I told him I was shipping a letter via two day priority mail and he went out of his way to get the appropriate envelope behind the counter and put my letter into it himself! Usually at post offices, they'll just point you over in the general direction of all the assorted envelopes and have you do it yourself. Because of him assisting with this, I was in and out very quickly! A huge plus with my two kids in tow. Another patron entered as I was finishing up and the other employee who was working jumped right up to help him too. Great service! And the establishment was kept very clean as well.

Literally the worst. Had a passport appointment at 9am where they were supposed to take a picture…read morefor us. They called us at 8am and told us their camera didn't work. We rushed to go have the picture taken - successfully- but were now 15 minutes late. Alas, they tell us we now need to reschedule the appointment with our toddler where we both need to be present to have it done. Bloated bureaucracy where they couldn't care any less about customer service. Clearly this is their fault but don't care to make it right. One of the only times you actually need to deal with the federal government and it's exactly what you would expect -- Garbage. Orly I think was the name of the person who was making the issue. He's the worst.

When they are open and I need a teller, they all are very helpful and friendly. They also deliver my mail and they do a damn good job. The mail lady that drives the jeep is super cool. Who wants to go outside at night and get their mail? Does this guy get lost for four hours frequently? This is Hampstead for goodness sakes! Why is he delivering my Saturday mail at 6:00pm? I have used their services back in 2013 for picking up and shredding documents. I had decided to…read moredrive up recently (within about 7days of the new year) and save some time and money. Here's the thing about old documents,like maybe some of you out there, I still had a lot left going back some 16 to 17 years. Now like a lot of people out there I have a shredder. Let's be honest though,how many of us (10 pages at a time) will actually shred such a big amount in a relatively short time? Raise your hand. (Pause). Yeah me neither. This is where neighborhood parcel comes into the picture. They are quick and efficient. If you take the drive up there my advice is to look for parking space 999( no not even making this up) as that is right in front of the building. They remembered me from a few years ago (hey I had a ton of old papers then). They are friendly as well and weigh each loose bag by the pound. Ironically I filled out and had them mail out the notarized certificate of document destruction. They will also email it to you only if you prefer. I can't tell you how much time they saved me (as I am getting to that stage in life of weighing time vs. money vs. the fact I won't do it all myself in this case). The relief of knowing that these old documents I was never going to look at again were all gone is priceless. If you've got a whole lot of documents you have been "meaning to get to" bring them here.

The staff has always been pleasant, professional and thorough in my opinion. Shipping does cost a little more than some other places, but (for me) it was well worth it to ensure that my packages were packed and delivered on time and undamaged.
