The clerk that I spoke with at the counter was not customer friendly in the slightest. I was not the only person that noticed either.... after I spoke with the clerk and got the paperwork I needed, I stopped at one of the stations to complete it before I left. Another patron approached me to comment about how rude the clerk was. I guess receiving good service is hit or miss here....

Do NOT use this post office; their employees STOLE 19 books from my package!! The books that were…read moreleft were DAMAGED and RIPPED UP (see pictures below). I used media mail to mail 50 of my personal books to my new address. The tracking number the post office gave me stopped tracking my box of books at the 2nd stop. USPS (federal employees) opened my book box, STOLE 19 books out of it (Star Wars and Marvel graphic novels, Star Wars novels, a book about Jesus, several historical books, and 4 books about spirituality). The books the crooks didn't care to steal were carelessly stuffed back in the box and they even ripped The Alchemist's cover completely off. I am extremely disappointed with USPS; our tax dollars pay these criminals' salaries. NEVER USING USPS EVER AGAIN! Still unable to open the boxes to deliver the mail. Drives off. NO MAIL delivered. To add insult to injury , to call the Beachwood post office there is the 800 number - USPS National Customer Service. What a joke that was. 10-15 minute wait for a live person. They have outside mailboxes for after hours and inside it's just like any other post office... including the typical unhappy and grumpy workers. I really can't figure it out. If their job is so bad why don't they quit and get a job that makes them happy? I mean they are lucky enough to have a job with normal hours, great job security and benefits so why so grumpy? I drove a distance knowing that this post office had a good reputation for being kind and efficient. I was stressed to get some important mail sent overnight. It's too soon know the outcome of delivery but the woman working in the office this morning did everything at her end to accommodate me and make sure she provided me with great service. She took the time to package my mail in a smaller envelope so it would be delivered to an apartment mail box and double checked all my information. This was the best service I have had in a long time when Simone goes above and beyond to help someone!

I said hello and asked if I could do my simple return to which I was told no, she was busy. I left and ran another errand in the complex and return about 10 minutes later. I was then greeted and she scanned my return. Also taped up the package for me, which I appreciated. A little customer service really can go a long way.
