. Don't trust them with your stuff. read more

I searched for a place where I could get my fingerprints done today. This store says they are open till 4 p.m. on Sunday but today being the 24th of Dec I decided to call and verify. 3 times I couldn't get through past the automated voice then voicemail, however the recording said nothing about being closed and reconfirmed that they are open every Sunday till 4 p.m. It is not 2:30 p.m. and they are closed, there is NO sign indicating their holiday hours at all. Another guy also came as he understood the shop would be open. Their website also doesn't say they would be closed. read more

I went in to this business today to get a fingerprint card. This is something I had never done before. There was a youngish man with close cropped dark hair working. I showed him my registration form and asked him if he could do the fingerprint card. He threw the forms back at me and said they were no good. I asked what was needed and he said he would give me a card to fill out. I started to fill it out and came to a box that said "residence," not "address." I started to ask if that meant US residence or my street address but he interrupted me and abruptly said "residence." I again tried to ask my question and he interrupted me again and said more loudly and aggressively, "residence." I asked him why he was being mean when I was just asking for help. He grabbed the card, threw it way and told me if I was going to accuse him of being mean he would not help me. He then turned and ignored me. I see there are many other complaints. This guy needs to be fired. He must be related to the owner. I can think of no other reason he is still working there. Too many other good choices to ever go back to this place. read more

This is my second time using this place for LiveScan and I both times have been very good. This last time, I went in on a Sunday and had to do a LiveScan last minute for an agency renewal. They took care of it so fast that Monday morning the agency had called to let me know they had received the report already. Great service and I'll definitely go back for future needs. read more

I'm not sure why all the negative reviews. I come to this Mail Boxes Etc a couple of time a month to ship packages to my daughter who lives abroad. The staff is always friendly and attentive. I've been coming here for years. Today I walked in ready to ship a return item to Amazon. I needed about 5 inches of tape for the return label. In the past, whoever was behind the counter was nice and helped me. They recognized me as an old time customer. The guy who was there today (May 18), although he'd seen me before, refused to give me a few inches of tape. And he was not nice about it. Therefore, I'll take my business somewhere else. Way to go to treat a customer of 10 years! So, I spent over $50 getting escrow papers notarized and then sent via USPS, Certified. Mind you, this envelope was only going to Long Beach so it should have been delivered the next day. NOPE! One week later, after I had been tracking it's progress every day with no success on the USPS website (you might want to inquire why you can no longer track the activity of a Certified letter anymore), I finally get a notification that the addressee had moved and left no forwarding address. NOT POSSIBLE. The addressee, escrow company, has been there for years. Now, my package is "lost." No one can locate it, not even USPS. And, to make matters worse, the old grey-haired guy told me there was nothing he could do. Didn't even try! Didn't seem to care. Had a crappy attitude. I had to ask him to look up the tracking number, which he reluctantly did. The only thing he did tell me was that in his experience, when letters and packages get lost, they're gone forever. Thanks, dude. You are so fucking helpful. So, now I'm out $50 for their "services," all the notarized and official escrow papers (which, BTW, have my SS# on them, and might see my real estate deal fall through (a $700 K deal). Beware of this place. I recently sent some legal documents via DHL to Japan. They charged me $71 which I thought was rather expensive. I paid and went home. After checking the DHL website, I found out they over-charged me. I called them and the girl insisted she was right. I emailed them the website link and called them back and the supervisor admitted that it was their mistake and refunded to my credit card. This place sucks, they make you put your own packing slip on and since u don't have tape in your pockets at all times they make u buy their tape. They also do not give you tracking receipt or any proof u dropped the package off their. Never coming here again. I'll stick to the original UPS store. read more

I go to this place all the time to pack my very fragile artwork. They have helped me ship pieces all over the country and even to France, and everything has arrived safely. The customer in France specifically said how carefully it was packed, he was impressed! They are really friendly and always helpful.
