I have mixed feelings about this USPS. I mailed 15 St. Patrick's Day cards eight days before St. Patrick's Day. Most were received two or three days before the holiday. Other cards were sent to Boston and not received to recipients for anywhere from 10 to 20 days. Also, one of those cards was going to the same address as three others that were delivered within two days. What is wrong at the Mansfield post office? read more

This is in reference to the office staff - Was looking for a package that was mis-delivered. Spoke with Dawn twice and another employee once. Both went out of their way to help. Called the carrier, returned my calls, and ultimately found the missing box. I am happy with their service and grateful to have the package! read more

They suck. The carrier has been putting my mail in a different mailbox in my apartment complex. Most recently eBay told me my pkg was delivered into my mailbox. Got home. Nothing. Left a note explaining that there was nothing before work this am. I come home note is gone and pkg still not in my mailbox. Scumbags. UPDATE: they still suck. Been tracking a pkg. was delayed a day. Said it was out for delivery this morning at 8am... now it's 9pm... no delivery. They do this to me ALL THE TIME. read more

The machine in the lobby vends forever stamps before the office opens which is convenient on my way to work. The machine change, and gave me 2 $20 stamps instead of 2 books of .50 stamps. I went back when the office opened and a rude counter person said she couldn't take it back and she would get a supervisor. I said OK thanks, she came back without supervisor and said to call the number on the machine, I must have done something wrong. There is no phone number on the machine. I put an online case in from usps.com. The case was escalated but nobody ever reached out from that office as I was promised. The service there is AWFUL. I am out $40!? That's all?? They have not heard the last of me. read more

This branch is awful. I've gone in twice now to try to apply for a passport and I called ahead before the first trip. My first visit I was assisted by an older man who appeared to know very little of the operations of the USPS and passport process but he was able to inform me I needed to return with my birth certificate. Fair enough , I missed that on that form. I return a week later and get a short hair'd middle age woman with a perpetual scowl on her face. She rudely told me that I need the full size, AKA long form birth certificate as the short form is "missing information she needs." This is NOT stated on the application under required documents, nor did the clueless older guy say that last time. I can now empathize with Barrack Obama with his short form birth certificate not being good enough for the likes of Donald Trump and the USPS. I only hope that the USPS continues to lose money with there poor service, attitude and delivery times. Use any other branch but this one. read more

Constant problems....they have admitted that there is not a constant mail delivery man on my route making it "impossible to promise mail delivery everyday." I went today to mail a fragile package. He threw it in a box and said "I don't know why you are upset because its going to get thrown way harder than that when you are gone." I politely asked for the package I was mailing back and I will NEVER return. I am disgusted by the absolute disregard for others belongings. read more

They lost an expensive necklace, admitted it was scanned at the wrong house. Then rudely told my husband it has been in our mail box for the past two days, which it wasn't. Horrible customer service, very rude and nasty people, hell even buying stamps is an unpleasant experience. read more

In the year since my previous review it has only gotten worse. Multiple packages lost and never delivered (That were confirmed at the post office), mail not getting delivered, and at least twice a week getting the wrong apartments mail (that's clearly labeled as a different apartment!). With the amount of lost packages and missing mail, it seems like an employee(s) is stealing mail. Take a few extra minutes and go down the road to the Easton post office, its smaller, but FAR more professional and reliable. Poor service. Cut off delivery to a 20+ family complex (with 0 notice to ANY of the families) because THEY (the mail person) lost the key to our complex. Which also means someone who does not live here now has access to our building. When contacted, instead of apologizing or taking ANY of the blame, they put it all on the condo management, and basically said "tough luck". No wonder the USPS is consistently losing money and customers. Irresponsible with mail, poor customer service. Would give 0 stars if possible. read more

On numerous occasions I've gotten someone else's mail in my mail box. Who knows where my mail went. For several days now I haven't received my mail at all. I shoveled a large (3' plus) opening from the edge of the plowed street to my mailbox, however the carrier seems unable, or unwilling, to take 2 steps to put my mail in the mail box. After waiting 15 min during a week day, the lady with the short brown hair was incredibly rude regarding a passport application. Wouldn't take the documents I had even though they were exactly what was needed. Drove an additional five minutes to the Foxboro location where they obviously accepted my application and paperwork but were much nicer and efficient. Strongly recommend avoiding the long lines and rude staff at the Mansfield location and drive 5 min to a much better location. read more

The past week and a half I have been waiting on a gift for my fiancé, this gift was an iPhone 6s Plus I had ordered from eBay. The post office originally said they couldn't see the house from the driveway and returned t to the post office after a week and a half of going back and fourth with them the finally told me the package was lost in transit. read more

Packages scanned as delivered, sometimes they are delivered, sometimes they don't show up until the next day, and recently two small packages scanned as delivered at the exact same time yet four days later they are still not in my mailbox. I've ordered these items before and they fit fine in my mailbox. I went down to the Post Office in person, handed the woman behind the counter a piece of paper with the tracking numbers on it and started to explain, she interrupted me mid-sentence and said "at this point these are useless to me" and asked for my name and address, walked away, looked out back, came back and then said "ok, now I need these". She confirmed that they showed as delivered, she wrote down my name and phone number and said that a supervisor would call today, I waited all day and received no phone call. My mail was delivered today, only letters, still no packages. I guess I'm out $80 worth of items with no recourse, they weren't insured, which wasn't an option from the seller. The worst part is if I want to order more items I have no choice but to gamble with deliver since I refuse to pay $600 per year for a PO box the same size as my mailbox! read more

Mail forwarding? Forget it! We have had multiple pieces of my Dad's important mail not forwarded from Mansfield to SC, INCLUDING 2 BILLS FOR AMBULANCE SERVICE which now are past due and have been sent to the IRS for tax garnishment! When I try to call the Mansfield PO, no one answers. Trust me, I will contact them--regardless how long it takes. Ridiculous! read more

Went to the post office today with my friend to help her mail out a Poshmark order. For those who dont know Poshmark is a website where you sell things and other buy them and pay for 2 day priority mail shipping. When we went in we grabbed a 2 day priority shipping box and put the item in to ship out. The lady Donna at the counter immediately said no and for us to get a different box because we had the wrong one. I explained to her that I have sent items out on Poshmark before and have used this box and never had a problem or been charged extra, but she argued and insisted with me, so I just got a new box. After recieving attitude from Donna, I helped my friend pack her box to be shipped. She then yelled no again saying rudely that we needed to tape up our box, yet we had no tape on hand and she didnt give us any. I have been to this post office before and they are generally fine, but this encounter with Donna was extremely rude and unprofessional and I will be using a different post office now. read more

I just moved here in June and have had the wrong mail in my mailbox and had my own mail go into someone else's. The mail carrier is a nightmare to deal with. Due to the fact that I get a package delivered often and the mail carrier refuses to drive to my door and ring my bell, he will leave a notice at the complex mailbox stating "Sorry we missed you" sign this and choose a redelivery date and we will deliver again. They left the paper there for a week! I finally went into the Mansfield PO only to be told that they had the package there because they will not deliver to the complex due to high theft. When did they plan to tell people that live here that? That's the first few issues... Then if the package is small enough, they will leave it in your locked mailbox. Problem is, it's never mine. I get tracking and it always says delivered, but when I get my mail, nothing. Takes forever to track it and then never gets found. Do yourself a favor, send through UPS not USPS. I've shopped many things and lived in other condo's with no mail issues, but this one in Mansfield is ridiculous and rude. A total nightmare to deal with and the older mail carrier is even worse.
