This small town Post Office epitomizes the concept of customer service. The sole employee is…read morepresent from open to close, and knows each customer by name. The service is outstanding, and should be a role model for larger post offices, where the customer seems to come last. We need to 'save' post offices like these before they are closed and become a part of local history. While mailboxes are accessible 24/7, the counter closes for lunch between 11am and 11:30am.

The downtown location has homeless hitting up every person as they approach. The other location has a hour-long line to wait every time I've been there, no matter the hour. Hey, we got a piece of mail addressed to your new company yesterday, but the address was wrong and Shirley was about to return to sender. She asked me about it and I said, 'that's that new company, Eucephalus Environmental.' So I wrote the right address on it. You get it?" Sure enough, I get home and check the envelope, and the original street address is some street that I've never heard of, crossed out, with my actual address printed above. When you live in the sticks, you sometimes wonder why the hell you chose to live out in the sticks. And then someone whaps you upside the head with a reminder.

Lots of parking, so no prob. I've found the best way to use UPS is get an account and set of all the billing and then you can do shipping label printing at home or at the office. I work out of my house, so I don't have a regular UPS pick up, so I just print the shipping label and bring it down to the UPS store. Drop off, get a tracking receipt and off I go. If there's a line, someone usually asks and just drop offs? Yep, that's me and off I go. If you want the best price on shipping and you don't need it to get there the very next day, UPS is fine. If you want over night, gotta be there the next day, go FED EX, they're the overnight delivery people, but they're ground service is not so good. What's good about this location, is if you're hungry, there's lots of places to get all kinds of food right nearby, from Mod Pizza, to In N Out, to Chinese food at Panda Express.
