The person behind the counter was kind, informative and efficient. The postal service is undoubtedly an American treasure. Witnessing the breaking down of it, the cuts to service in particular, has been very hard. I feel mostly for our seniors and anyone living rural who depends on it. Nothing last forever for sure, if that includes the postal service it will also include the system that is trying to break it.

The place sometimes has three trucks outside, (FED EX, UPS and DHL) and it gets very busy before and after holidays.They work hard, are very professional and super nice We live in a remote part of southern Vermont, rely on amazon for essentials, and they have the only drop off point for miles around. They provide shipping or packing services and when I use them, i had nothing ever broken or delayed. I have used their services for years, and I would rue the day if they ever decide to close. I recommend them without qualification. This is exactly the type of business you want in your own town.

I said "Ok...so do you not want my business?" No response. I would say I was surprised but I really am not-- this place is completely unprofessional. I would have easily altered my original review if they would have done it right and with any sort of ethics this time. Stay far away. Changing my 3 stars to 1. 10/13/15-- Really disappointed I was charged $15 for sending in a word doc rather than PDF. A simple call or email asking for me to send in something different would have been great. I understand that it was my error, but customer service goes a long way. At 2 p.m. today, Tasha at the Concord NH office handled my changes and -- like her co-workers of past years -- she was professional and patient as I searched for the myriad of info needed to ensure I was who I said I was. It did take about 5 minutes on hold to reach her and, b/c of the amount of info needed, this was a second call with wait times to speak to a rep from 5 to 10 minutes at 2 pm. The frustration with SS stems from the amount of info needed to verify one's identity but, unlike other agencies, SS provides a live representative and does not insist you go online with such personal info. The ants returned, (we kept the area very clean, and empty) within four days. We called Paul's answering service, he returned our call two evenings later, and rudely told us, that it's not his fault. Of course, he got his money and that is all that matters to him.
