I came here for their wash and fold service (cash only) which was $1.50 per pound with a $22.50 minimum(15lbs min). I dropped it off around noon and they were able to get it done within a few hours and they had a lock box for after hour pickup which helps for after work pickup. Great place to either drop off laundry or wash your own. There is a bathroom (only open when staff is working), great and friendly staff, it's safe, well lit and CLEAN! What a great experience! My wife and I are staying in Mystic and could not find a local laundromat to wash and dry some clothes. Checked out Yelp and decided to give Chloe's a shot. Very good choice. Exceptionally clean, machines all work, coin machine available for the quarters you will need and the individual working could not have been more helpful. This place is very clean and has tons of washers and dryers so you don't need to fight for a machine. The dryers are huge and I can fit 2-3 normal size loads In just one of their dryers. Drawback - no wifi so if you like to stay while your stuff is being washed bring a book. Dryers are .25 for 5 minutes but they don't require much time to dry so it's not a bad deal. It's a pity I'm not from around here, because honestly this place turns the weekly trudge down to the laundromat into something enjoyable. The place is clean, with ample, fairly priced machines and an immediately welcoming environment. The attendant/owner spotted me looking slightly lost, offered to break my 10, and pointed me at the right machine. Upon seeing me waiting outside for my wash cycle to finish, he graciously plunked his office chair down for my use. It's a really nice change from the surly, dead-silent attendants in the facilities I'm used to. Who writes reviews for laundromats, right?! Well, I do. I recently moved so until I buy a washer/dryer, I'm at the mercy of laundromats. I've been two over in Norwich but I much rather prefer this one. It's clean, warm and has wifi which is perfect if I wanted to "strand" myself somewhere to do some reading/writing/streaming movies AND do laundry. They have washers that take up to 50 lbs. I have used the wash, dry and fold service twice when experiencing washer problems at home. The service was excellent. I commented to the attendant that my family was going to fire me from laundry duties because she did such a wonderful job. My husband and I both noticed our clothes and sheets even felt softer.
