Well.... after my visit today I can understand the other not so favorable reviews. It's unfortunate! I visited today and the service I received was far less than friendly. The clerk that I spoke with at the counter was not customer friendly in the slightest. I was not the only person that noticed either.... after I spoke with the clerk and got the paperwork I needed, I stopped at one of the stations to complete it before I left. Another patron approached me to comment about how rude the clerk was. I guess receiving good service is hit or miss here.... read more

Honestly might be my least favorite post office to go to but I had to go here due to this being where my package was being held. Literally no one is out here to help the four people in front of me. This is a horrible post office and would recommend to avoid it at all costs! read more

A few days ago mail from another address was left in my mailbox, happens occasionally, I always leave it for the carrier and it is always taken. This time I put it on the mailbox with address showing for mail carrier to take, he left it there. Next day, I left it again, handing out more so it couldn't be ignored. The carrier actually folded it up and stuffed it in my mailbox! Also, I never received my Tuesday grocery store flyers. I called the Post Office, was told she would check into it and call me back. Never called, I knew this would happen. The carriers are different all the time, and we get our mail at all different times, not like it used to be where you knew when your mail was coming. They don't care at this post office, and have very bad attitudes towards customers. read more

This is one of the worst Post Office's, I've had to encounter. Employees are very rude, nasty and lazy. Customer Service doesn't exist here. It's one of the reasons paying bills on line is a joy, you don't have to deal with them. As a post box holder my mail is never timely, my magazines are often torn beyond keeping. Just last week I had in my box mail from early November. How does that happen??? Don't bother complaining to them in person because their all deaf and can't remember you ask them the same question 2 days ago. The driveway entrance is seriously in need of repairs now for several years, the dead plants inside need to go to the curb. And junk mail is always all over the counters and floor near post boxes. These employees just don't care. I've witnessed their rudeness to many customers. It's time management is held accountable for the actions of their employees. And the real gem is I pay for a post box yearly to be treated this way, as do other box holders. read more

It seems whenever I'm there they open late, nearly 9am, and glory in it even. So wrong, disturbing, and just twisted.

I am trying to get in touch with someone and was on hold for an hour with no local number to call. When they answer they act like they can't hear me (I have no problems with ANY other calls I'm making!) I am receiving mail for 4 addresses other than my own. I also am missing a $30 check I was supposed to receive in the mail, I never received my drug testing paperwork for work which fortunately was a planned annual or I would be in trouble with my job and I also never received my drug test (drug free) card and have now had to request a reprint. I currently have other people's tax time sensitive documents and can't speak with anyone or get my mail....this is why the post office will go under. read more

I love that they have a self checkout/postage machine, which weighs your packages. you can also buy stamps and random amounts of postage - perfect! no longer have to wait in line - this is free to use 24/7! read more

I came in today to simply ship out two packages that were ready to go. I had the labels ready i just needed 2 of those plastic label cases to stick on the boxes. The woman refused to give me one then pointed at some tape 5 feet away and grunted for me to use some tape that was behind the counter. She was so so nasty. A black woman around the age of 65. I took my boxes and left... drove to beachwood usps and the woman there helped me out and it was a 60 second transaction. She was shocked about the service i had in Mayfield. I cant believe that person is employed to work with the public. I will never go there again. Id rather go out of my way to avoid her. read more

This is the worst post office. This is not a business you would really feel good about using.. The staff is short , rude, unfriendly and uninformative and don't seem to know their own procedures at times....There is a black women I believe name Jill was there once before who is totally not qualified to work with the public with her bad attitude , lack of knowledge, just plain nasty and very argumentative. She is back, WHY!!! , I know people who said they never went back when she was there last time., people also say they will never go to that post office and use UPS .! The post office just doesn't get how people don't want to be bothered with such a bunch of unfit nasty workers. Jill will talk down to you , cut you short, tell you information not accurate, lie, stand there and deny even elderly people helpful information, and tell you it 6:00 and shut the gate when my receipt at the end of my transaction of her just checking in my already postage ready package and shows it was not 6:00 with minutes to go even at that point. I saw her taunt a foreign women who Jill was frustrating, this women needing help, but Jill would not answer her questions and kept cutting her short..Where is a MANAGER monitoring this place? This rude Jill women acts like she is doing you a favor for you coming to use this post office. Is this where are tax dollars are going hiring bias uneducated workers who just make the public miserable.. I would suggest avoiding this mess of a post office..Maybe they should try using a DIVERSE staff instead maintaining a bias hiring which they have repeated for years, to show these staffers how to be pleasant. read more

I've always used this branch as my last resort, because over 5 years, I've learned that customer service is non-existant there! And today reinforced that if that is the last post office on earth, go to UPS! As the pervious reviewer said, the are so worried about being direct, they can't do their job. I needed to send a giftcard and wanted to insure it. Apparently, you can't insure those. O.K. I get that. Give me another option. She didn't. I said screw it, I can go to UPS! Then I needed postcard stamps, really stamps just went up. THey have no new postage! I said, well then help me make a combination that works from other denominations. She said we have nothing. After me, really pushing the subject, she grabbed some other stamps! I left and went to my local branch at Chagrin Falls, OH... They are soooo nice there!!! read more

This place is most often a disaster. Who heard of no Christmas stamps two weeks before Christmas? Manager asleep at the ordering desk? Who got the idea to include soooo many households in the 44124 zip code? Way too busy.
