Shipping bday gift to grandson from Taunton to Wakefield. It was delivered to me in a gigantic box…read more(waste!) Mostly air. I as a 1st time customer am IMPRESSED. 1/2 he b4 closing he cut the box outside the boxes gift in half, taped it all up, slapped on the new label & had it ready for the FedEx pick up that was already late. Lucky Me! Relieved the FedEx chargers were $25ish BUT what struck me was when I checked the receipt he only charged me $2- for re-packaging (effort) Wowza try that at the post office. Best part is he did it all with a smile. Polite, professional and knowledgeable. That guy needs a raise. This place is gonna be a frequent stop for me. All the hours I've wasted trying to find boxes, wrapping in brown paper like a former postal worker would do, & a whole lot of tape when all I have to do now is bring it to Parcel & Post Plus. AND they offer USPS, FedEx,UPS. Great to have one person quoting all 3. Best value I've come across in a long time.

I went to this post office several times over the course of a year. It was fine. I mainly mailed…read morestuff from outside, but every once in awhile I had to go inside, either to mail a package, or occasionally because I had an issue with a package that I didn't get or something like that. It was fine, the staff were friendly and helpful enough (not overly so, though). There was often a line to get help from the window, but the staff were pretty timely - I never felt my wait was longer than appropriate for the number of people ahead of me. This post office is on the small side - there is a sizeable area for PO boxes, but I'd say the inside area where the front counter is is actually pretty small. Also, the parking lot is really awkward and for a bunch of the parking spaces you are often backing out into the path of traffic who are entering the lot. For me this often adds stress to the visit, but the convenience(for me) of the location led me to use this post office exclusively, instead of the others in town.

I…read morestood in line for over an hour waiting to simply drop off 3 ups Amazon returns, (which as a side note this is supposed to be a more convenient method for Amazon returns) & the ONE worker they had behind the counter was a woman who was taking that current time (a very busy time) to rip into & remove everyone's items separately from the boxes the customers had the items pre packaged inside of, & she than bagged the items in a plastic bag versus the boxes they were already originally inside of & than she would place the items in these new sealed bags inside of these larger boxes behind the counter, creating double the work for herself, & she would keep scanning a barcode on the side of the big box for each item that went inside of it. When I did finally get to the front of this ridiculously long line that moved in very slow motion I asked her why she was doing this & she told me "if the items are inside of a bag versus a box it saves room inside the larger boxes". Which I can appreciate & understand the logic behind this, however what I should have asked was why she was choosing to do this right than & there versus ohhhhh idk, maybe when it's not the busiest time of the day?!? I couldn't understand why there was no one in charge to tell her what she was currently doing was creating more work for herself, but more importantly was creating an unnecessary delay for every single person that stood on that line! I mean if your so set on saving space just scan the packages as their coming in, inside of the boxes customers have already packaged them inside of, put them aside, give the customer their receipt, & tear into these boxes & re-bag everything in plastic bags when the line isn't going out the door & THAN place them in of the bigger boxes all going to Amazon to save space & also to save customers time & aggravation.

I have to deliver the damn Excise tax myself & pay interest. Because it kept coming back to me like what is the problem! They lose your mail! Never answer the damn phones! Half the time I have to do their job. Cause they put peoples mail in wrong boxes! Prices keep going up & service keeps declining! How hard is it to read a name & address & put it in the right box? Ronny Garcia was the best mailman this post office has ever seen. Too bad this man retired. Quality of service sucks! And most importantly, they are a bunch of racists who will pick and choose the way they treat each individual. The worst is negative postings on their windows. The lumber office posted on their window a broken English stating "Keep Face away!! No face" and "Stand back until your called to the window" They will pretend that they don't see you while standing in front of their windows. What a shameful place it is! Corporate need to step in before things get out of control.
