I give this post office a high rating because they seem to be the only post office in the area that carries postage stamps. The customer service is fine and there is rarely a line when I go.

A terrible representative/worker of this usps store location

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE- the worker that is always here (lady with black hair) is not what should be representing this store TERRIBLE WORKER & TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. definitely wouldn't want a person like that representing my company/store. I stood in line patiently waiting for my turn (about 45min) due to her slow working, then I asked for a receipt for my packages that I'm dropping off and she started to yell at me saying "No No, No receipt" I asked her why can't I get a receipt because that's what you guys offer as usps store and she continued to yell at me saying that she has all these people to help. mind you when I walked in there was someone at the desk and one person in front of me (3 people) Over the time of her working slow the line stacked up. I personally don't think the line has anything to do with me not getting a receipt for my packages, a service that usps offers. If she would have approached the situation kindly and said" hey I have a lot going on do you mind just setting them down and I will be sure to scan them in" I would say yes that is okay I understand. Every time I've gone in she has been rude and unprofessional over me asking for receipts for my packages.

    Just filthy!!

I've been here a few times for stamps only. Line is always long and there is always only 1 person attending. Today prompted me to write this review. The floor was absolutely disgusting! Dirty and sticky, and papers thrown around on the floor in various areas of the mail store. I assume they are short staffed but no mail center should ever look like this!!

Ask the Community - US Post Office

    Do they sell money orders?

    Is there parking?

No, there is no free parking or meaningfully priced parking nearby. This USPS location is here to serve people working in DTLA.

You'll find that outside of the lunch hour (aka recess for adults?), the location has short lines and decent service.

Please support this USPS!!!…read more This USPS is essential to Chinatown and the federal government recently tried to shut it down. They now offered the owner Peter Kwong $100 a year instead of their regular contract. This is likely the only CPU that accepted such a ridiculous offer but Peter wanted to keep it open for the community, especially the elders that need this service. Peter has been operating at a loss for the last 26 year but now he will really be bleeding red. The workers need their job and the community needs this USPS. I know there has been comments about their service but please give grace to the older worker and please support its cause. We are fighting for the community so hope you all can do the same but making this USPS your go to USPS.

Make sure you don't park out front on Hill St during certain times of the afternoon or else your car will get towed! Love this hidden little post office AND they stay open much later than a lot of the other USPS locations in the area! The guy who runs it (I think) is super chill and accommodating. He's the one who warned me not to park on Hill St, and even though it was almost time for him to close, he waited for me to move my car so I wouldn't get a super expensive ticket or get towed. So nice! He even let me use his tape!
