I picked up the shirt with no issues, but when I returned for the pants, I was charged a fee for dry cleaning on top of the mending -- although I had not specified a desire for this service. The automated system used by Pier Cleaners wouldn't allow me to pick up my pants without paying for a service I hadn't even requested. Nobody was available on-site to assist with customer service, and the person I spoke with told me she would "pass along a note". Three days later, I still have not been contacted. I also reached out on their website contact to inform them of my issue. Management obviously has no problems with contacting me via text/email multiple times to leave a review, but apparently they can't be bothered to get back to me. It's an automated service made for convenience. However, if something goes wrong, it seems you're own your own. Use Pier Cleaners at your own risk.

I was very specific about the details--monogram placement, font, and even requested that my name be done in all lowercase. Unfortunately, every item was done incorrectly. The monogram on the scarf was placed upside down (so when worn, it read incorrectly), and both the sweatshirt and pajamas were embroidered in the wrong font and not in lowercase as requested. When I brought this to their attention, I was told the original items could not be corrected and would need to be replaced and re-embroidered. To their credit, they agreed to repurchase the items. However, when I returned to pick them up, none of the items had been embroidered at all--and the pajamas provided were not even the correct pair. At that point, I requested a refund for the embroidery services I never received. I was told the employee present was unable to process a refund. I had to insist on getting something in writing stating that I would be refunded, but I have little confidence this will actually happen. I have not received a phone call, email, or any other communication to try to rectify the issue or send a refund. I've since filed a dispute with my bank. Between the repeated errors, lack of attention to detail, and inability to resolve the issue properly, this was an incredibly frustrating experience--especially given that these items were meant for a special occasion. I would not recommend this business based on my experience. The level of inaccuracy and lack of follow-through here is simply unacceptable.

I have never had an issue here and have frequented Pier Cleaners for a least ten years. It is not the closest dry cleaner to me, I live in Narragansett, but I trust them and have NEVER had a problem. I highly recommend Pier Cleaners! They are reliable and my clothes are always perfectly dry cleaned!

Washers start at $3/load for their smallest front-loaders and it costs 25 cents to dry for 6 minutes. If I didn't like clean underwear so much, I'd be saving my quarters for my own washer and dryer.
