    We all know post offices across the country are struggling during the pandemic. This one is no…read moreexception. I go here several days per week because I began selling items online during 2020. Most days there are only two people working, occasionally three if you're lucky. I would say my average wait time is 10 in line. During the holidays it was a nightmare to get packages mailed & I waited between 20 and FIFTY minutes in line. They said in December 2020 that they had some employees out with COVID. They do have stickers on the floor for social distancing and just last week they began providing hand sanitizer at each employee window. They have plexiglass dividers between employee & customer. In November and December I noticed several employees wearing masks under their nose incorrectly which I found annoying. Most people on the front counter are wearing them correctly, but occasionally someone comes out of the back to assist and has a mask under their nose but this is much more infrequent now that we are in January/February. Most of the employees are friendly. One of my biggest annoyances was when their self-service machine broke and I was waiting in line for 20 minutes and the employee told me that it was fixed but no one had tested it yet and I asked if I should test it and she said "be my guest". I thought that she would wait to make sure that the machine worked, but she immediately disappeared behind a closed door and I got out of line and tried it and of course it was still broken! So I lost my place in line after 20 minutes and now the line was three times as long, and luckily a gentleman in the middle of the line let me get in front of him. If you are mailing a priority mail package it helps if you go inside and get a receipt if you want it to start tracking within a few hours. If you put it into the metal dropbox a lot of times even if you drop something off at 10 AM in the morning it will not get scanned and start tracking until perhaps even the next morning. Sometimes if I drop something pre-paid priority off before noon it begins tracking immediately as long as I have taken it inside and gotten a receipt. Items go from this post office in Cranberry Township, onto the main post office in Warrendale, before heading to further destinations. Priority mailing supplies are now restocked as of February 1, 2021, but these were scarce in the summer through fall. The parking lot is not very large, and during the holidays it was so crowded that I had to park down in the next business location and walk up. Also the mailboxes do not have a passing lane for people who are mailing letters from their car, and this creates a back up at times although you can exit the opposite direction at the traffic light. They also do passports at this location. Hours are M-F 8:30am to 6pm and Saturday 8:30am-1:00pm, CLOSED SUNDAY.

In just a few moments, my order was printed. It came out beautifully! I am very pleased. In addition to printing, they also do boxing up and shipping your items and packages.

I have never been in a more uncomfortable environment in my life working at this store. I was the only black person working in the store and I have never been in that type of situation, I was also told by numerous people that the black employees at this location never last so that made me uncomfortable from the start. To start off A few coworkers (Nar Brant Kevin and Julia) were rude and snarky I honestly don't know how or why they work in customer service. Some of the interactions Ive witnessed them having with customers was unprofessional and at times I sympathized with some customers because I saw how Julia treated them. Their attitudes towards me was worse from just being rude and belittling for no reason being talked to in a condescending manner from the first day I started, Julia said " I have to talk to you and be a b*tch towards you thats the only way you would learn". I was also approached almost daily by Brant and Nar with these "black guy" stories and i don't know if it was meant to make me feel more comfortable or to assure me they have connections with black people but that made me feel super uncomfortable but i would smile just let out a nervous laugh and walk off. It was also time when my belongings were being examined while I wasn't there i couldnt even say to much because I would be deemed as defensive or aggressive which I felt as if I was being labeled .there were days where I felt isolated and stayed to myself because of the energy of just feeling unwanted. I was terminated for violating the attendance policy, which doesn't allow any grace period the days I was late I was literally off by 3/4 mins but I was also told that if I didn't get fired for that it was going to be something else seems as if they just wanted me gone I file for an appeal but I dropped it and decided to start something fresh with a more inviting environment
