The package remains lost, even though the supervisor indicates that it arrived at his facility, and this supervisor has washed his hands of it.

Next time you need to just go to the Post office, take a friend or out of town visitor here. It is definitely tourist friendly. The elevator was photo worthy but due to a time restraint I could not go picture crazy. The coffee shop was worthy to visit and grab a donut or cup of coffee but poor barista was doing a couple of jobs at one time. He was struggling to help 3 customers and my watch was ticking so maybe next time our family will come have a coffee and donuts. The post office had the beautiful historic touch and my son adds it even have a smell of history. I understood well and it was not that bad smell but it had that historical groove and you felt good vibes here. It was kind of like a Mr Roger's neighborhood flavor and modern mixed in one. I enjoyed my visit and I will definitely be back. This trip to the post office brought a new experience and excitement about Tacoma! The hospitality at the actual post office was the highlight moment. Genuine old fashioned customer service and genuine smiles. The smiles was all contagious among strangers too. It is so many hidden gems of history in this place. Please Yelpers if you come , you will get camera crazy. I started to but my husband was restless for his other errands. I stopped in because I needed my stamps replenished. The employee happily pulled out a basket full of different types of stamps to choose from. I originally didn't care, a stamp is a stamp, but some of those options were amazing! I ended up with baby animals, because how can you not? We've had two situations requiring us to contact then (once they call me and different time I called them) and first... I can't believe they reached out to me! Second, time when I called them, they actually came to our home to remedy the issue. We have had several different mail carriers over the years, but everyone of them has gone above and beyond to help us. This post office is hard to find and it actually doesn't even look to be open but actually had good service. There was only one postal employee but he quickly handled everyone that came in all while helping me with my shipment questions and issue. He was polite, knowledgeable and even had a sense of humor which is RARE with postal workers who routinely seem to be on the verge of biting your head off for asking legitimate questions. I've been to offices with 3 workers who methodically handle each customer then walk away for 10 minutes like they're hoping the slow pace will somehow equate to less customer interaction. Overall, I've been to a lot of USPS to know that this type of service is not typical however I had to give kudos when I did experience service you should expect but sadly do not nowadays.
