The incredible ineptidtude and carelessness of the employees at this particular location are BEYOND the pale, and are so incredibly outside of the lines of what anyone should tolerate, I just HAVE to say something, putting myself at risk of even more relaliation from these people. To describe how they have cost me many thousands of dollars over the years would barely scratch the surface of the true cost to my companies that their careless, remorseless, and outright resentful attitudes and actions have had. Year. After year. After year. The same. Exact. Experience. And an apology? You would have better luck hitting the lottery than get anyone in this location to take any accountability for their mess. As a former Management Role/Post Office employee myself, I am well aware of what it takes to carry out the simple tasks that these people profoundly screw up routinely. There is simply no excuse for it. Do yourself a favor, and go somewhere else, ANYWHERE else.

Grand Rapids police and postal staff do nothing to address the situation. PO Boxes only accessible during business hours, not very convenient or customer friendly. No automated shipping kiosk. In addition, supervisors shift blame to consumers when their staff continue to deposit mail in a private mailbox when all mail is supposed to be going to a PO Box that I pay several hundred dollars a year for.

This location was no exception and I had to wait almost 30 minutes to buy some stamps. There was easy parking out front, though, and the employees were pretty friendly, so it wasn't the worst time. Plus, this is the only post office close by to me, so I'm a little stuck with it and hope to have more pleasant experiences in the future since I know I will be going back.
