The Worst Service. I have called multiple times and no one actually picks up. They click over and hang up.. HELLO!

Lots of parking and easy to find forms at the front! I needed a Hawaii Voter's registration form to update my address and my name so this location is the main post office for Mililani. Happy I got the forms I needed so I can vote in November!! Hopefully I'll be back soon to mail packages to my sister since she loves receiving Aloha goodies!! read more

I prefer the Mililani USPS to any other location (probably because I live in Mililani and I'm biased!). Parking is ample (unless it's Christmas time... ohh Lord good luck even TURNING INTO THE LOT!). The staff (for the most part) is friendly... I do recall one lady being a grouch (I don't remember her name) but she really needs to work on her customer service skills. Look lady... I'm being polite and courteous to you so I expect the same from you regardless if you're having a bad day or if you don't like your job. HMPH! If you're facing the cashier's she's usually on the far right. The Asian gentleman on the far left is awesome, quick, and super friendly! I usually don't stand in line as I print my own labels at home and just drop my package in the bin... but if I have a package going out of the country then I need that darn customs label. I really love our local post office here in Mililani. They re-did the parking lot a few years back adding much more parking. Since then, i haven't had to wait around for people to leave. The workers are very friendly, hard working, and provide accurate and quick service. read more

This location has gone downhill the last few years. Hiring new unfriendly workers, consistently delivering wrong mail to the wrong post office boxes, returning mail to sender because a little post it that they have telling them which box belongs to who falls off...and now my most recent, losing a package that contained a $500 item inside. This location has not even scanned the LARGE priority box saying whether they have accepted it or that it departed. This was 5 days ago and the recipient still has not received the item. It makes me think that someone at this location has actually tampered with it. I honestly think my package has not even left the Mililani post office. I am furious. No one answers the phone here either, at all! I had to drive there just to ask them about the package to which a grouchy employee at the front told me, "I'm not sure what happened". Really? Wow. I paid almost $20 for it to be shipped priority and you guys can't even tell me where this item is?? DO NOT TRUST THIS LOCATION!!! And do not use the drop off bin at the side. Wait in line so you can request your packages to be scanned. Never thought I would have such a problem. What a headache. I'm out of an expensive item and $500 now. read more

Our relief mailman is the rudest, inconsiderate person I've ever come across. Our regular mail lady is so sweet and very helpful. But this jerk needs to retire or get fired! He delivered a package to our home. Instead of giving the package to my husband (who was sitting in the garage), he rings the doorbell and drops the package in front of the door. He couldn't wait until I answered the door. I had to hang up on my long distance call to go to the door. Such horrible service. Is this what my tax dollars pay for? read more

Our Mililani station has the best people, giving the best service! Always a pleasure dealing with the counter people - so very patient and pleasant. The station is always neat and tidy, even with the crazy Christmas last minute procrastinating customers. What I really like it the ability to print my labels for flat rate boxes and envelopes at home!! GOD BLESS THE PEOPLE WHO MADE THIS POSSIBLE!! I'm a retired "dinosaur" and have technical challenging moments. Sometimes your website gets "overwhelmed" with the volume during the holidays; slows down and kicks me out. This year it took several tries before I could get all 5 labels printed. But sitting at home in my air conditioned room waiting to get back on website sure beats handling those 5 boxes, and waiting in the long line! I passed the people in line with their parcels, straight to the bin, placed 1 package at a time into the "gaping mouth of the parcel eater" and helped it "swallow" each one. I felt so Akamai (smart) and a bit sassy as well, but held my pleasure in check until I got back in my car, then I shouted (Windows were up, AC blasting) "Yippee, zippy pe do da! Mahalo for making this SOOO VERY EASY! Looking forward to mailing my parcels on the last day to get presents to loved ones on the continent by Christmas 2018! I would also compliment your wonderful carriers as well! My regular carrier is a beautiful, friendly lady named Shawn. I think she has been delivering the Nob Hill townhouses for over 25 years now. Always looking fresh and perky, she flashes her winning smile whenever I see her! When she goes on vacation, the people who cover her route are just as pleasant as Shawn. Limited parking, always a line (because they never have enough people working the desk) and the self-service kiosk is broken a LOT. Save yourself the trouble and go to a different post office. read more

I went to this post office to mail a package to a place in town. I had it in a flat rate box because I thought that was the cheapest way. The clerk told me I could save 6 bucks by shipping it using the "Mailing Box" I did and I saved 6 bucks. Now I can buy one 6 PACK! Heh heh heh Bally Hu! read more

I don't understand why a post office puts a Kiosk for easy mailing in their location and has it available ONLY during the same hours as the counter. Why bother? I just moved out to Mililani and Wahiawa area from Makiki. I was SO excited to learn of the kiosk at Mililani post office. I LOVED the kiosk at Makiki! I could go there 24 hours a day 365 days a year. If I decided I want to mail something at midnight I could go mail it. I could get stamps, boxes and more. So...... I was ABSOLUTELY AMAZED when I went to Mililani post office and..... there is a CODE TO GET IN!!!!! What on earth????? Luckily, there was a lady coming out of the door and she informed me that there is a code to get in and ONLY people with post boxes have it. WHAT A LACK OF SERVICE!!!!!! Why bother to have a kiosk where people can't even access it after hours. I might as well ALSO comment on the new kiosk machine. What are you thinking??? Mail clerks at Mililani Post Office are the best! For over 12 years they have guided me to the best way to get fast delivery at the least expense. No matter how busy and rude some of their customers are, they are always kind and helpful. Most have been their longer than 10 years, and are competent, knowledgeable and friendly. I sent a package on time for my niece's Christmas and during transit the custom form placed by the clerk was ripped and it came back to me. I rushed to the post office to send it back and they sent it back except it is not going to arrive on time for my 9 year old niece . So I ask if they could express it since it was an internal mistake but they told me NO unless I paid the difference! Now if anyone have send packages oversea, they know how expensive it is to ship and an additional would be another burden on my small budget for Christmas so I declined. The location indicator is wrong. The Post Office is on the corner of Kamehameha and Meheula.

They were one of the few post offices that opened the Sunday before christmas. Only stood in line for less than 5 minutes. There was lots of parking. The staff was really courteous, helpful and worked efficiently! read more

Oh why can't other Post Offices be like Mililani's station? It's not a very large PO, BUT the lines move faster than large stations and the workers are very friendly! The parking lot is ample for it's size, I do agree it sucks that you only can make a right turn to exit the lot and there's no U-turn at the light on Kamehameha Hwy. So, either you take your chances or head on down to Lanikuhana Ave. to get back to the Town Center. As others said the lines do move in a timely manner. I've been to other stations where I feel I'm starting to lose circulation from standing in one spot too long. But, my favorite feature of this station is the Automated Postal Machine. If you just need to mail something quick this is the line buster to go to. It handles small boxes, flat rate boxes & envelopes, letters, foreign mailings, purchase stamps, etc. I've seen people give me the look of "OMG, she beat us" standing in the lines when I'm in and out in a matter of minutes! read more

My bills constantly get lost in the mail. They don't ever answer their phone and they don't even acknowledge you when you're trying to mail a package. I literally only got a yelp so I could express that the work being done here at the Mililani Post Office is extremely poor and they need to restaff. Went to mail a package but didn't have tape to close the top. The lady at the counter told me to tape it and then she could help me. As I walked 3 feet to pick up a roll of tape she called out "Next in line!" and gave away my place after I waited 25 minutes in line. She literally couldn't wait 2 seconds for me to pick up a roll of tape. Worst customer service! Avoid this place like the plague that it is. read more

As previous reviews stated I can confirm that the manager ( the american black lady ) should not be working there she is very rude and not professional at all. We were standing in line early to mail a priority box she came up to us in line and said what are we mailing I explained there are fragile items in the box... she then said well I hope its wrapped well because we drop 70 lb boxes on top of these while its in transportation I then stated thats another reason I wanted to make sure I mark the check when asked if there was fragile and hazardous material in the package she then said that doesn't matter regardless they will drop that much of weight on top of our mail and that they all disregard that checked stamp for fragile hazardous mail. Also if anything did happen to our box and the items in it they are not paying for it! Really first off why as the manager would you even tell us that our packages are really not protected even if we requested and stated that there was fragile items...etc that they will handle our boxes recklessly and not pay for it if it was there fault something was damaged!? 2nd of all the priority boxes do have a $50 insurance coverage on them so how is she gonna say they wont cover anything! I used this coverage before and yes they have to cover what they did damage! Do I really know more about the policy's they are suppose to follow then the own manager? Unacceptable Its really disappointing to see a manager at the post office do her job this way very unprofessional. On a Positive note for this Mililani post office I have to say the staff working there are the total opposite! They get 5 stars! They are very professional and kind they will answer questions like any professional worker should do. The staff should be applying for her position as they obviously know more and can handle their job. read more

Some of the most incompetent people must work at the Mililani post office. I recently needed to ship a package and paid for it to be shipped express with a guaranteed delivery or your money back as long as you have your receipt with the tracking number. Needless to say that the package was not delivered by the guaranteed date. So when I return to the post office with my receipt, I was met by an extremely rude female who seemed as if she woke up on the wrong side of the bed and was told to get my refund I needed an express form along with my receipt which I wasn't told initially. I should have just went to Fed Ex or UPS which would have been less of a hassle and my package would have arrived on time. read more

Horrible customer service experience. Waited in line with my baby and husband for 30 minutes to apply for her passport. We had copies of everything and applications all filled out, but didn't have a copy of our drivers license. The employee there said She would not make a copy of our ID for us even though they had a copy machine. I said I don't mind paying extra for a copy but she said "they can't make copies for customers". I said we waited in line for over 30 minutes and if she could make an exception. She wasn't even apologetic or empathetic but was so quick to turn us around and say no. She didn't even make eye contact with me when telling me no just wanted to turn us away. I don't mind waiting in line but the rudeness of the service makes waiting in line that much more aggravating. Avoid this location of at all possible. read more

Today 19 Dec. 2018 at 10am, I went to request a refund for packet I paid (24$)/sent Thursday 13 Dec. that was guaranteed delivery by 17 Dec. The clerk went to the back for 5-7 minutes then came back saying it's not late, I can't refund you. I asked for a supervisor a black lady came out 5 minutes later, she could not grasp due on 17th--arrived 18th,The math was and still is simple*guaranteed by the 17th* and it did not make until the 18th, I will break it even further= I paid for a 48 hr. service, it was promised for a 96 hour delivery, that's Thurs. 13th to Monday 17th. Which was ok with me because of the weekend. I then got notice that it was not delivered until 18th Dec. so from Thursday to Tues is a 120-hour service, all 3 people I spoke could not understand the difference between the 17th and the 18th. I take it they have been doing this job for at least 10 years to get to supervise. I spoke to a supervisor black lady, she didn't comprehend 17th is due so the 18th is late, I then ask manager and I got a Sean, both were unable or just incompetent to see that if guaranteed by a date-it has to be there on THAT date, or a refund is due. Both kept referring to the date packet made it to wash. Saying *an attempt was made* which is a lie, even my tracker says packet arrived the 17th nothing about delivery attempt. Sean was nice and professional, the black lady was loud and kept rolling her eyes and telling Sean to not give paper that specified both the delivery date and the date it was DUE. I am not sure if its just ignorance or they are trained by higher to deny clear mistakes by the postal service. I request the lady get customer service training and both Sean and her get retrained on dates of the month, difference between on time and late, retrain on your forms what does promised date mean, and actual delivery date, both also got confused by simple words, for example they took ARRIVED and tried to make it look as DELIVERY ATTEMPT. Both should know that if that was the case, in the section where is reads DELIVERED, it would also say on ** 2ND ATTEMPT**. If this is truly their lack of knowledge of the work place-- please hire me as I am ahead of both of them put together. read more

Maybe other people have had positive experiences at the Mililani Post Office. I have had really negative experiences there. I needed two small pieces of tape to cover the address on an important return. They wanted to sell me a used roll of tape that had obviously gotten hot and warped. I had to beg the manager and I doubt if he really did cover the address. Another customer felt sorry for me and offered to let me use her tape. It was too late. The nazis already had the package. For the money and benefits they get they should be friendly. The other complaint is that they expect you to understand the USPS system packaging which THEY should be willing to explain. They act like they are doing you a favor if they have to say two words to you. I am a white caucasian male; hhmmm. read more
