The carrier has repeatedly taken items i've mailed, and failed to scan so the items never arrive to where I've sent them. (where are they?) True.. not all the time, but 4 or 5 ( in less than a year) items never scanned, never delivered is too much. He/she is lazy leaving huge boxes at mailbox across the street instead of bringing to my door. I tried to call to report..but never can get to actually speak to anyone. Ran in during the Christmas rush with some last minute packages for out of state friends. It looked…read morelike I had just missed a big rush because about six people came out just before I went in. There was a short line of 3 people when I got inside. There were two employees working the 'windows' and they gave each and every customer their undivided and friendly attention. The first thing they said to each person is 'sorry for the wait'. They must have to say that a hundred time a day at least. It's the holiday and everyone is sending packages. These ladies were working efficiently and remained friendly. That is really a big deal. I don't often run out this way, and stopped by this post office because it was on my way between other stops. Boy am I glad I went this way. A really great P.O. experience. Well done.

I recently had to renew my passport and I had gone to a different post office and was told to go to…read morethe Southampton branch. Apparently, they can deal with passports more efficiently at this branch. I had picked up the form previously and had it filled out. I presented it to the clerk, he checked it, then told me I had to have my picture taken which was done quickly and within a few weeks, I received my new passport. It was done very expeditiously and is a real time saver. If you need a passport or a renewal, pick up the form in advance and fill it out to save time. I would recommend this post office to renew, getting an original passport or renewing an expired passport. When you start the process, make sure you have the correct form [provided at the post office] for what you need-a renewal form for renewing a passport, etc.
