I haven't set foot in a post office in ages-until recently when I had occasion to stop by twice in a matter of days. It's an eerie feeling-there is no music playing overhead, the ambience is cold and stale and nobody really interacts with one another beyond necessary for transaction. However, the US Post Office isn't in the placemaking business, and that's ok. Their job is to get our mail from one place to another. I was able to get my business taken care of and even received a call back from the postmaster himself with an answer to my question. I appreciate that! Now, if someone could get some Musak playing overhead, the wait in line might be more tolerable. read more

They were not closing until 6:30 and yes I do understand I was there only 5 min before however before I could count and tell them how many things I need to be helped with I was told they were close I would have to come another time. I try to advocate and me reasonable however I defiantly felt like I was being kicked out cause my transaction would be more time consuming than the rest of the those in the line. Don't recommend this location and felt Judged and basically was kicked out. I had to give it a star but wished I could leave none. read more

My mail never gets delivered to me. It keeps going back as "not a deliverable address" but when I ask in person they say it's a good address. I've had to pay late fees for missing doctors bills, and had to go into banks to receive documents that were supposed to be mailed. read more

I hate that our country's post offices are going downhill, because they are STILL a functioning part of our communities and actually bring neighbors together, much like this one! Unfortunately, like many other USPSs, this one has limited staff and resources. Everything looks old or not taken care of...WHYYY...BECAUSE of the lack of man power and probably funds, they are given. It's sad, to see the reviews, because the staff at this location are actually super NICE and SWEET! They're just stretched too thin! At least they do their best and are also really helpful at trying to move the crazy line through, as fast as they can! Nice people - staff was smiling and cheerful Great service - easy appointment setting online/appointment reminders sent via text and e-mail the day before. I made an appointment and they were on time. Punctuality is so important to me. The friendliness was the cherry on top. I had a great passport experience. This post office always has long lines and not enough clerks. The clerk's that are working the windows, work at a snail's pace. I guess that's why they call it "snail mail". Parking is limited. read more

This location is in dire need of some help. There is never more than a maximum of two people working and the lines are always long. Recently I went on vacation and placed a mail hold and chose the option of having the carrier deliver accumulated mail on a specific date. It just so happened to be right before Christmas. I got an email stating my mail hold was expiring and the mail would be delivered the next day. Nothing came. Christmas came and went. Still no mail. A week later I went to the post office and stood in a 30 minute line only to be told that my mail wasn't there, they had no idea where it went, and there was nothing they could do about it. I get it, your job sucks. The term "going postal" doesn't exist for no reason. But I always hear about how they are losing money yadda yadda. You would think treating your customers like actual human beings could help that a little? I ship upwards of 100 packages a month for my online buyers co-op and I am trying my best to keep them in business. They could try a little by harder on their side. read more

I feel like this location has gotten a little bit better recently. In the past, I felt like every time I showed up, the line was dreadfully long, there were only one or two employees actually working to assist customers, and the employees always seemed short-tempered and over-worked. But, recently I feel like there tend to be more employees available and the line never seems to be quite as long as it was in the past (or maybe I'm just getting lucky recently). I came in specifically with one wedding invitation, just to see how much it would cost, to send them all? I left with an answer of $1.19. I then came back, the same day, with the hundreds of wedding invitations, that had just been finished. The next postal worker I spoke to, said that it would be $2.03 to mail them, per envelope.... Astonished, I agreed to pay that price... I needed to get my invites out, they had me over a barrel... The next day I had a few more invites, that I needed to mail, so I came back once again . I was again told, by yet another postal worker, that they only would cost a $1.19. I was inconsolable, but remained calm! I had just spent a fortune the day prior. Still one star. Our neighborhood mail box is broken so our residence and about 15 others are not getting mail delivered. Several of the neighbors have called and/or gone into the Post Office and we all keep getting different. Most recently, I sent an email through the main website and got a call from someone saying they sent it to maintenance and it's out of their hands. Really??? There is no timeframe when it will be fixed. So now, the 10-15 of us have to go to the post office every day if we want our mail. We have elderly neighbors and this is a huge burden on them. I don't visit this Post Office all that often, but its close to my mom's house so I will stop by when in the area. This location offers all the services you'd expect to find, it's rather large inside and has several counter spots for service, it also provides a separate counter in the gift area, usually it's closed though. There's also usually only 1 counter open ever here and service gets prety slow here, any time of the day or day of the week. The self serve machine provides a lot of services, but there's still plenty you have to do at the counter. I've noticed recently at all locations, they no longer keep the change of address forms in the lobby, I'm not even sure if they still have them at all, or if you're forced to update this online for $1 fee. I haven't had bad Sergio here before, but I've never received stellar service either. read more

A lot of mail gets lost from this Post Office Very uncomfortable, and expensive when you have to cancel checks etc for lost checks. Our neighborhood box constantly has wrong mail in it. It is very disappointing and nerve wrenching when you are trusting this post office with your personal information. So Disappointed!!!!! read more

I like this post office when it's not busy. It's easy to get to with plenty of parking. There have been times when I've had to wait in line for 20 minutes plus, but when you avoid the rush hours (lunch and after work), it's quick in and quick out. read more

Incredibly rude staff. Arrived to a long line then they told me they were closed. Sent me to a self service machine which was not what I needed. I have a package to pick up that required their help. Wouldn't you allow the folks in line to be helped vs. cutting one person off? Customer Service training is needed at this location. A reminder that yelling to customers in front of everyone is unprofessional in any industry. I received a letter from a friend with some small, but valuable contents inside. The letter was clearly torn open and half of the contents were taken by someone. I contacted the post office and explained the situation, but they clearly could care less. They sent me an email basically saying that they understand my frustration, and they are also frustrated, but they are not going to do anything about it. Not entirely surprised. The USPS is one of the worst run entities out there. Over the last 6 months, I have had 3 occurrences of delivery problems. One package was lost, but all the post office did was keep delaying the delivery date. This continued for nearly 5 months. The second package took much longer than the expected delivery date. Because this package was coming from a small town, they did not have access to FedEx. However, the same package would have been delivered FedEx ground in half the time, for half the price---Yes, really. I am in the middle of my 3rd issue with package delivery. When calling the 1-800 number, the wait time is consistently over an hour. When calling the local post office, nobody answers. The package has been noted to be in my city for the past 6 days, however it still has not been delivered. Totally unacceptable! read more

This morning I had an important letter to mail and when I arrived I was to early. One of your employees who was sweeping the floor told me to use the automated service and then went out his way to assist me in getting the proper postage for this letter. I do not know his name, but he was wearing a black sweatshirt and had a Mohawk haircut. Now he did not have to do this but I was impressed with his willingness to go the extra mile for someone he did not know. I have had this same experience with those who wait on us at the counter. Inside the post office is usually reasonable when I go there. Busy times can have long lines but I am usually there not during lunch or evening rush. My problem is that I can never get through by phone, and their express delivery people claim they try and leave a package, but even though I am here waiting, I often don't get loud knock or doorbell ring, just an email telling me they tried to deliver and left a notice. Despite the fact I am sitting there waiting for them to come. And then you try and call about it (local number) and never can get through. Utterly poor CS. read more
