This place was great. I went before lunch on a weekday thinking it'd be packed, there were like 2 people there. I got my packed mailed in less than 3 mins. DO NOT COME TO THIS POST OFFICE!!! unless your life depends on...and if it does then make sure your beneficiary is notified. This place is horrible!!! You are guarantee to stand in line for 30 minutes to an hour. So don't go on your lunch break or 15 minute break. Whom ever is the supervisor should be fired!!! He or she is horrible with scheduling more than 1 person during peak hours. This post office is in the middle of businesses, prime location for a post office, right!! Wrong!!! Don't get me wrong the staff is pleasant BUT they are slow as molasses. You are better off going to the ghetto Post Office located on 7th in the Macy's Plaza...at least they get you in and out... read more

In case you haven't heard the Post Office is running out of money - that's because you prefer to email, twitter, facebook, and selfie yourself through life - Back when people actually wrote letters, bought stamps, sent post cards and actual photographs through the mail the service was wonderful. horrible customer service from many at this location but Ms. Hill takes the award for rudeness, sloooooowness and complete lack of help. she is outwardly hostile and many of us that frequent this location have the same stories about her. we all know they have a guaranteed job so there is little incentive for them to offer good service. AND please please please fix the stamp machine so we do not have to deal with the horrible staff just to get stamps. read more

Are you kidding me? I was just on Yelp looking to see if the hours of this P.O. were posted, and I'm shocked to see bad reviews! The reason I'm shocked is because the tall Black guy that works here is one of the best employees I've ever run across at any P.O., and the ladies have also been helpful - a couple of them aren't that talkative, but I don't come in here to chat! That being said, there used to be a lady that worked there who was kind of surly, but after I had a situation wherein I needed direction, it turned out that she was very helpful, a stickler for following rules, but not as surly as I thought...she was just a no-nonesense type and I certainly have no problem with that! I've been coming here for at least 10 years and I maintain a PO Box here. Absolutely no "issues"...lines are like any other PO if you go at the "wrong" time, but as far as taking care of business, I have no complaints - and the gentleman I mentioned is very pleasant and friendly without being chatty, and very helpful. Compared to all other P.O.'s I've done business with, this one is by far the best. read more

Unless the tall black man is there - RUN - The black woman that works there is horrible to deal with - I just want to send my mail, not get bitched at and thrown dirty looks - Even if you call with a question about hours or packaging she has an attitude. I see other people have had issues with her as well. I don't know why she is still working there. She makes you feel like she might be making a mistake or overcharging you, as she has no idea what she is doing - You ask her a question about the cheapest way to ship and she looks at you with a clueless look and scrambles through the computer, only to give you a more expensive option. The man however, will talk to you like a decent human being, he is very very helpful. He ALWAYS ensures I am getting a good deal while getting my mail to the destination on time. I wish the woman would quit or get fired, I hate having to deal with her. read more

I just had the worst customer service experience with a clerk named LAIYIN. I was the last customer in the store and talking to my mom on the phone while I filled out my envelope. She yelled at me to get off the phone since the store is closed. And then when I realized I had used the wrong envelope, she yelled at me again to leave the store and go to another one because this one is now closed. Lady you can't work a few minutes after 4pm?? I walked in before 4pm so you do your job with the last customer like you would the first. Can you make it anymore obvious that you hate your job? Horrible. This is downtown LOS angeles, and these guys work like we're in a small town where the train to the big town stops once a week. Very short hours, one person at the counter, extremely long lines. This is not the place if you want to get things done! Infuriating!!! read more

This is the worst postal store! Not only long lines but also awful attitudes. Since when do you complain to the public on how broke the US Postal Service is! The long lines, bad attitude forces me to go elsewhere for mailings. Today i went over to mail important documents and it was closed, it was 1pm - no sign and no one in sight.
