I could feel the coziness when I entered the office, and everything looked in order. Soon I realized why the place is appealing and pleasant to visitors. Very professional, polite, and friendly staff are the backbone of every good memory you bring back with you after your job is accomplished. A gentleman who introduced himself when I asked his name as Anthony Brooks was handling all the visitors' jobs unilaterally. He was describing every single point a visitor may need to know before even they attempt to ask and was checking all documents and their contents with optimum precision and reminding them whatever needed to be added or changed. To provide a perfect job for every visitor, he had to go to the back part of their station and come back with the solution to satisfy the customers' requirements best. My job didn't take much time. However, I witnessed when he was handling other two customers' inquiries who had similar jobs ahead of me. I thought it was my commitment to let him and all dedicated individuals like him know that their devotion to their work and responsibilities are recognized. Let them know that their patience while handling customers with optimal care and respect and going above and beyond to make the jobs being carried as memorable pieces of art is getting noticed and admired. We all need to appreciate and recognize our community service providers in any positions they might serve the public. They are our community assets.

I have lived in Purcellville for 6 years. In that time I have held my mail about 30 times. It has…read moreonly been done properly twice. I cannot get the mail held. Mail is left in my mail box many times with the door open only to be ruined by rain when I return. I also cannot get it restarted even after going in person and tell them to do so verbally. There is no one to answer the local phone number even though it is supposed to be manned from 8:30-5. There is no voice mail so it requires multiple in person visits to get things back on track. Many times I am told I simply have no mail but after going in three days in a row to recheck, a manager will come out with a whole box of mail and claim they don't know where it came from. They keep blaming temporary workers but even the workers that have been there for 6 years don't seem to care or know what they are doing. My last post office was nothing like this.
