I've been coming to this post office for over 30 years back when it was on Century, then Airport, and now at its current location on Aviation. Through all those moves, one thing has remained the same: the kindness and consistency of the staff. They've helped me out countless times--especially with packaging up my books and making sure I get the best rate possible. They go above and beyond, and I've noticed something: even when people are rude (and I've seen it), the team still responds with professionalism and patience. You show them kindness, and they'll reflect it right back at you. Special shout-out to Kiki and the entire crew at the counter. They've always greeted me with a smile and made the process smooth. And if you show up early in the morning and hit the buzzer for package pickup, you'll catch a little vibe--they've got the music going in the back, setting a good tone for the day. My mother-in-law sent a birthday package to her son from Italy, ensuring it would arrive before November. However, my husband waited, and nothing arrived. Upon checking, the tracking information showed that it had been delivered, but to the wrong address-- a large box! The post office claimed they had retrieved the package and placed it in the "back" area, and my husband was told he could pick it up. When he arrived, the package was no longer there. Only certain employees have access to the "back room." One employee, named CHRISTIAN, told my husband to sign a receipt acknowledging the package had been received and promised it would be delivered the next day. My husband complied, but, of course, the package never arrived. Makes me question if Christian knows what happened to the package or took advantage of my Husband's anxious attempt to get his package to sign off any fault. This all happened on November 7th. Since then, we've been calling, visiting, and emailing everyone I could find in hopes of resolving the issue, but nothing has worked. The manager, Shanice Adams, did attempt to help, but in the end, there was no resolution. She issued a letter accepting fault, but I can never reach anyone for follow-up. At this point, we have no choice but to visit our local Post Office, but I am deeply disappointed in the service we've received in Inglewood. These kinds of issues highlight the broader geographical disparities and inequalities that certain areas suffer from, and unfortunately, our local Post Office seems to be the worst example of this. I asked if I can print from their desktops, and I was told printing can only be done on the printer behind the counter. I told the rep twice that the 31 page document needs to be printed on front and back, and she proceeds to print it out on one sheet, and then said "that option is not available" after the job was halfway done. She then charged me for 31 pages when that's not what was requested (it was supposed to be 15-16). My goal was to have it like a workbook like it was intended, and now I can't even staple it together cause it's twice the size and too thick. The other document was two pages and she only printed one page and said my USB only has one sheet. I was confused since I knew it was two pages, but she insisted that there's only one page on the document. I get home and lo and behold, it's a two paged document as I thought.
