They're well-stocked with plenty of flat-rate boxes, mailers, and envelopes, so it's easy to get everything you need. Parking is convenient, and the open-air concept of the building is my absolute favorite--it's such a refreshing experience. While they're closed on the weekends (all post offices are closed on Sundays, but this one also closes on Saturdays), it's not a problem--I just jog over to the Wahiawa Post Office when needed. 17 December 2020 I…read morehad some postcards in my car for a few days that needed postage. They are going International so I knew it would take more than the regular domestic rate stamps. However, I did not know how much more so I needed to visit a postal service provider to get the stamps weighed. I chose to patronize USPS over the others. On my way home I search for the nearest USPS location because I knew the one nearest my house would be closed since they have very limited hours. The Kunia branch was the nearest location and most convenient, it was right off the main road so I did not have to go far out of my way. It seemed simple enough so I did not even put it in my GPS. Once I turn off the main road, I saw a few businesses but did not immediately see the post office. Luckily, I noticed a sign pointing towards its direction. The sign had the USPS logo and a directional arrow. The arrows direction was hard to make out because it was very faded but, it did help. I pulled up and it was a small trailer. The trailer is well marked and is ample parking available. I presume they don't usually have an influx of customers because the window was closed with directions to ring the bell for service. Within a 30 seconds of me ringing the bell, there was a postal service employee at the window. That was JO (her name was on her name tag). I told her what I needed, handed her my cards, and she informed me of the total cost. While she was placing the postage on the card, I informed her that I would get some change from my car. When I returned to the window she was very esthetic for the coins because as she stated, she needed coins. I don't have any issues with this location. The postal clerk was pleasant and the whole process took me less than 5 minutes. I will definitely go back for fast service away from the bigger, busier post offices.

This UPS store is on the smaller side, but the folks who worked here were very friendly & efficient. Parking access is pretty easy, but the parking lot is shared by other businesses nearby. It was the Monday after New Years so I expected it to be busy with people returning gifts to Amazon. At 9:30 am the line was out the door with about 10 people outside and 5 inside. With only 2 reps working it went surprisingly quick. The third rep was helping someone at a table get a document notarized but after that she asked if anyone had just Amazon returns and was able to help them at the table. The reps here are very nice and efficient. Was able to complete my returns within seconds. All in all maybe waited 10 minutes from outside to being helped. Good job!

The Waialua Post Office location for passport services is awesome!…read more If you search online for other passport service locations they either have 1) very limited days offered for services, so very limited and far out days available, or 2) services offered 5 to 6 days/wk but very limited appointment times open until almost 2 months out. I was shocked to find this north county, country location had the best availability - next week! I could get there during the day from my Waipahu location in only 30 minutes and the appointment time required only 30 minutes for the two applications being made. It all seemed too good to be true. But I prepared well, I thought, for my appointment and proceeded forth on that day. Got to the Post Office 25 minutes early, yeah! Looked for my application folder - panic! It's not in the car - realized I walked out the house without it! After a panicked phone call home got my husband to meet me half-way, near the Schofield Army Base, with the package and I got back to Waialua Post Office at 11:40. My appointment was for 11:30. I went in, only one customer being served, told the postal worker I was there for passport services, he called out to the back and a smiling lady came forward and greeted me. I apologized for being late and told her I hoped she could still take me and she said no problem. She was efficient and polite. I had forgotten to bring photocopies of my personal ID (drivers license) and birth certificate. No problem. They make them there for a minimal fee. They also can provide passport photos but I'd brought my own. I was able to pay for expedited service, the postal service processing fee and a postal money order to the US agency that actually issues the passport using my debit card (no credit cards allowed). I asked for the kind lady's name again and she said with a laugh, "Melba, like the toast."I told her, "No, like the great singer Melba Moore!" She didn't know that reference but I told her to look on YouTube and that every time I thought about today's experience I would remember my Melba Moore in Waialua. I was done and out of there by 12 noon thanks to Melba's kindness and efficiency! Great job Melba! I told her I would need to return and repeat this process for my granddaughter after we received her birth certificate from the mainland. Melba walked me briefly through that process for a minor to insure I'd be prepared. All in all, a pleasurable and worthwhile experience! It feels really great when two human beings can interact and it's a helpful and mutually kind and respectful experience! Melba, you set a positive spirit for the rest of my day - Mahalo!

Making an appointment is easy online and probably a better choice for those who live in the central/ northern part of the island. My appointment was right on time as scheduled. Staff were super friendly and efficient. Make sure to have all your paperwork and requirements completed. Quick and easy. If you need an initial passport or getting one for your kids, then this place is an awesome choice.
