You can park on the first floor of the parking garage in the 20-minute spaces, but they are sometimes all full during the day. I was able to walk over with my package after conferring with the security guard at my bank, who had seen me walk into the bank, that I had actually used the bank and now had 20 minutes if I needed to run an errand. As soon as I entered the second clerk went on a break, leaving only one clerk at a window. She valiantly worked on by herself. A mail carrier was helping her out, so he kind of wandered back and forth. They were out of passport applications, and he gave information to a person who would have just had to stand in line for nothing. Then he kindly took my package, which was prepaid and for which I only needed a receipt, so good team work. It seems like the Postal service needs to supply more clerks to this post office since it gets a lot of use from the students and tourists, as it is still the central Post Office.

There is an awesome young man there named Daniel who went above and beyond to help me. I have a lot on my plate right now so I really needed some help with editing and so on to get them printed he did an amazing job. He was extremely patient with me. Very kind, very knowledgeable and very attentive to detail. I'll be doing an awful lot of printing for this even after the barbecue because this is an ongoing thing fighting for these kids that are being sexually trafficked. I choose the store for my needed materials to be printed. He needs a raise I tell you what he rocked and I cannot say enough good things about him. Can I say he needs a raise?. The only thing I wasn't really happy about is the owner making me pay an extra $5 for the help. I was a little taken back by that but what can you do? I am really happy that Daniel also posted up the fire letting the public know about the barbecue fundraiser on August 29th at the SLO GRANGE HALL. It's an extremely busy store and I was grateful that I have the ability to post it there so it helps get the word out. Today I went in again to get more copies and there was a young lady there with Daniel and her name was Savannah. She too was absolutely precious, helpful, so willing to learn as Daniel was teaching her how to work certain programs ECT. Both of them are just priceless. Did I say they needed a raise? When the doors open and the mad rush starts, you have to stand in line first to figure which line you will be standing in next, the super nice gal asked me for my 6 digit code, what code? You are supposed to go onto the DMV web site before you go and create an account and then let DMV know why you're coming.I did not the 6 digit code so my next line to stand in was the line with all the other folks who did not have a 6 digit code. After I got my 6 digit code I got back in line, this is my 3rd line , so I could let the gal at the first line I was in know that I had a 6 digit code now, fantastic! She said, now go sit until your number is called, about 30 minutes later my number was called and the gal at the window helping me with my class A drivers license was amazing, funny thing, I needed a new picture so off to line 4 I went. Line 4 was short and the gal was equally as nice as the others , after my picture I waved good by to everyone and wished them a wonderful day . The parking lot was full when I was leaving and the line was out the door , go early my friends , it's a lot less stress , highly recommend
