Heather the supervisor for the Havertown pa post office is pretty cool and professional. I am having an issue regarding finding my package that was mailed to a customer and she was helping me out and navigating the hectic and busy environment that was taking place in the background. I want to say how much we absolutely love our mail carrier Patti!! She is the best mail carrier we have had ever at our business in all the years we have been in business which is 21 years. We have had so many different carriers over the years and she has the BEST personality!! She is so prompt and answers any questions we have. She helps us to understand the differences in our return mail that we don't understand and the little things we need to know when mailing certain things out. Shes so knowledgeable about her job. The entire building here loves her from the other businesses as we have mentioned to each other how we like her. We always can count on her at the same time to be here so we know when to have our mail ready. She never mixes up any mail like other carriers have. She has shared the personal touches from her homes she delivers too with very quick info on how much she enjoys her route and the personal touch she has with the homes and very quick cute stories of the people. You can tell she enjoys the route and her customers. I hope that she gets recognized for the great job she does and the great personality she brings to the office when she stops in. You have a quick, knowledgeable, very kind bubbly, fun, personable (which is is important), professional employee that I really wanted to make sure to recognize for her very hard work. Others could lead by her example of what matters to your customers. The one thing I forgot to mention that has been important to our office is that even though we dont have mail for the day she always stops by to see if we have outgoing mail. Old offices before wouldn't do that and its important to us as we will have outgoing mail that cant sit here if someone skips coming in when we don't have mail. So the fact that Patti does that is actually important and stands out to us. We want to thank Patti for her little things that matter and the personal touch she brings to her customers. read more

I like this post office because I can go after hours now that the post offices around me close so early. They have a self serve machine where you can weigh your package and buy postage right from the machine. You can even buy stamps from the machine. I like to go around 7PM, to mail my packages. You just answer the questions on the screen and follow the directions. Nice and easy, I pay my postage and place my package in the slot. read more

I run a small business and need to drop off packages. I only go there because it's the closest to where I live and because their lobby is open 24/7. The staff there almost NEVER empties the collection box. It is almost always full. One of the customer went to ask them "why the collection box isn't opening". Their answer was "it's full! That's why you can't open it." Did not attempt to empty it or come out to assist. I mean the audacity!!!!!!! What kind of postal office won't empty the collection box. It defeats the point of having one. Even when asked, they don't care to empty it. Like what kind of employees work here. Absolutely disgusted !! read more

Updating my 2019 review. We had an excellent mailman for years. In the last couple years we have one that almost every week delivers other people's mail to us. I have to assume that other people get our mail. I did end up missing a credit card bill, and had to call the card company to pay it. I have to deliver the mail to the neighbors on various streets, but now I just take it to the post office. Despite numerous complaints from me and other neighbors, she is still on our route becuase she has "seniority." She is backed up by the union despite complaints, and I am told that the list of complaints "resets" every few months and the old complaints disappear. I hate being powerless and being a victim of this woman. read more

When I visit this place I find myself contemplating double root canals with no pain killer while simultaneously having a severe attack of food poisoning. This place is crazy busy and the parking situation is ridiculous. You have cars with angry drivers waiting out in the street jamming up traffic. Once you get inside, with your blood pressure already doubled, you find long slow lines. On the good side, when you finally get to the counter, assuming you haven't gone "Postal" with frustration, I've found the employees to be friendly and competent. read more

I want to know what the post offices policy on mail carriers smoking in their delivery vehicles, yesterday I received a package with my prescription from the pharmacy and the stale smell of cigarettes was nauseating to say the least. The post office is a post office. The employees are much better than Bywood location miserables. Honestly let's say what the real problem is w this location the idiots who can't park or back their cars out of the spots in the parking lot. It's not the parking lot it's the idiots who can't back up or park. I frequent here often. I also utilize the package drop box after hours that is a huge life saver for me. read more

Post office listed item as out for delivery. Item was then marked as attempted. No physical proof of attempt left, home security cameras also show no carriers ever came to the door. So it does seem as though this post office will falsify information to avoid a failure of service. read more

There are two ways in which I (and many) interact with the post office: the window clerks (going into the PO) and mail delivery (supported by those sorting mail at the facility). I can not say enough good things about the window clerks at this branch. Every one of the clerks I have interacted with is efficient, friendly, and helpful, on both the craziest and most mundane days. I might ding the facility a half star for the fact that I have gotten various neighbor's mail several times a year, but it's no big hassle, and helped me learn my neighbors' last names! A bonus: this PO offers cash back on debit card purchases, so no need to go to the ATM after :) read more

We live about one mile from the post office yet our mail isn't delivered until between 5-5:30. This is very frustrating when you receive and important piece of mail and cannot call until the next business day. Or if you receive a check and have to wait until the next day to deposit. it. Yes, I have direct deposit but there are situations when you only get a check in the mail. I don't get it! When my regular post man is on vacation, we get our mail before noon!! This is the worst post office in the united States with poor and late mail delivery, poor follow-up after vacation for mail delivery, and the rudest post mistress with a bad and nasty attitude. She actually screams at customers over the phone and then slams the phone down to end the call (Patricia is her first name). She needs to be disciplined by her superiors, retrained, and/or demoted. She sets a very poor example for all of the postal employees. How did she even get a position of responsibility if she behaves like this. This whole post office should be reorganized- at present it is totally incompetent and not user friendly to the taxpayers. Please if you have a negative experience, report them to your US senators and congressmen. read more

I just called because of the wrong zip a package was routed here. The woman on the phone was horrible - I was yelled at for giving a tracking number too fast. When I asked when the package would be redirected to the right address I'm snapped at with vague excuses and when I persisted just trying to get some kind of specifics I'm yelled at more. When I called her on her rudeness I was told I was "pushy"! Pushy? For trying to get info on MY package???? If you can go to any other post office do it. This one is clearly poorly run judging by this and other reviews. read more

This Post Office deserves no stars! My husband and I relocated over 30 days ago and we still have not received any forwarded mail after multiple phone calls. We got no real answers and different excuses depending on who we talked to. The attitudes of each person was beyond poor. When I asked to speak with the Postmaster, I was denied this request. The only thing positive about this experience is that we never have to visit the Havertown Post Office again!!! read more

I moved to this address over 5 years ago and my ancient mailman who must have been delivering this mail route for eons began giving me my neighbors mail and vice-versa. He also continued delivering mail from the previous home owner, who he must have known had moved out. This has gone on for 5+ years! The previous owner ran a business from the address and I recently found reference to my owning the business in my credit report. I do not know why this would be placed in my credit report but it was. When I began putting the mail back in my box marked return to sender the crazy mail man told me not to because the Havertown post office will only throw it away. Talk about lazy. read more
