That alone makes it a bit unique, but USPS went to this model several years ago I believe. They are usually the lowest cost to ship with. I'm thankful for that. Selling on EBay is work actually. The folks at this post office, and others have been quite helpful. Sometimes standing in line is the cost of doing business. On a plus note the employees here are friendly, and have a sense of humor. If close by I go to this one. All packages have shipped with no problems. That consistency is appreciated.

Once I was asked what was inside of my greeting card from a nosey perspective, and when I didn't tell her she refused to send it as a card and insisted it was a package. Only for that "package" to arrive to the intended address 4 weeks later. Another time they claimed my card didn't bend enough and therefore couldn't be mailed regularly. As someone who has mailed things for years at many post offices across the country I must say this location has fostered my worst experiences. Literally how are the rules different every other month... for greeting cards. I can't imagine what would occur if I was sending actual packages!

Landscapers keep the grounds freshly manicured year round and it's never hard to pick out a spot of grass to just sit down and relax on. Base police keep a tight ship so make sure you watch where you park or you'll probably get a ticket, and base tickets aren't cheap. Overall, great post. During a previous visit, I witnessed an employee become visibly frustrated and yell at a Hispanic customer who was simply asking for help. The employee repeatedly emphasized that she "doesn't speak Spanish" in a very aggressive and unnecessary manner, which was uncomfortable and inappropriate to witness. When I returned on a later date, I encountered the same employee and was met with a rude attitude for no apparent reason. I was polite and respectful, yet still received dismissive and unfriendly treatment. What made the experience even worse is that multiple employees openly mocked and made fun of customers together, in front of others waiting in line. This is extremely unprofessional, especially for a government service meant to serve the public respectfully. Customer service here feels hostile and unwelcoming. I hope management addresses these issues, as no customer should feel uncomfortable, disrespected, or embarrassed simply for asking for help.

They've been holding 3 packages of mine for a week and a half…read morenow, saying each day that they're out for delivery, and then rescheduling them for the next day, blaming the weather from 2 weeks ago. The roads have been clear for over a week now, and I have had multiple deliveries since from all the other majors- USPS, FedEx, WalMart, and Amazon. UPS *used* to be the gold standard, but now they're horribly unreliable and incompetent.
