Lost both my parents within days of each other, my dad chose Romero Funeral Home for their…read moreservices. My experience with them was very disappointing. My extended family has used them for their services for as long as I can remember. Dicky definitely needs to retire because his heart is not in it anymore and it shows. It took them weeks to cremate my parents, my dad sat in their freezer for weeks waiting on my mom to join him. The medical examiner's office took forever and I had to call to see what was going on. I feel that as much as the funeral home over charges for their services, they should of been the ones checking on my mom. When I called with questions, the staff was not helpful or kind, it was as if I was bugging them. Final straw, we went to pay them and went off the paperwork they gave us with total amounts for my parents. I called to double check on amounts and it went up. I called to see why it went up and both girls could not explain it to me. Waited for Dicky to call me with an explanation and I still have not received a call back, it's been 3 days. I understand that we all have our own problems in life but if you can't conduct yourself in an professional, kind manner, you really need to retire!
