The parking lot can be a challenge. Then again anything off of route 1 can be. This US Post Office is in a strip mall that's of substantial size. That alone makes it a bit unique, but USPS went to this model several years ago I believe. They are usually the lowest cost to ship with. I'm thankful for that. Selling on EBay is work actually. The folks at this post office, and others have been quite helpful. Sometimes standing in line is the cost of doing business. On a plus note the employees here are friendly, and have a sense of humor. If close by I go to this one. All packages have shipped with no problems. That consistency is appreciated. read more

Ms. Cece was super amazing today. A package was coming for my kid that my cousin ordered for a late bday present. There was a mixup and our apartment number was left off of the package. My daughter reached out and spoke with Ms. Cece and she was not only able to retrieve it but said they will send it back out. I have been in this area 22yrs and never have had any problems with this location. Today showed my why they are post office they are. Seriously, I've never had bad service at this location. The employees are friendly and efficient. One guy sings and hums his way through transactions...it's kinda funny actually. I've had everything from passport services to simple flat letters mailed (I never keep stamps handy), and every time and out in a jiffy. I also favor this location because of its proximity to my home :) They house a small area of cards and event wrappings. The inside is kinda quaint, so it's typically a line out the door, but it moves quickly. And when closing time is near, there's never a rush to move customers out of the facility. read more

By far my favorite post office in the area. Always fast and efficient, even when I'm that chaotic shipper. And the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. This is for you "Kenneth." This is my post office. Not because it is the one associated with my address, but because it is the one that is closest to me and the one that I don't need to have guns pointed at me just to pick up a box. NOTE: The post office that is associated with my address is on a military base and those guards are serious!!! I've been using this post office since 2003 and it's always been a friendly and competent place to mail, ship and purchase postal items. They are also Covid-19 prepared too!! My interactions first started out all business, but as you know....people like me, which I can't help, so things quickly turned to friendly. In fact, I think they look forward to seeing me and if I don't show up on a regular frequency I can expect questions about "where I have been" since I hadn't been in the post office. LOL. They keep me posted on upcoming postage stamps as I am a novice collector. I do get some looks about my packages because I am serious about sealing the packages. I go the extra mile to give them what they need: clearly addressed packages that are well sealed. I've seen all manner of foolishness in the post office from people showing up with boxes poorly packaged to some people forgetting what a post office is for. Through it all they remain calm and unbothered by the people!! They do deserve medals for dealing with the public as some people really shouldn't be allowed out without supervision. It's the place that I go to mail stuff. They are polite and helpful. And they tell me what to do when I need to file complaints because other post offices don't do what they are supposed to do. :) Keep up the great work!! read more

I would like to update my review about this PostOffice; I've had nothing but great experiences since this last bad experience. I ship items that I sell online it least once a week and every one is very nice. The lines are typically long but it goes by fairly quick and the postal clerks will take customers out of the line that have prepackaged and prepaid items that do not need a receipt. I have also seen one of the postal clerks on my route when my postman was out sick .. I am very happy about this location! Great job! read more

Received an email stating my package was attempted to be delivered. There was no attempted deliver - there is no peach slip to request re-delivery I checked my mail box, paper box, fence and front door - no slip I was in the yard all afternoon spreading lime, fertilizer and weed killer and picking the garden for approx 6 hours. I also have a dog who never barked - no one showed - our regular mail delivery came late and did deliver the clothes pin bag but there was no other delivery except this AM (from UPS) when they delivered my shoes !! This delivery was never attempted or they tried the incorrect house. read more

The post offices website lists them as open at 0830. The notice for delivery lists them as open at 0830. When you call the office, the message lists them as open at 0830. But when you walk in the door, you find that they have changed their hours (to 0900). Repeated knocks at the inner door resulted in no one answering, despite someone clearly walking up to the door and looking out at me, the customer. Completely unacceptable for employees to neither correct the error, or to let customers know it was an error as we wait for assistance. It's now 0900 on Wednesday, October 30th, and the doors remain closed. Perhaps it's time to find another Postmaster. read more

I don't know if I am giving them 5 stars for all the right reasons but you make the call. I went here today to mail some a couple of things and I was totally impressed with the customer service so I decided to tell SOMEBODY about it! They are so polite, friendly and professional at this location I would be willing to drive across the county if I had to in order to conduct my business. After experiencing the severely incompetent postal workers in Montgomery County Maryland, it is truly a pleasure to know that there are still some competent postal workers left. What can I say... It's a post office! If you need something to mail and you need a person to help you with it - - this is clearly one of the very few places to go! Went into the post office today to mail a package to Falls Church Virginia. Was greeted by a sales associate who was very friendly, courteous, and respectful. I paid my whopping $3.78 for the mailing and was in and out of the store in less than five minutes. Next question... Will the package show up on the other end?! I am sure it will... read more

I only give this location two stars and not one is because the supervisor is a nice man. However, I called this past week inquiring about a passport appointment and was told they don't do appointments, only walk-ins at that location. I was told just to show up early as they fill up fast. So I got there 40 mins before they open only to be informed that effective THAT day they started taking appointments and could not see me as the slots were full. I informed the supervisor of the situation and he was very sorry and offered me an appointment a week later. What should have taken place though was for him to TRY and squeeze me in. I would have waited. And they need to get their employees on the same page. The supervisor told me that all employees knew for over a week about the new appointment schedule, just not the guy I talked to apparently. read more

I visit this office a couple of times a month while traveling between offices. The employees are so pleasant it makes the experience worthwhile. On one occasion I even had the Postmaster assist me with my transaction, he was professional and very hands-on. Today two 90 year olds came to your post office with fear and trepidation. We had let our passports lapse and had no idea how complicated renewal might be.
