I requested to have my package intercepted here. Went in before work and they told me it wasn't there and was at another post office 5 min away. They didn't even check for my package! I go to the other post office and turns out my package was at the original location. The manager did not take accountability for his error. He didn't even check for my package initially. This is the definition of a pretty okay post office. I find that the location is great, right on Pacific, above Glenoaks, and a short drive or a medium-ish walk away. As others have noted, there is only street parking, and very little of it. there's space for four, possibly five short cars right up front in a green loading only area, but even after circling three times, a space did not open up, and I had to block a bit up the way on Glenoaks. The parking lot behind and adjacent are explicit about not being usps parking, and one seems to be a paid lot with a $5 fee to exit, oof! Upon arrival, I saw one man waiting in front of me with no clerks to be seen, and I could overhear one man over in the mailbox area griping about the vaccines, how someone had died of it, how someone else had gotten really sick, how ineffective they were, etc. etc. when I realized that there was a postal employee over there just listening and kind of hanging out with him. At some point he headed over and helped the man in front of me, and seconds later, a lady appeared and assisted me. This lady was pretty efficient, but pretty rude about it, which is fine. She complained that my packaging wasn't tight, and kept flicking at the loose untaped-down edges with her hands, and I apologetically asked to borrow/buy tape, and she told me to select the yes/no regarding liquids, and I accidentally chose "yes" because I didn't read it correctly and was just answering in the affirmative, it's all good, not, "it's not not all good" and she snapped at me, and when I tried to slide my card she snapped at me that it wasn't time yet and she was still weighing my package, and when I saw that three different selections came up for pricing/timing, I tried to look at the screen and she snapped that it was all the same. Anyhoo, again, all par for the course. She taped up my package and gave me a receipt and circled the tracking number and I thank you'ed and bowed and apologized for my existence, but completed the transaction, which is all that really matters. read more

United States Postage went up in prices. A regular envelope is fifty-cents. Blame inflation. I am. Well, If you have old postage stamps, do note that USPS does not conduct trade-ins anymore... However, you can purchase postage for the owning balance or double-up on that old postage. Or just purchase new postage to have on hand for that occasional envelope. read more

This has been the regular post office for my family and I for the past 20 years. They used to have so many nice employees who had been there for a long time but they all left and all these new people are extremely rude, uninterested in their job, and lacking basic knowledge. Today's situation was something that I had to write a review. I go in, the girl is sitting in her chair and not even trying to move. She seems super uninterested and miserable. I was doing a return with a prepaid return label and I asked if she had tape and she goes we don't provide tape for returns. Dude, how much is a piece of tape? She was so comfortable in that chair that she didn't even want to move and barely extended one arm to get my box. Horrible customer service. read more

Once you get past the zero availability when it comes to parking, the long line that always exists you at least hope to receive help and be treated politely. NOT! This particular Post Office is the only one I have been to that has lost my packages, even with a tracking number they had no clue. The clerks at this location are so rude to anyone having any issue, I have experienced it myself and seen others have very frustrating experience. The cherry on top, this location has refused to give me a receipt when dropping off prepaid packages. I was told that "The US Post office no longer gives receipts for tracking." Since I have been to two other locations, and they have without question printed a receipt upon drop off of prepaid packages. Leaves me to question if it was laziness or discrimination which had the clerk lie to me and go so far as to write on a Post-It her superiors number for follow-up. I will be reporting this incident to the US Post Master! read more

Very bad experience here. My coworker and I were waiting in line and this man comes in yelling for service in Armenian. The clerk looks at him and say says something back in Armenian. Then the clerk Edmond stops and helps him right away. Excuse me Edmond you have a line of patient customers and it isn't fair that just because he comes in being rude you serve him first. I don't know why people are always shitting on the post office For 50 cents they will send a letter ANYWHERE in the fucking United States. ANYWHERE. Yeah, I get their package delivery isn't as fast or whatever as UPS or Fed Ex but guess what, it's also cheaper. Anyway, this branch has great service, and the line moves fast most days. No complaints. There's usually street parking. If not, there's a parking lot next door for a Mail Boxes Etc or something like that. I mean, that's kind of like the post office, right? Besides the parking that was horrible, the manager ( Frank ) was really rude. I was waiting in the line and watching how he was talking to his co worker. He wasn't polite and professional at all.
