Came here to inquire something and the staffs here are pretty nice. This is just a small location but where packed with the essentials that you all need in a post office. Anyhow, the service quality is pretty good and is definitely something that is so convenient. Two parking is available on the front for a 15mins. errands which I find it so convenient. I just want to say thank you to Bill at the Leominster, MA. Post Office. I had been expecting a package, I had signed up for the notifications, the package finally left the Hartford CT facility after sitting there for 10 days, was on it's way to here 12/21/20, I got the notice 12/22/20 at 9:00AM it was out for delivery...yay! At around 4:15PM I get a notification that, there is no such address and the package was returned to sender(nooooooo). I called right away, told Bill the story, he checked and said no scan of it going back, let me check. The person he needed to talk to, to find out where it was, was on break and he'd call me back. 10 minutes later he did, the package was still there (sigh of relief), he took my correct address and said he'd get it right out. (me)Tonight?, (Bill) Yes! (me) I told him no no, it's almost 5:00, it can wait until tomorrow!! (Bill) are you sure, (me) Yes, of course, it's there, safe and can wait. He said ok, I thanked him and we hung up. Not 10 minutes later, I got the last notification, Your item was delivered at the front door or porch at 4:57 pm on December 22, 2020! We moved to Leominster at the beginning of November, and had set up mail forwarding. Six weeks went by without any mail. I submitted two help tickets on the usps website and whoever I spoke to both times said I had set it up correctly and had no idea where all of our mail went. We were waiting on checks and other very time-sensitive documents. Finally in week 7 we got a letter from the post office saying that they have a new policy that when a house changes hands you have to put out a sidewalk mailbox and they've been holding my mail until we install one. I went down to the Leominster office and spoke to a manager to find out why on earth they waited so long to tell us. He had no answer. I said the ground is frozen under a foot of snow at this point and he told me to "put it in a bucket with sand". No interest at all in working with me to wait until spring. We put one in, and are the only people on our street with one. So the lazy mail carrier had been walking up to everyone else's doors and skipping ours. The house right next door that we share a driveway with sold and the new owners moved in weeks after us. I (just now) watched the carrier walk up to their door and deliver mail. Insane how you're fine enforcing a policy on one resident and not the next. No announcements to the city or awareness to realtors to inform buyers if that is your actual new policy. Sounds like a LAZY and CARELESS carrier to me. read more

I never thought I would write a review for a post office, but just had the best USPS customer experience at Leominster. I showed up a few minutes before closing needing to send a passport for renewal. The two clerks were engaged in polite and friendly conversation with other customers. At my home post office in West Acton, the clerks frequently yell at customers to leave before posted closing time if they think there's a chance business might go a second past closing. At Leominster they opened a third window and the postal worker voluntarily checked over my application. Unfortunately their internet connection was down, but the clerk kindly directed me to an ATM across the street, and said they would stay open a few extra minutes to allow me to get cash.
