To top it off, the business hours at this branch is super short, and probably not convenient for the average customer. Sometimes I wonder why they bother to keep this post office location in Aina Haina open, after all, the Monday thru Friday business hours are from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM (so basically they are only opened for 5 hours per day during the weekday). Now here's the topper.........for the weekend - Saturday, the Aina Haina location is opened from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM (open for just 2 hours on Saturday). I sometimes wonder why even bother to open at all for these very short hours? Go figure? I won't even comment on the customer service here, as you can just read the other fellow Yelpers reviews posted here. Lol! Let Bruddah Fran give you a tip! Best bet is to use the Kahala, or Hawaii Kai post office if you're in the general area.

The reviews warned everyone that it's a cozy place... yes, they're correct! As soon as I was organized enough, I drove over and parked in the paid parking lot behind the building since the metered street parking was full. The reviews warned everyone that it's a cozy place... yes, they're correct! There were two female clerks. Each of them was helping a customer... not bad! There are long lines at other post offices! Soon, it was my turn! The helpful, polite clerk was very efficient and explained everything as she went through my pile. Thank you very much for telling me that my friends should receive the mail by December 24th! Whew! Just made it!

Almost all if they had the self serve kiosk I'd be a regular at this Kaimuki location where it's almost hidden amongst the many biz it's surrounded by which is very easy to miss but with the OG blue mailbox that's placed right outside it does give the nostalgia of the days we mailed our seasonal items. With that I did need to send a box to a friend and needed a box which of course they have besides the generic I love the priority mail box packaging with the flat rate makes it easy to put whatever you need which was there for me along with the prices of what each box are. Right beside that they do have a area where you're able to pack/write or do whatever you need all nice and clean where I noticed a buck of flowers and noticed that they were pens...lol! regular ballpoint and sharpies as well that was a lovely touch to have but there was one thing that I did forget...tape...sigh! There was no line at all and I could've shipped my items but one little major bump in plans that made me frustrated but know that I have a convenient spot outside of the busy locations is here and love that it's a local residential spot. The parking lot is right there; and there are more spaces across the street! My visit was on a Thursday afternoon. I was on my way home when I realized that I had an envelope to mail. I took the far left lane and passed everyone waiting in traffic in the next lane. Sorry! Parking was free and easy! I could have stayed in the car and dropped my envelope in the curbside receptacle at the exit, but i wanted to go in and look around. The self-service kiosk comes in handy when you are the Do It Yourself kind of person or come after hours. There were free boxes and envelopes in the corner - ready for mailing! The greeting cards and office supplies were further inside of this post office. Overall, this post office is practical, clean, and spacious. It gets the job done!

Although the airport location ss is not a regular stop for me (as I normally go to the Kahala location), I do find the airport postal location to clean, service is pretty efficient, and there are a lot of available free postal supplies which you can help yourself to. There is also a self serve kiosk available, if you choose not to wait in the regular line. Parking here easy, as there is a very large private parking lot for this US Post Office location at the airport.

Rabbit Rabbit will be closing on 12.20.25, but Kaiten Sushi Ginza Onodera is still there. Note the unusual hours of this post office: Monday to Friday from 11:30am to 4pm.
