They're quick, efficient, and polite - which says a lot because I've noticed people are typically grumpy when trying to send their mail out. They're also great when it comes to actually being helpful without the condescending, passive aggressive undertones. I've seen some people come with the intent of having something sent via certified mail. The clerks take the time to guide them on what form(s) to fill out and gets them squared away. When you come here with less than 5 people in line, it's a good visit. The workers don't rush and it's overall a smooth visit. But this is rare- like really rare The line is usually past the door going into the PO Box room - even during non-holiday season. Regardless, the workers work fast and efficient. I've often heard customers complain about the long wait times and I've never seen the workers give as much attitude as the customers give them They have a huge stamp selection to choose from and always have mailing material available. This is the reason why people don't use USPS. Terrible staff. 11/4 5:30 I walked in to the post office with the PO Box side with 50+ letters on hand, a female staff is holding a board in front of me. We arrived to the bulb mail lockbox at the same time, she slide the board right in front of me. I tried to stop her, she just turn around and said "No, I'm sorry." Obviously she's not sorry, she was happy to make me use the tiny slot mail box outside of the post office and I have to slide my 50+ letters one by one. She didn't offer to take my mails. This place used to be a place where if you saw a mailman near your house during a hot day you offered him or her a cold drink. The service was conservatively well done. Now mailman won't deliver on time, my mailman is on the phone ignoring everyone. I had to scream and wave at dude with earbuds in his ears talking to friend. Guy gives me a damaged package and tells me I must've did it cause there's no way he would've missed a hole punctured in my speaker box. Sign on the wall says in all caps: ALL MAJOR CREDIT CARDS MUST BE SIGNED ON THE BACK. "SEE ID" ON SIGNATURE LINE IN NOT ACCEPTABLE. NO EXCEPTIONS. You never see this nonsense in a private (read: "real") business. No idea why the post office finds it necessary to enforce this arcane technicality that even credit card companies often ignore. I hope all merchants check ID to ensure the true owner is presenting the card. Fraud would be easy it a thief need only present a signed card with no ID check. Thankfully, in my experience, most merchants ignore the merchant agreement that either prohibits checking ID (what, are you voting?!) or requires a signed card. They don't have a stamp machine, so you have to wait in line (sometimes long) to buy a stamp. I paid cash. read more

This post office is quite small, and best to go during the day around 10am-1pm before the end of the day rush. Location: It is in a plaza so the parking can be a bit tight at times but there is plenty of parking if you go behind the building. Service: I've been there at times during the holiday where the lines get long, and I have yet to have an unpleasant experience especially during the busiest time of year it can be stressful for the employees. I've been to post offices where I am standing in line praying that I don't get certain tellers, almost like Russian roulette! An employee I always see at the window who is always cheerful is Erwin! Customer service is TRASH. Thanks to the window worker name ANA or ANNA. I had my package and my prepaid shipping label ready, she told me I had to buy tape to stick the prepaid label on my box. I asked her if she had 1 piece of tape, 1 slice of tape. She said no I had to buy the tape, a whole roll of tape! I've been to USPS 4 times this week and each time they provide tape or a slip to slide my prepaid label in and stick it on the box. I asked her again to make sure I was hearing what she was saying. It's your typical small neighborhood post office. It can tend to get pretty busy here since it's a small storefront office. The only thing that sucks about this office is that you can only buy stamps when the main desk is open. There's no machines on the p.o. box self service side, thanks to the jackass idiots who have repeatedly vandalized/broken into the machines that used to be there. Let me start by saying every post office I might have step into most of the time have been understaff including this one by it least to say that only because it's packed and lines are long this men and women of this office take one for the team. The last couple of times I have to ship my items for family occasions. I have always been help by efficient and helpful staff if I not mistaking there names James and Erwin. The post office is located in a very busy shopping center that caters to many cites. The parking can be tight on a daily bases. The wait time at least for any service at this office is 10min but I don't mind waiting there pros. I hate coming to conclusions, but I believe there is a thief amongst the mail person that collects at the box of PCH and Newton. I dropped 4 packages on May 2nd on that mailbox with tracking numbers and all have not been scanned to this day.
