What a fantastic post office. I called 1/2 before they were closing because I had to bring in a…read moremailing for 162 letters to go out by Certified Mail. I needed stamps so I could bring it back to mail the next day. The woman on the phone told me to come in and they would see what they could do. When I got there it was 10 minutes before closing. I can't say enough about the three women I was helped by tonight. They brought it and then some. Together, we got that mailing out within an hour. Nadean, Soraya and Clara were amazing! Thank you for being team players, providing excellent customer service and for ending my day with a renewed sense of faith in humanity!

The clerks, JoAnne, Val, Karen, Leah were phenomenal! It was a place that valued customers, they called you by your first name. Lines were long because EVERYONE WENT THERE. However, wait time was minimal. Your correspondence/package always arrived to its destination in record time. Val, was the last person left of that awesome crew. She recently retired. There's a new Postmaster , we wished him well. There's a new employee also, wished her well. We were there to mail a greeting card with a check inside. I had placed a regular stamp and wanted to make sure it had enough postage. The woman said it did. That was on the beginning of March, 2025. It's July 16,2025 and that greeting card has still not been received by the intended recipient! It WAS NOT AN INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY. Because I did not conduct a credit card transaction, unfortunately I don't have a receipt,however I did do another paid transaction conducted on that date. WE HAVE NOT RETURNED TO THAT POST OFFICE IN JEFFERSON VALLEY. WE WILL NEVER RETURN. Convinced that the lack of delivery came from here. If I could give it a Zero rating, I would.

Let me tell you the staff makes these mishaps seem like nothing to complain about. Julie( who has retired now for about 2 yrs.), Theresan, Dan and even the new gentleman are all so kind and sociable. We ordered something we need from LOWES. They promised to come here today so we waited all day in case we had to sign for it. It's an apartment complex it's not like having your own home. OUR MAIN POINT IS THAT WE GOT A TEXT FROM ALLEGED UNITED STATES POST OFFICE. WE CALLED OUR POST OFFICE AND THEY WERE KIND ENOUGH TO TELL US THAT NO THEY DO NOT SEND TEXTS. (can everybody stop saying Texas please instead of TEXTS?) it's one syllable and not to state of Texas. We watch too many reality shows about the law to have this not bug us. It's a giant scam! We're really starting to hate criminals. I don't care how poor you are if you ask me nicely I probably would've given you some money, but this is just a way to screw up your life forever. It's called a smishing SCAM. Most people in the country are awaiting packages at this time of year. For once we were smart about technology and just deleted it and reported it as spam. They had a crummy picture of the United States post office logo and very strange text address.. ALL LIES AND ALL CRIMINALS. PLEASE DO NOT CLICK ON THEIR LINK. THE POST OFFICE OF THE UNITED STATES DOES NOT SEND TEXTS. We were lucky enough, even after we reported it as Spam and tried to block the site, that our post office is so wonderful. They actually answered our question and it only took about four minutes. We just don't want anybody else to get robbed, cyber robbed. I don't care what they call it. It's theory is lies. It's fake and I wish the government would do something about it! My husband is ready to explode from watching the news and seeing innocent people rounded up for no reason most of them American citizens and many who have been veterans. We hope everyone realizes that in Chicago when they destroyed an entire apartment building that not one single arrest was made. We don't like the idea of secret police or the reality of secret police. We're also extremely tired of getting these fake texts from criminals. We've been CRIMED enough. Please, everyone be careful during this wonderful holiday season. Try to remember that the cyber criminals and their allies never quit for a second because they use robots. As stupid as a robot is, I'm including Apple and Amazon, and many other large sites. ' TIS THIS SEASON TO BE RIPPED OFF MERCILESSLY. They could be from Russia they could be from China. They could be from anywhere in the United States. They're smart enough to make their text addresses and emails Fake. We just don't want anyone else to be abused by criminals because it is abuse and not all of us are billionaires with a private island. Thank goodness we're not.
