I broke my leg recently and was asking him to help put the box I was delivered inside the door when my dog got out. He waited patiently until I got her back in the house then helped with the box. The building looks like a historic building and when you walk into the lobby its like your going back in time. The old tile work is cool and neat to see the old mailboxes. I went about 10am and they had no line, I was able to get in and out. Lots of free parking around the building. They have free USPS shipping boxes and they sell tape and other size boxes if you need them.. The clerks were very professional and polite. Glad I found this spot and I would certainly return if I have to mail something again.

Today I got scolded for not affixing my certified mail receipts to the envelope. I told the clerk after having the cops called on me in McKinleyville, I'm scared to death to make a mistake. I've never had anyone complain about having to affix the certified mail receipts before. Isn't that part of the job? ‍ He tried to make it sound like it was policy but I'm not seeing any evidence of that. These customer facing employees seriously need to get over themselves. It was a real come down after such a great experience at Post Haste. These two post offices are in desperate need of training. But, I won't hold my breath.
