I come here once in awhile and I'm usually in and out. Unfortunately my last visit 6/20/26 was an unpleasant experience. When I entered, it was completely lifeless. No greeting, no one said hello, nor said anything. It was dark and I went to the front and finally someone walked out. I had to greet them instead and explain what I needed. I'm familiar with most of the staff as I've seen them before but this time, was my first time seeing this worker name Anthony. Didn't smile, or really speak, just quiet, and looked like he hated his job or didn't want to be there. They have young people working here and are either uneducated, not knowledgeable, or incompetent. Came here to get a document notarized and it was like pulling teeth. What should've been a simple procedure and transaction was rather slow and a frustrating experience. The process took forever and the guy looked like he didn't know what he was doing. He was reading the document so long and was staring at it. I asked him if there was an issue and asked if that was his first time doing that. He said it was his first time seeing my document. He asked what else I needed with that document and I told him what I needed as it says it in the document. IT CLEARLY STATES IT THERE, what the notary is asking for; only two things...the signed document and a copy of my identification. THAT'S IT. Basically the kid was too lazy to read it and didn't know how to do it, so he asked ME instead as if to summarize it for him or indicate to him what the document is needing. My suggestion is, these young kids need more proper training. I'm probably not much older than that kid but these people that UPS is hiring are not well knowledgeable. They need to learn how to do their job and stop being lazy. The process took so long that I had to get somewhere urgently and the kid took his sweet time writing whatever he needed down in a book and just taking way too long with a simple document that could've taken like 5-10 minutes. He was really SLOW. I know he comprehends but it was probably too early for him for a Saturday morning maybe partying the night before. There's two workers. One was hiding in the back. The female for whatever reason was not helping and there were people coming in and no one was helping them. The guy Anthony helping us had his head down the whole time, didn't even look up to greet the customer or said to them he'll be with them in a moment. Nothing. Just quiet and motionless. The one hiding in the back didn't even come out for a good minute. I turned around and motioned to the lady carrying boxes, that "there's someone in the back," hoping she'd come out and help, but didn't. Not even the worker in front of me said anything. He finally finishes and cashes me out. I see him turn around looking for his coworker to the back door and mumbled out loud "WHERE IS SHE?" and then out pops her head and comes out of nowhere and FINALLY gives him a hand. The staff here are lazy, slow, and just inefficient. They're not as helpful and should be on top of it. There's other guys that work here during the week and are much quicker, but the two working that Saturday morning 6/20/26 was just really bad. They need more proper training. My advice to management is staff training, and educating them on customer service skills and the job duties and how to do them correctly. Other locations have been more useful. Avoid this place if possible unless you are willing to spend all day here as they will waste most of your time. read more

I came into drop off a return, and the employee, who was helping another customer, said I could scan my return and leave it. I said the package still needs to be taped, and I asked if I should wait in line (vs leaving it there untaped). He said, "yeah you can wait in line. I'm the only one here, so..." Is it that hard to be polite to customers? Maybe throw in "yes I'll be with you in 5-10 minutes"? I opted to leave instead of waiting in line for poor customer service. read more

This was by far the worst customer service experience I've ever had. Manager Chris Grogan was extremely rude, disrespectful, and arrogant throughout our interaction. He refused to help us for what seemed like unreasonable reasons and escalated the situation by threatening to call 911. When we asked for an update after he spent time on the phone, he sarcastically told us he was talking to "tech support." His attitude was dismissive, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. Customers deserve to be treated with respect, and unfortunately that was not the case here. I would strongly recommend additional customer service training and management oversight for this location. If I could give Chris Grogan less than a 1 star review I would. read more

Went in the other day to simply drop off an Amazon return. I was offered a receipt to track the package going out. Upon receipt of the tracking number, I was given a 6 colors of salvation handout. Seriously? How inappropriate for a public business to be handing these out to customers! On pride month no less. Whatever happened to separation of church and state. Unfortunately there is an extremely rude manager working today. All other staff seemed very nice and attempted to be helpful, Do not attempt to order a print job to this location, as it will just be cancelled. I ordered one which had not yet been cancelled and the manager rudely brushed me off saying that they don't do them, no apology whatsoever. I understand it might be frustrating as an employee if your franchisee chooses not to accept print jobs, but don't really get the need to be rude. I went across the parking lot to FedEx and they printed it instantly and for a better price! Extremely friendly staff at FedEx as well, definitely go there if at all possible. read more

They didn't give me a receipt because they were 'out of paper!' When I called the store to follow up on the package, two weeks after I dropped it off for shipment, the clerk told me to file a claim! WTF?!!!! If you have to call the 800 # to get help on creating a claim on line, to get to a real person, say 'speak to an agent to file a complaint', if you say 'claim' you won't get to a live person, you'll be referred to file it on the ups site. read more

I had to ship an amp to my brother in Hawaii as he had it repaired at a shop in Torrance. I knew the shipping was going to be expensive as it weighed 41 lbs. My brother told me to request that it was double boxed for protection. The amp wasn't very big but I had it packed well with dense foam all around it and sealed in a sturdy cardboard box. I wrongly assumed that since UPS advertises that they are "shipping experts" that their employees understood the value of double boxing packages. I was wrong. That female employee that helped me got a slightly larger box then what I brought in. She assembled the bottom and then struggled to put my sealed box in, without padding the bottom. She asked for some help from another employee to get the box in. She calculated the shipping and the cost of the box and told me the cheapest route was about $230 and that it would take several days to arrive. I told her that was fine and it wasn't a rush. I then asked her to make sure to add padding to the bottom and top of the box. She seemed surprised and told me it would be extra for the packing material and I told her that was no problem. For the additional box and packing material and shipping my bill was about $260. I thought that the amp was in good hands with a company that specializes in packing and shipping. When my brother received his amp it was shattered and bent. He said that they had only put some bubble wrap on the bottom and one side of the box. They didn't even fill the rest of the dead space in the box with more packing material! So obviously, their employees do not know how to pack a box to protect its contents. The other thing I don't understand is how packages get so roughed up that something packed in foam AND double boxed can get so damaged? I'm sure it would have had better odds if their employees had put more packing material around the inner box correctly, but are their delivery drivers and shipping employees deliberately dropping and beating up boxes??? For the money I paid, I expected that my package would arrive safe and sound. If you have something valuable, DO NOT trust that their employees know how to package your things so that they don't get damaged. I regret that I chose this UPS location and will definitely be using FedEx I the future. read more

They have never given me issue and go above and beyond. I made the mistake of going to this location to drop of 4 packages and as I walked in the employee behind the coutlnter asks if I'm dropping off my my packages. I say Yes and added that I need a receipt. He then tells me I'm sorry I can't take those, they're not going to take them. I assumed he was saying the truck left and they'll leave tomorrow, so I told him no problem I'll just drop them and take the receipt. He then says, no we're not goong to take the packages. At this point I'm perplexed about what he's saying and remind him I was here a few days ago and they took my packages and gave me a receipt. He then quickly says I see but im going to have to dent your packages. I ask for a Manager and he coincidentally says I am the assistant manager, so I say again well can I speak with the manager to see if they'll take my packages and he then says the Manager is in the hospital. He just went in today. I didn't want to argue with the this teenage assistant Manager who said his name was Ben. I went outside and waited for the UPS truck driver to finish his break and when he popped out of the truck I explained what transpired inside and he could not beoive it. The driver was super helpful and I helped him load the packages onto the truck without issue.
