Another extremely positive experience with an employee who went above and beyond to help me! A carrier had mis-scanned one of my packages out for delivery as "delivered: picked up by individual at post office" when I did not do so. Cause for panic, yes. However I was able to get in touch with Kevin at this location who personally took the time to locate my package from the carrier, follow up with me by phone call the next day about an update, and deliver it to my house before I was leaving to go out of town. I truly thought I was never going to see this package or it would be a multi-week endeavor, and Kevin was able to solve it in under 48 hours, all around the holidays no less! read more

Im such a positive person and I really hate to leave a negative review. I've been to this location a few times. It is kept clean. However I have a horrible interaction every single visit. With the same employee...Blanca. I have to call her out in hopes that somebody else could have a conversation with her about her attitude. It's unwelcoming, it's racist, it's unapologetic, and most of all it's not acceptable. I will be taking a longer drive to a different post office simply to avoid this one employee. That's sad. As other online reviews have said, Blanca is extremely rude and should not be working a customer service job. I've worked in customer service, and even on my worst days I never acted the way she does. The first time I interacted with her, she yelled across the room at me "shipping or picking up?" I said I was shipping, and she said "over here". Her tone immediately put me off. She then commented on my tattoos and asked how much money I've spent on them. Kind of a weird question - but I answered and said "a lot". Then in a very judgmental tone, she said "they're expensive". I laughed it off and then she said "I'm sorry, but they're expensive" while shaking her head. She then took the package I was mailing and carelessly threw it behind her toward the mail slot/curtain. I went back to the post office today, hoping Blanca wouldn't be the one to assist me (thankfully I was helped by another person who was very kind and efficient!). However, I saw her be rude yet again to the customer she was helping. The customer came up to the counter, set her documents down, and wasn't even able to speak before Blanca said "Are you shipping? Picking up? Certified mail? What do you wanna do?" like she just wanted to get it over with. How she hasn't been fired is beyond me. The 2 women that were sitting at the counter were gossiping with a customer for more than 5 minutes before one of them looked at me, rolled her eyes and said "Next" and let out a sigh of annoyance. The clerk asked what I needed and as I started to tell her, she cut me off to add more information to the conversation next to her. I waited until she was finished and restated my purpose for being there. then she says "What else do you need?" as I started to tell her, she points to the end of the counter and says "Over there!" I respond with "What's over there?" She says "He can help you over there" and then loudly yells NEXT. There was no one at the end of the counter so I waited about 5 minutes and he came out of the back, walks over to the rude lady and then comes back and asks How may I help you. I tell him, he goes back to her she says NO and so he comes back to me to tell me I cannot get the tracking labels I need because then she wouldnt have any and she needs them. I just gave up. YESTERDAY, Mon 13 Jan 2025, the U.S.Post Office staff here accepted a CERTIFIED AND RETURN RECEIPT that we paid in more than $9.00 for our Est. Payment #4. We do this for the peace of mind to know it made its way by the incredibly underqualified staff across the country who are left working. The green return receipt gets attached to our IRS mailing envelope. When it ARRIVES in Cincinnati, Ohio later in this week (SUPPOSEDLY)....only THEN does it get signed for by the person who picks up the mail for the IRS and finally returned to us to confirm its arrival in Cincinnati. Except, we received this return receipt in our mail box TODAY, ONE day later. So, how are you going to fix THAT, USPS?? How??? Please advise. read more

Linda Post Office 92111 is the worse post office in the 47 years we have lived here. We have lived in 6 different areas of San Diego. The current Supervisor is no help except to tell me I had been given the only mail that was held for us for a month after going there 1/30 & 1/31. He has not a clue what's going on. He said we had no packages or any outstanding mail. On February 1there was a miracle! I went to our box and needed a wagon to collect all my delivered packages and outstanding mail. Do not have this Post Office hold your mail and avoid it if you can. while I waited for him to check again there were 12 people in line and one clerk while the other one was busy decorating for Valentines Day. This is the worst post office of any in the country. If all the post offices were eliminated this would still be the worst. There is one reason. Her name begins with a BL and ends with a ANCA. That's right...she's Blanca, ladies and gentlemen. Her claim to fame is that she shows no shame. It's like she wakes up in the morning trying to be the Post Office Terminator. "Must seek out happy customers and destroy their lives" I cannot tell you how many times I've gone into this post office and hoped I would get someone other than her...someone pleasant...someone that loves meeting people and providing great service. Nope...it's always her and she is as mean spirited as they come. I wish the Post Master General would just grant her early retirement and put us all out of our misery. I was trying to return some stuff I ordered online and was reusing the box the retailer sent me. I ripped off pretty much all the labels on it but the tiny white blank pieces were not wanting to come off. I thought it would be fine. As soon as I was next in line, Blanca straight up started yelling at me. She yelled and pointed at me saying something like, "OH NO YOU DONT BRING THAT IN HERE! THERES A SIGN!" She pointed at a sign I'd never seen before that had pictures of boxes with old labels completely blacked out with a sharpie or something. I don't frequently send packages so how would I have known the tiny pieces of a label weren't allowed or even less set her off? Her co-workers and the other customer there all just stared at her. All other activities stopped so my business was all of a sudden everyone else's. She quickly realized she was out of hand and tried to back track and be nice but it was too late for me. I felt like a pile of steaming hot doo doo. I'm not a child and I didn't intentionally do anything wrong. If I was coming in every week with boxes covered in old labels and she'd told me time and time again, I'd understand her reaction but that wasn't the case. Called about my missing packages and a gentleman answered the phone and was extremely helpful. Said I could come through and pick them up without a problem. Apparently my whole apartment complex's building mail got held due to broken mailboxes. I get here and immediately the lady at the front named Blanca is rude and dismissive!!! I told her about the mailbox issue and how a whole building's mail is being held at this location and she said rudely I DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THAT. She gave me some additional backhanded responses and told me to wait to the side. This lady is the worst. Can't believe some people are so miserable they exist solely to make others miserable. This morning, I went to the Linda Vista post office around 9:40. Only one window was open, and the customer there was taking a long time, so I was waiting next in line. Eventually, more people started lining up, and finally, another window opened. When I approached it, I was told that people picking up packages should go to window number one. Since I was there for a package pickup, I complied. However, no one was at window one, and the person who had directed me there was well aware of it. No one came to assist me, and I ended up waiting for over 15 minutes. Eventually, another staff member came out from the back but ignored me even though she clearly saw me standing there. When I asked her how much longer I would have to wait, she showed no remorse and responded, "I just got here, so I don't understand why you're upset. I'm going to help you now, so calm down." No one apologized, and I was left feeling extremely frustrated. The staff at this location only seem to care about themselves, and even when they see customers waiting, they ignore them. This place seriously sucks. The absolute worst of all time. I really don't understand how this particular post office can be so terrible. My condo complex routinely has issues with mail and packages being lost/mishandled by this post office. I regularly receive my neighbors' mail, and they receive ours. Lost packages are the norm. The issues with this post office have become so frequent that I will actively drive out of my way to take my outgoing mail to a different post office because this one is so unreliable. At this point, I anticipate any package shipped to my home address via USPS will be lost. If I am expecting anything to be delivered by USPS, I will try use a different shipping address so that it is not handled by this particular post office. I have lived in many different places in San Diego, and never had problems with USPS until moving into my current residence. We never have issues with any other delivery carriers like FedEx, UPS, etc. The packages that do manage to be successfully delivered are always in rough shape, with holes, rips, and tears in the packaging. The most idiotic thing my mail carrier ever did was decide to SMASH my save the dates for my wedding into my tiny mailbox instead of placing it in the parcel locker like someone with common sense would. Every single one of them was ruined. I've seen packages carelessly left on the ground when they were too big to fit in the mailbox. The mail carriers just don't give a damn. And then there's the attitudes of the staff working at this post office. First of all, this post office is always crowded, with long lines and workers who are in no rush to keep the line moving. When you finally get to the front of the line, the workers are not helpful at all, and there is an 80% chance they'll make you wait in another long line to speak to a manager for something simple. After multiple interactions with my local mail carriers and the staff working inside the post office, most have been rude, incompetent, and indifferent. My experience in other post offices are nowhere near as awful as it is coming here. Just go to a different post office if you can, and hopefully your address doesn't get mail delivered from this one. read more

The Window Clerk (named Yevernia or Yevenia) wS SUPER RUDE to me as soon as I walked up to the window. She basically told me that I needed to do HER job and make sure that all of my certified mail labels and return receipts were in the right order for the right pieces of mail. I told her that they ARE in order and if she took 10 seconds to look at what I placed on her mail counter window, she would know that. She then huffed and puffed as she affixed the certified mail and return receipt items to each piece of mail. VERY rude. I told her that I did her job 20 years ago in 2000 and that I was also a supervisor. I let her know that if she were my employee behaving in her manner, that I would not pass her on her probation. I would have been embarrassed to have her greet USPS customers. By the way, she was yelling at the customer before me and I was hoping to get her so that I could let her know. I wanted to share my unpleasant experience with the worker named BLANCA. As I waited in line, she had already glanced over at me with a bothered face as I had a couple of packages to ship. I then proceed to her when she calls out "nexxxtt" in the voice from the receptionist lady from Monsters Inc. I start to place my packages on the counter and she asks "Is it more than 5 packages?" I count them and say yes it's 7. She then shared that I should fill out some form & showed me the form & said something about making it faster when I bring in packages and being considerate for her and others in line. She proceeded to point out the 3 people in line as if I didn't wait patiently for my turn in the same line. She then tosses my packages into the bin. I then try to ask her how her day is going to try to loosen up her dullness but nope, she was still so rude! I know the staff are union & all so they don't seem to care about giving the best service but maybe Blanca could try being a little more welcoming & friendly to make the customer's experience a little more pleasant. read more

I rarely visit the post office. I may drop in a few times per year maximum. I pay all of my bills online, so only drop in if I need to mail specific documents or if I need stamps. Parking is usually plentiful at this post office location. Service the few times I've gone has been decent. Lines can be super long depending on when you go. I have found early morning, lunch time, and right before closing are usually the busiest times. As a result, I always attempt to go between those times and I'm usually done quickly. Today I went around 3:00pm with my God Daughter in tow and there was only one person in line. I was in and out of that joint in about 5 minutes flat. This location sells shipping boxes of various sizes and greeting cards. Very convenient if you're forgetful or on time crunch. read more

I was inspired to write this review purely because of the QC and Claims team at this office. Every time I've put in a claim, they've responded either in a few hours, or next day. The staff who makes the calls are very sweet and helpful. I don't know how the staff you interact with physically are. Received a letter and took the letter and damaged item to the post office, who failed to file it as a claim on their end, so of course they denied my claim, so now I have to file an appeal. Thank goodness I did not lose the receipt for the item they gave me when I handed over the damaged item, otherwise I would have no proof, something the USPS was betting on. Scumbags! I never leave reviews but my husband and I just recently came here to do our postal services at the Comstock location and oh my god were these ladies so incredibly rude to every customer!! We couldn't believe it! Everyone that is working there should just be grateful that they have a job during this Covid-19 and should not treat customers this badly!! I go out of my way and drive additional miles to another location JUST TO SPECIFICALLY AVOID BLANCA. she is the worst and makes you feel like you're the dumbest person in the world. I wanted to ship a package to Turkey, she looked very very annoyed and said I had to fill out a customs form, I asked for a pen and she rolled her eyes and said she doesn't have one. Luckily a very nice lady who was in line let me borrow her pen. Once I had the forms filled out I got back in line and hoped to god that I wouldn't get BLANCA again. Nope. I got her again and again she was very annoyed with the fact that the address in Turkey was in Turkish. Like no shit Sherlock. Came here to mail off an envelope amongst other things. The person who helped me was super friendly and courteous. Great conversationalist. Very polite. This is definitely one of the largest post offices I've been in. It has a decent sized parking lot. The place is very roomy and lots of PO Boxes. But like all other post offices, usually there are only 2 employees that handle the front. As a result, there's always a line. But regardless, you'll at least feel comfortable while waiting in line. Everything they have is stocked, for example, the flat rate boxes of varying sizes. Overall, I've had nothing but friendly encounters with the employees. read more
