I am doing a fundraiser for child sex trafficking and I needed some help with printing the materials like the trifold, letters to certain businesses as well as window flyers. There is an awesome young man there named Daniel who went above and beyond to help me. I have a lot on my plate right now so I really needed some help with editing and so on to get them printed he did an amazing job. He was extremely patient with me. Very kind, very knowledgeable and very attentive to detail. I'll be doing an awful lot of printing for this even after the barbecue because this is an ongoing thing fighting for these kids that are being sexually trafficked. I choose the store for my needed materials to be printed. He needs a raise I tell you what he rocked and I cannot say enough good things about him. Can I say he needs a raise?. The only thing I wasn't really happy about is the owner making me pay an extra $5 for the help. I was a little taken back by that but what can you do? I am really happy that Daniel also posted up the fire letting the public know about the barbecue fundraiser on August 29th at the SLO GRANGE HALL. It's an extremely busy store and I was grateful that I have the ability to post it there so it helps get the word out. Today I went in again to get more copies and there was a young lady there with Daniel and her name was Savannah. She too was absolutely precious, helpful, so willing to learn as Daniel was teaching her how to work certain programs ECT. Both of them are just priceless. Did I say they needed a raise? Avoid this particular UPS based on the employees and their absolute disdain of customers. I typically go to UPS in Morro Bay and have used multiple other shipping services. Morro Bay is a standout in positive customer service. This Foothill location, and in particular one employee, really gives the whole business a bad name. I hope UPS wakes up and invites their employee Duncan to another job elsewhere not dealing with the public. In the few minutes I was inside, he bad mouthed UPS, Whole Foods, ragged on Amazon, and seemed to hate the fact that I was even there. He said "UPS doesn't even like doing returns for Amazon--they're not paid enough to deal with all the hassle." I suggested with a laugh that that seemed to be a problem for corporate UPS contract negotiators (not him and I at that moment), and he continued with the negative banter. I went to the UPS store on Foothill to mail a package of Lego models my grandson had assembled while here. The clerk said the box was not good enough (although I thought it was) and since he loved Legos so much, he would repack it for me to make sure it got there safely. It was an extra $17 to have him repack it. I thought repacking meant, opening the box, repacking the models (which were in bubble wrap and other packaging materials), and putting them in a better box. WRONG! When the box arrived, the "repacking" consisted of putting my box, unopened, inside another slightly larger box. I will never go there again. read more

I understand that you want to charge me $13 for a medium size box, and that's a bit of a gouge, but I get it. I've visited a few times to ship out packages or make copies and every time the workers have been super helpful and polite. Even though there's a line and complicated customers, I've only seen the workers be super patient and nice with everyone. The only caveat with this UPS store is that I still need to wait to get helped even though I just want a quick copy made. I have used this location twice for printing and both times it did not go well. They either need to hire more people (as they seem to be always busy) or make sure the ones they do have pay attention to details. First print job I sent was printed on the wrong paper and was not ready when I arrived (even though I called in advance and they said it would be) and second print job I sent they shorted me two copies of the 3 documents I sent. I had to go back the next day to pick them up and they still were not ready. I gave it three stars because the quality of the printing was actually decent. I've been a customer here for seven years for mailbox services. It's always been standard practice to give clients a month notice before renewal. I always pay two weeks after that, 6 months at a time. On Monday I went to retrieve my mail to find a notice of being late (2weeks) the store was pretty busy as it typically is so I left and called. Only to be told that I'm locked out of my mailbox until I make a payment. I was told there new policies they no longer send notice of renewing of a mailboxes. It saddens me that I now have to pay month-to-month for three months as I give my clients time to adjust to a new mailbox. read more

I have never had a more pleasant experience than I have at The UPS Store on Foothill. This store and the store on Johnson are owned by the same wonderful couple and they go out of their way to help their community. We recently needed to send several packages out for a fund raiser for our nephew who is battling leukemia - GO TEAM MATEO - and they give us a great discount on the cost of sending the packages of merchandise out. Last week I was helping a friend run some errands. She has just recovered from a major surgery and I drove her to her P.O. Box to pickup her mail. We didn't realize the time, it was 20 till. There was an employee getting setup for the day and doing his opening procedures. He saw us looking in the window and came out to see what we needed. 10/10 Great customer service! The two guys that helped me out (Gabe & Tristan I believe) were amazing, super patient and accommodating. The day I went to print my senior project (of course my team and I waited until the last minute), we had difficulty getting some of the pictures to print out correctly but they helped me out and made sure everything looked great and bound everything in the correct order. I was kind of stressed but they really went above and beyond to make sure I could get my project looking perfect.
