I haven't been getting my mail. I called and the rep was professional and helpful.im not overly impressed by post office generally.

There is free parking in front for 15 minutes and also alongside the building and no panhandlers accosted me though they frequent the area so there's no guarantee they won't on the future. There was no wait but service was ho hum. I said I wanted a receipt but the clerk didn't remember and asked a minute later if I did and seemed jaded. But my change was accurate. Not a bad Post Office, but not one of the best. I find that the lines here for assistance at the counter are consistently present, but at least they move forward at a reasonable pace. The employees are unable to move as quickly as possible, due to the fact that they are constantly taking stuff back to another area, or having to get something from another section in the front. I feel that they could significantly speed up their processes if they had a big bin for outgoing packages (like other post offices) and had everything else they need at their fingertips. There is one excellent postal worker here, however. She usually works on the right hand side (I forget her name!). She's always so polite and outright friendly. Another worker is deaf-- she usually has a sign out telling people this-- so be sure and speak slowly and clearly, as she reads lips. Reasonable wait time, 15 minutes or less, to get in and out if you have some business to do at the counter. read more

Today I stopped in at this Post Office branch to check on some prices for some packages that I needed to send out. When I arrived it was 5 minutes before they closed, and I thought that they would be upset with my late arrive. I was completely wrong! The employee who helped me out was completely kind and made an effort not to rush me. I was pleasantly surprised because I have had different experiences at some other local Post Offices. read more

Good heavens, it'd never occur to me to have reviewed the Post Office, but sure. I have a personal PO box here, and I get the mail for my workplace across the street, so I'm here often. Even during holiday rushes, the workers are always courteous and efficient, the place is always clean, and I get what I ask for without any trouble. What keeps the 4th star away are niggling things. Families filing passport applications takes up one line, and for a long time, and you'd think that'd be the point where a third worker would come in to do the desk, because people back up something fierce then. A couple things like that. read more

FORGET FORWARDING The Greenfield PO is much inferior to the one in the town I moved from last fall. The previous one was both friendly and competent. First, the Greenfield PO repeatedly lost my forwarding notices, even when I took these to the PO in person, and received a confirmation from the USPS. Second, the supposed Post Master, Eric, refused to recognize my address until I went through a lot of effort to prove it to him. Third, the mail (including Netflix) come a day or more late. read more

This Post Office is a true gem! I was waited on by a gentleman named David who treated me as if my transaction was the most important task he would complete today. My mom is elderly and he patiently advised us on all our options for mailing our package to California. We were concerned about insurance and he broke down our choices and suggested Priority mail with extra insurance which we chose. I generally mail through work but my mom convinced me to stop in with her and I'm glad I did. She has been going here for quite some time even though it is out of her way and when we left she smiled and said I told you he was great and so is most of the others. You sold me! Thanks! L. I mailed 300 packages from this post office last year and not one went missing. This Christmas I did have an envelope(with gift cards) sent to NJ go missing but believe this was on the NJ end of the line- I am still searching for the answer... This post office is superb!! read more
