Closes early hahahah. Hours say closes at 5:30pm; I was inside the post office at 5:28pm looking at the person behind the locked doors and counter. I have a QR code for them to print a pre-paid label, so I would have been out of there by 5:30 if the doors weren't locked. If I could leave 0 stars, I would. (I don't try to come right before closing, but it's hard to get off work at 5 and be there at a decent time.) read more

I'm kind of surprised I haven't reviewed this yet, but this is one I wind up using a lot as it is generally less busy than other ones. There is a reason for this, probably. It does not have a stamp machine, for whatever reason. I'm guessing it was there once (there is a space for it) but they pulled it out due to the area. I really hate to pile on, given how much DeJoy has managed to take a wrecking ball to the service generally, but there are a couple things of note. The first is that they do not handle large packages well and have now lost 2 of mine. Small packages are evidently easier to keep track of, I guess. The second thing is that most of the staff does not know how to wear a mask correctly and they generally seem a lot like they're not taking COVID particularly seriously. read more

Not really a fan of this location. There was only one employee and the line was long. I just needed to buy one stamp and mail a letter. This location has no stamp machine. So you are forced to wait for all services other than a PO box or dropping off a pre stamped letter. It's just not convenient. Now as a resident of the neighborhood I must say my letter carrier is pretty awesome. He leaves packages out of sight and I rarely get other people's mail. Also I've used the vacation hold with good results. I know the USPS doesn't get much love from Congress but a self service kiosk would actually save money and improve wait times. read more

There isn't much for one to criticize about the Post Office. It's almost like reviewing a fast food restaurant. The only thing one could really rate is the service and the location itself. The service could be hit or miss. One visit I asked them to hold a package for me and, low and behold, they didn't hold it. Instead it went back to the sorting facility. I had to wait another day just to pick it up. Errr. Other times I've just gone in, waited for about 5 minutes in line, and sent a package. No hassle. Besides the mediocre service, the building is definitely dated which gives it a gaunt appearance. A facelift would benefit this location (and the surrounding area). But even then, a Post Office is a Post Office. So I won't eschew from coming here because I know what to expect. read more

I have lived near here for almost a year and every single time I ever order ANYTHING they can never deliver it to my apartment complex because they won't get a key from my complex. When the Amazon trucks and DoorDash drivers and literally anybody else can come in with no issue because they've contacted my apartment complex to get a key. They refuse to come in. They refuse to communicate in any sort of way. Every single time I ever go in there they are extremely rude, extremely abundant. They are never willing to help me out in any sort of way. I've talked to one person multitude of times and every single time they need proof of address proof of identity every single thing to cross off the checklist and they will never give me my package or tell me why they can't go into my apartment complex. They are very sticky. I really recommend do not come over here. They will make you upset. It'll make your day a little bit worse cause they do it to me every single time. read more

This place is always understaffed. The line is always long. I got there at 8:40 in the morning (They open at 8:30). There was 5-6 people waiting and the employee was just opening the gate. I also thought it was interesting that masks were required, but the employees did not wear one. I do understand it is a thankless job and I appreciate the workers that are there. read more

I live in an apartment complex and all my packages get held at the post office, they do not leave a pink slip telling you the package information, instead is a white paper saying "we held it at the post office". This is completely fine, I have no problem picking up my packages, the problem is that when I go in they refuse to look for the package, one time I knew I had 4 packages and the person helping me came out with two, so I asked her if she could look because that was my 3rd time there and they kept telling nothing was there, even though a "notice" was left in my mail box and I was waiting for the items I ordered. This person was super upset that I made her go look and surprise, she was gone for like 2 min and came back with the other two packages. This literally happens to me, every time I go pick up packages, and some of them make you feel so bad for asking if they could look, and I want to say that whenever I have gone, it has been empty and no one is waiting after me, it only bothers me because I shouldn't have to be going back every other day to see if the person at the counter feels like finding my packages or not, they are clearly there, since I eventually get them, but only after going in three days a week. read more

I ended up at this post office that wasn't the one I was trying to get to but it work regardless. I went on pioneer day and they were open which was great. I had a few things to drop off that were already stamped so I didn't get to interact with the employees really. Just dropped by stuff inside and left, got in and out super quick. I have had nothing but incredibly bad service with this post office. The workers are very rude and unwilling to assist. My mailbox lock has been changed two times without them letting me know. I went today to see why my key wasn't working and they informed me my lock was changed AGAIN. The worker then stated that if it's changed again And I need another new key I'll be charged $40. I shouldn't have to pay when I never even requested the lock be changed in the first place! read more
