I went to the post office and the clerk Pamela was probably having a bad day because she was very rude. Hopefully next time she feels better

I was very happy with my recent experience here. The rep was very helpful friendly and positive…read more The person next to her was not a very happy person. He seemed like he didn't like his job or maybe his coworker annoyed him by asking him to grab some stamps for her. He seemed annoyed that she asked him to grab another one after I changed my mind and decided I wanted 2 instead. There were only 15 stamps in the package. I got the Low Rider stamps! They're pretty cool looking! Sent a certified mail.

Golden Valley Visited October 31, 2025, around 5:26 PM…read more I understand the frustration of customers arriving near closing time -- that's why I literally ran from my car, smiling and apologizing with my body language before I even reached the counter. For context, this wasn't a last-minute birthday-card run -- I had a stack of eight neatly prepared manila envelopes, each addressed to state and federal agencies including the Attorney General and Department of Commerce. These were priority mailings -- time-sensitive, official, and important. I've spent nearly twenty years in customer-facing roles -- hospitality, personal-assistant work, and owning a residential and commercial cleaning business -- while simultaneously serving as a certified PCA/CFSS worker. I'm no stranger to service or empathy; I know both sides of the counter. Inside were two employees: a middle aged gentleman and a younger woman. The gentleman was kind, calm, and genuine -- the kind of worker who makes you feel human. The woman, who carried herself as if she were the manager or shift lead, was the opposite: cold, dismissive, and condescending. When I politely asked if the post office accepted EBT cash benefits, she cut in before her coworker could answer: "A -- we're closed. B -- we don't take EBT. We take major credit and debit cards only." I showed the information I'd found online, but she repeated her "A and B" line twice. The gentleman gently mentioned that some post offices might accept EBT, but she overrode him again. I said, "You don't have to be so unkind." She replied, "I'm not. I'm simply answering your question. We can't help you." Then, with a smirk: "Ma'am, I'm just trying to direct you to a place that will accept that card." No -- she wasn't trying to help; she was shutting me down. Her tone was disconnected and demeaning. This serves as both a thank-you to the kind gentleman behind the counter and a formal complaint about the unprofessional conduct of the woman who seemed to be in charge. In times like these, kindness costs nothing -- yet it means everything. Unprofessional conduct overshadowed what could've been a five-star experience. Respectfully, I see your A and B and raise you C -- for Calling Out Coldness and Choosing Kindness anyway.

Saturday, Maple Grove. November 1st, 2025- I arrived at 12:50 PM -- closing time 1 PM…read more If I could give six stars, I would. Consistent kindness, not coincidence -- Jeremy embodies what customer service should be. Jeremy. This guy... EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. He is KIND. He is THOUGHTFUL. He is EMPATHETIC. He is FAST. He is EFFICIENT. He is HELPFUL. He is UNDERSTANDING. Jeremy was assisting me with Certified Mail for multiple time-sensitive government-agency documents, and he handled it with pride. The moment he realized how important those envelopes were to me, his focus and care somehow doubled. He didn't rush, roll his eyes, or make excuses -- he made sure every single detail was perfect. When I walked out, it was 1:04. The last customer in line was out of luck, right? Nope. Watch this, folks -- Jeremy, instead of saying: "A -- we're closed. B -- we don't take that..." (Golden Valley Post Office reference) Jeremy smiled and said: "Hey sir, how are ya? Come on up!" That is show-stopping customer service. And here's the thing -- this wasn't a "one-off" good day. I've been in this location many times lately, under difficult personal circumstances, and every single time Jeremy is on the clock, he shows up the same way: kind, patient, and genuine. Whether it's me or another customer, his integrity never wavers. It's not an act -- it's who he is. At a point in my life where I sometimes wonder what happened to basic decency, thank God for people like Jeremy. His consistent, unmatched kindness and work ethic restore faith in humanity. The USPS is lucky to have a man like that representing them -- hands down. With respect (and gratitude), A customer who knows how rare true professionalism is.
