A simple print job was complicated and I was overcharged. I needed to print two documents; one was a 31 page workbook for class, and the other was a two page document. I asked if I can print from their desktops, and I was told printing can only be done on the printer behind the counter. I told the rep twice that the 31 page document needs to be printed on front and back, and she proceeds to print it out on one sheet, and then said "that option is not available" after the job was halfway done. She then charged me for 31 pages when that's not what was requested (it was supposed to be 15-16). My goal was to have it like a workbook like it was intended, and now I can't even staple it together cause it's twice the size and too thick. The other document was two pages and she only printed one page and said my USB only has one sheet. I was confused since I knew it was two pages, but she insisted that there's only one page on the document. I get home and lo and behold, it's a two paged document as I thought. I like that this place is local, but I find that it's always some type of complication whenever I come here. read more

The woman who is mostly there running it (a heavy set African woman with glasses older) can act sort of peculiar she will stand over you at the counter and stare while you fill out papers like if you have a quite a few papers to fill out and or read ...instead of her stepping away and let you have your time she will awkwardly hover over you staring while you complete your business and on top of that she is nosy she will read your printout materials that have nothing to do with her ! and then comment on your business...who dies this ???...i frequent it because it's close and convenient, but I like Miss Ingram and get daughter better service wise ...this other woman tries to hard she just need not try so hard she is nice ok however it comes off as awkward and uncomfortable at times read more

You have to hit a buzzer to get in. Not sure the reasoning for that. I wanted to mail out some packages but didn't know how much it would be. A women told me she'd be right with me while she helped her prior customer. I thought it wouldn't be long or maybe it was that I was in a slight of a rush that seemed forever. I tried to be patient and look to my phone to make time go by but I noticed that a little over 5 minutes had past and they were having a personal conversation. I decided to leave. As I was walking out the door was locked of course and the lady had to buzz me out and I had to tell her can you please unlock the door. Talk about annoying hand embarrassing ! read more

1st time visiting, needing an important scan for college, I have a service dog and (who I assume) is the owner seemed extremely frightened. He was sitting calm at my feet, unseeable from her side of the counter. Her husband as I assume told her before she came out. I understand fears, but treating me like I'm diseased while you stand all far and stare him down doesn't help the environment feel safe. All this resulted in me; 2.5 hrs later without my scan that should have been emailed right away. She asked me to leave my SERVICE DOG outside tided up like some I untrained pet. He is medical equipment and that's illegal. More help in your office is ideal, and a big sign that says CASH ONLY. I didn't get a receipt and now you seem to have scanned me $1.10. The Office is very professional and welcoming. I have been a customer of theirs for about 5 years now. I think they are celebrating their 10 year anniversary this year? So nice to see that black owned family businesses are still hanging tuff on La Brea. Truly a 5 establishment. read more

Exceptional service, with free popcorn and coffee for patrons. The owner guided me through the Fedex shipping return process for my package and even provided great suggestions that I totally overlooked. They have a small parking lot in the back of the building, so if you have a large load to ship request help from the super friendly staff. You can also park on the residential street, which has plenty of space. Will definitely come back for my Fedex shipping needs. read more

Came in to fax a packet of documents. Filled out the cover sheet and provided my email address so she can forward me a receipt. The following day the party that was supposed to receive the documents informed me that they hadn't received anything. Went through my email and there was no receipt for the fax. I came back into The Office to address the issue. I showed the lady working there my email mailbox under "all mail" that showed no receipt for the fax or confirmation email. She wanted to charge me to send the fax again. I live in the neighborhood and wanted to support this small business, but had to take my business down to FedEX Office. Sending a fax cost nothing to THE OFFICE. I'm out the $6 they charged me to send nothing but I'm going to be admit it was my fault. I should've asked for a fax confirmation print out before I left the establishment. read more

Ingram is a nice owner but there were 3 reasons she gets 1 star. 1. It took an hour to get 2 small packages ready with no other customers but myself. 2. After waiting an hour, then she tells me she doesn't take cards, cash only. 3. Just got a bill from FedEx charging me more because she didn't ring it up right. I wanted to support local businesses but I feel scammed. read more
