Within a few months of purchasing our first home, our copper pipes in the basement started failing…read moreone by one. I called five different plumbers seeking help, but no one returned my calls. I finally reached out to Cota & Cota, seeing that they offered plumbing services. They said they typically only provided those services to gas customers (we were buying from Bob's), but I told them we were desperate, so they agreed to help. They showed up within 24 hours every time I called (which was at least five times over one summer) to get patch work done. Eventually, we decided on doing a full pipe replacement. They completed that work in 48 hours, and they did so despite a low electrical current running through the pipes thanks to dome DIY wiring the previous owners did and decided not to tell us about. We still need a new filtration system to reduce the acidity of our well water, but we now have functional pipes (mostly plastic). As far as I'm concerned, this company saved our home, and we are forever grateful.

On the drop off they had to maneuver on my steep and slanted driveway and ended up having to bring in a wrecker to get it off the driveway. Packing the trailer shifted how the weight worked. On the backend of the job they had to work around some low hanging cables and ended up putting minor divots into my grass. The driver insisted on filling the holes before leaving. We have a maintenance man so I insisted that he didn't have to do that. At any rate both drivers were great and all of my belongings made it to the new place unharmed. Because we were about 2 doors down from the worksite we were around a lot. I have to say everyone on the crew was a pleasure to be around. Because this level of project is new to us I think I was pretty anxious a lot of the time but Erich was always helpful and easy to get along with. I feel very lucky to have been able to hire them. The idea that the materials are being reused, the savings over straight demolition and the potential tax savings are really the icing on the cake to what was a great experience overall. Deconstruction Works also did some side work not originally contracted such as cleaning up the place. The work was done at a very fair rate and the project was finished ahead of schedule and on budget. This may sound weird but I will actually miss the Deconstruction Works crew. So fast, so professional, so good at what they do, and enjoyable to be around, oh yeah, and they saved us money too.
