Love this Providence USPS hub location! Its extended hours (lobby with clerks open to 9 pm on…read moreweekdays, unheard of!) are so convenient and helpful when I have something that must go out that day, but I've missed the cutoff at my local location. Lines can be long, but the self service kiosk can help me most times. Sometimes people jam the package bins, though, which somehow goes unnoticed by staff, and means you have to get in the sometimes long lines anyways. There are a wide range of extra services offered here, and tons of a wider variety of the free priority packaging options than most other locations have. There's a large parking lot, but people whip through it, so be careful! This location and its convenient extended hours are such an asset for local small business owners and residents alike.

There was a short line, and one employee on the register. He was delightful, chatting up all the customers, getting a few laughs and smiling like he just loved serving the public. You don't often get that at a post office and it was very refreshing. The line moved along pretty well depending on how many items each customer had to process and everyone was patient. There are a couple of tables in the lobby for filling out forms. One gentleman must have purchased stamps and was putting postage on a pile of cards at one of the tables. They have PO Boxes, shipping materials and cards for sale as well as flat rate boxes and envelopes available in the lobby so you can box up your items before going to the clerk for service. Passports are not processed here, but at the Warwick Post Office. Plenty of parking in their private lot, which is 'one-way'. A drive-up mailbox is located at the parking lot exit. Wheelchair buttons to auto open the doors if you need assistance are to the side of the entrance.

The receipt indicates the destination, weight, estimated delivery date, tracking #, insurance up to $100.00 included, and grand total. The package arrived safely and earlier than the estimated delivery date. Thank you USPS for processing and delivering mail and packages to individuals and businesses in the U.S.

The staff is knowledgeable about everything from mailing packages to renewing passports. I did have some difficulty finding the entrance. The address of this post office is 820 Elmwood Avenue, but you can't enter from Elmwood. The entrance & exit are actually on Cadillac Drive. I had to circle the block to figure it out, but now I know for the future. This seems like a busy post office, so keep that in mind if you're in a hurry.
