Great job. Kevin, Chris and Cameron were our movers and they were all nice, professional, hard workers and fun to talk to. I will be recommending them to anyone in the area I know that needs movers for home of business.

Unless you're looking to set up a meth lab, I'd steer clear of this place; it's sketchy as hell…read more The roof leaks, but when I told them about it, the only thing that happened is that they suddenly started requiring everyone to carry insurance, tacking an extra charge onto each unit. The snow removal is half-assed. It took me at least 90 minutes of hard labor to hack through snow and ice to access my unit once. They don't have anyone nearby, so if you have a problem, be prepared to wait awhile for someone to get there. Your unit rent will be prorated when you move in, but regardless of when you move out, you get charged for the whole month. Customer service is apathetic and surly. They just want the money and don't seem to care about your experience whatsoever. As for the security of your stuff--the gate is always open, nobody is ever there, and I'm pretty sure the security cameras aren't even operational. This place is clown shoes.

I left them alone and let them do their thing for a few hours and just told them to text me when they were ready, which they did. After they were all done and I was setting up in my new apartment, the first thing I looked for was my air conditioner. It was a hot day and if I was gonna be working on setting up my new apartment I needed cool air. I couldn't find it anywhere, I couldn't even find any of my many fans. So I went back to the old apartment and found them all there. Why leave those? I told them the only things I didn't want them to move, the air conditioner and my fans were definitely not on that list. I understand saving those for last so you can have them running while you work, but why just leave them at the end? It's so strange. They left a number of other things I had wanted them to get as well, but easily the most annoying thing was the air conditioner. It's a big heavy one that sits on the floor, I was pretty annoyed that now I had to bring it down two stories of stairs when I had just paid these movers $1200 to do it. So that loses them three stars in my rating. I should also mention that days after our move we got an email from them offering us a $25 gift certificate to L.L. Bean in exchange for a positive review. I chose to write an honest review instead.

Outrageous prices!!!!!!!!!!!! We contacted Liberty Bell Moving & Storage for an estimate to move…read morefrom our current home to our new home next month. We ONLY needed them to move certain large items as we would be moving our smaller belongings ourselves. Our new home is LESS than 10 minutes away from our current home, yet they wanted to charge us over $200 just in travel fees alone! Then, they charge $231 per hour on top of that with a MINIMUM of 6 hours. UNREAL!!!! So, to move just a few large items less than 10 minutes away, which probably would have taken no more than 2 hours, it would have cost us nearly $2000 (the quote they provided us was $1700). What a joke!!!! We have since hired another local moving company, who will only be charging us a little over $400 for this move and have told us that it may even be less if they are able to do it faster, which is FAR more reasonable and is exactly what we expected to pay for this move. These people are Liberty Bell are greedy price gougers!!! No way would we ever pay that much for a local move! Hell, we have friends who moved almost 800 miles and they didn't even pay that much! Definitely do NOT recommend this company!

The day of the appointment they had a cancellation and I received a phone call and they came earlier than the scheduled appointment which was great. Public Review for Ron's Moving Company (Holden, Maine) Terry…read moreGrant and her family hired Ron's Moving Company to come to my residence at 18 Lonnie Lane in Holden, Maine, and the experience was one of the worst I've ever had with any service provider. When the crew arrived, they were immediately informed that the property was involved in an active divorce case and that a court injunction prohibited the removal of any items. Despite being told this directly and clearly, the movers ignored the legal notice and proceeded to remove items at my wife's request--including premarital property that belongs solely to me. Their behavior made the situation even worse. While loading my belongings, the movers made jokes about the situation, and when I stated that the items they were taking were my property, one of them yelled back, "No it's not!" The level of disrespect and unprofessionalism was astonishing. A reputable moving company should stop immediately when notified of a legal restriction. Instead, Ron's Moving Company chose to proceed, creating financial harm, legal complications, and unnecessary conflict. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company to anyone. Their disregard for legal instructions and their unprofessional conduct speak volumes about how they operate.

While this place has one of the largest refrigerator beer selections in Bangor, I can't justify bringing those bottles into my home. That aside, I love coming here for the redemption center. The line generally moves quickly as they often have 4 people helping sort through your recycling and they are genuinely friendly people. I've never had a propane need, but you can refill tanks at this location, too. I love the convenient location, but the parking is a bit lacking (there is a giant lot next to the building, but everyone tries to cram into the small space right by the door which I assume isn't really even supposed to be a parking area anyway). There is a seperate entrance for bottle purchase than the redemption side, which I hope smells better!
